Increasing student attendance leads to higher academic achievement. When students are present in school, they have the opportunity to learn new material and practice their skills. The school plans to motivate students before testing by holding an assembly and encouraging each grade level to do their best. The assembly will emphasize the importance of attendance. With less absences, there will be an increase in student academic achievement. Students will be in school available to learn new schools taught or practice developed skills. The school will hold an assembly before testing to cheer on grade levels to do their best. The importance of attendance will be conveyed throughout the assembly.
