Children need daily practice to develop reading and math skills. In school, they learn socializing, following directions, and problem-solving. To help them succeed and stay motivated, individual attention, a welcoming atmosphere, and parental involvement are important. Children need to practice new skills daily as they learn to read and develop basic math skills. In school, children begin to learn how to socialize with others. They learn how to follow directions and problem-solve. Giving individual attention, providing a welcoming atmosphere, and gaining parental involvement will be factors to help children be more successful in school and encourage them to continue to attend.
