The website greatbiblereset.com has been upgraded with a blog featuring articles on key turning points and trends in Western civilization and American history. The articles cover topics such as St. Augustine, Alfred the Great, the transition from biblical restitution to retributionary legal systems, and the impact of religious movements on American history. The podcast is back after a hiatus, and the website offers a critical biblical analysis of the first two centuries of American history. It emphasizes the need for a "Great Bible Reset" and challenges the idea of constitutionalism. It also offers resources for homeschooling and reducing college expenses. Hello everybody, welcome back to greatbiblereset.com. We've been on something of a hiatus here for a few months, a pause over the holidays, and then we got completely upgraded, or we completely upgraded the website and added a blog with a lot of fascinating articles and some of the key turning points and trends in the history of Western civilization and in American history as well. And yeah, you won't want to miss that. You can actually just read the abstract if you want on these articles, they're kind of long, and then dig into them in more depth if you want to, you know, get more, if you so desire. Unfortunately, this distracted us from the podcast, but we are back now, and you'll find, you know, biographies of St. Augustine over there in the blog, Alfred the Great, how his restitutionary legal system, based on Exodus 20-24, the law of the covenant, the Mosaic covenant, was superseded by the retributionary legal system of Henry II, father of the common law. And they switched at that point from biblical restitution to a strictly retributionary legal system in which the king was deemed to be the one that was offended every time. And they imposed many grotesque punishments that we still suffer from today, from many of them. Prisons and prison terms were first introduced at that point in history during this period of duels, trial by combat, trial by fire, trial by hot water, and many more things like that. And then we jump over to the Atlantic, you know, to see how all this played out in early American history with the Puritans of Massachusetts, the impact of the First Great Awakening on the Constitutional Convention, then the burned-over district of the Second Great Awakening in New York State, and then, of course, the devastating Civil War. So, you know, you really need this critical biblical analysis of the first two centuries of American history to really understand why we've arrived at the point that we're at today in our current desperate state of divine judgment. What is God's great controversy with America? And this is the question that we've got to answer in our homeschools and in our Christian schools this fall. So, as we stand today, we stand today in need of a Great Bible Reset, GreatBibleReset.com, back to the restitutionary system of Alfred the Great. You know, way too long we've allowed ourselves to be hypnotized by the alleged neutrality of constitutionalism. And this was actually introduced by the British commonwealth men in the middle of the 17th century England as an antidote to the divine right of kings theory of James and Charles Stewart. And for a very brief moment there, the beacon of biblical covenantalism kind of shone through when parliament was flirting with the biblical covenant, and they called it the solemn legion covenant. But Oliver Cromwell ignored that, probably rightfully so, because it took the form of a Presbyterian established church. And Cromwell was too much committed to the principle of religious liberty to allow that to occur. Now, had they just returned to Alfred the Great, things would have been great, would have been wonderful. But they didn't do that. They let the commonwealth men, British commonwealth men, lure them back into so-called virtue of neutral law, neutral institutional structures, what they call constitutionalism. And this, in effect, became the British curse on America. But these are things that we've got to teach our children. In other words, if your school or curriculum this year is exalting any form of constitutionalism, neutral constitutionalism, you're misleading your children with an unbiblical model and false patriotism. And it's not hard to pick this out, because virtually all of them are doing it. And if you've got school-age children, we've extended our March Madness scholarship, so it's not too late to apply for the 50 scholarships for needy families at Kingsway Classical Academy. It's the only school, the only online school that I'm aware of that does not teach allegedly neutral constitutionalism. We desperately need biblical covenant, not the so-called religious constitution of the commonwealth men of 17th century England. So, if you're on the fence on some of these things, I've got a couple of helpful tools for you. If your family is still in public school, you can go to kingswayschool.us and I've got a very helpful spreadsheet there that will help you compare all your options on about a dozen different criteria and really help you make an intelligent decision. And then if you're already a homeschooler, I want you to go to kingswaylp.com and get the exact five steps that you must follow in order to cut your college expense. If any of your kids are heading towards college-bound or think they might be college-bound, this will cut that expense from $100,000 up to $100,000 down to as low as $3,500. The kids can get that during their high school years, junior high and high school years. It will give you the exact five steps to do that. So, please go ahead and do that and we'll see you next time at greatbiblereset.com. We'll see you next time at greatbiblereset.com.
