Nothing to say, yet
Lee Boyd is excited to announce a new CARES Bible study starting in Todd, North Carolina. The study will focus on spirit, soul, and body and aims to help frustrated Christians. The study will meet every other Thursday at 6:30 pm, with fellowship time before. The location is yet to be determined. Anyone is welcome to join, and there is no cost. Lee encourages people to sign up and promises that knowing the truth will set them free. The study begins on the first Thursday of March. Hello, this is Lee Boyd and I am so excited to be able to give you some good news and I believe this is going to be a life-changing news for you if you participate. We're going to be starting a CARES Bible study up in the Todd area of North Carolina, which is near Boone. Many of you may not have heard of Todd, but it's between Boone and West Jefferson. And Cindy and I are going to be starting this Bible study the first week of March, which will be the first Thursday of March, and we'll be meeting every other Thursday. And we will be meeting at 6.30 and going to about 8 o'clock. We're going to have a little bit of fellowship time before, maybe break bread together and just have a really good time, fun time in the Lord. But most importantly is we're going to be studying spirit, soul, and body, and I've got to tell you, it's changed my life. And actually, when we started Bible college in 2014, it wasn't long after that we started studying spirit, soul, and body, and I was a frustrated Christian. And if you're a frustrated Christian, you need to come to this Bible study that we're going to have. We're not affiliated with any local churches as far as with the Bible study, so everyone's welcome. We're not quite sure where we're going to meet yet. We're either going to meet at our home or we're going to meet at another facility, and we'll let you know that, too. But I'll provide a link at the bottom of this podcast, so you can go to there if you'd like to sign up. But it's going to be exciting. It's going to be really, really good. You know, it's the truth that we know that sets us free, right? And so you've got to get the truth, and when you get the truth, it'll set you free. And you can walk. You don't have to be... You know, people say all day, Christianity's up and down. It's not supposed to be. We're not supposed to be a yo-yo, up one minute, down the next. You know, the mountains are brought down low, the valleys are brought up. You know, we'll have some bumps in the road, but we really shouldn't be up and down and up and down. And we have so much to be thankful for, don't we? The only one that should be discouraged and depressed is the devil, because he's a withering branch coming to nothing. But you know what? This is going to be good, and Cindy and I will be doing it jointly, and it's going to be fun. And, you know, friendships will be created out of this, and there's just something about getting together, breaking bread, too, and then sharing the Word, the spiritual Word of God's Word, the good news of the Gospel. And if you want to hear the good news and you want to hear the truth, this is the place to come. I want to invite you to come, and if you have any questions, like I said, we'll have information at the bottom of the screen or the bottom of this podcast for you, and we hope you'll consider coming. Pray about it, and I can tell you it's God's will for you to be here. Satan doesn't want you to be here because he doesn't want you to know the truth, because once you know the truth and you're free, you're set free, and that's when you become a problem for the enemy. Not knowing the truth and just going to church, which going to church is important, but if you just go to church and think that's what Christianity is about, and that's all it's about, is you've been mistaken. You've been fooled, because what Satan wants is for you to go to church, but he doesn't want you to become the church, and so he doesn't want you to look like Jesus. You're not a threat if you don't look like Jesus, and we can look like Jesus because Jesus said we can. Christians means little Christ, and we're supposed to look like him, so again, I just am so excited this morning. I just wanted to share that with you, and please consider signing up, and I promise you it's free. There's no charge at all, and we look forward to seeing you in Todd, North Carolina, as we start this Bible study, and like I said, it's the first Thursday of March. It's right up, not too far away, just about a month away, and we look forward to seeing you then, and God bless you. God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you, and God bless you.
