Yeah Football game coming up We were going to discuss our second round of our mock draft this week But some more pressing matters came up in the college football community as we got our first look at NC double-a 25 or I think the name is actually College football 25. I think I think you're right Shane, but I would be talking about What we saw in it of the potential Main like player all of the cover athlete of the team Maybe like the like the team ratings and stuff like that all just things like that We're just gonna go over some stuff that we did not get in the game in the original teaser, right? That's a lot. We didn't get a lot of stuff, but we got some pretty amazing stuff to some pretty nice stuff of all the beautiful Rose Bowl in a Pasadena, California and a good look at all the different teams with jerseys and the rivalries of the Traditions because I cannot wait. I've been playing 13 and 14 for the longest time on my 360. Yep. Me too. So it's gonna be a step up it's gonna definitely be better than having to play with the rosters from 14 like outdated Ross like literally 12 and 11 years ago the rosters for those colleges, right? So it's gonna be a weird thing like such a good graphic Calls football game was also gonna be a good change for the fans Like me and you Shane who I've been waiting for this for probably a year now Over over a year the announcement that the game was being made came in 2021 So it has been three years I Also, the game has gotten delayed twice. It was supposed to come out in 2022 didn't come out We all expected it to come out this summer didn't come out didn't come out but now as we coming out This summer or next summer because because it says 25. I hope So for for those that can finally hear us We aren't talking about our mock draft this week some important news in the college football world happened this week and we are going to be talking about the teaser trailer and All of the things about College football 25 the video game. I cannot wait. I cannot wait to start on this 11 years since the last release of a college football game at 2014 2015 And I mean Shane have both of we're talking about the how we have 13 and 14 or just 13 or just 14 It's it's funny how it's all like coming together now and it took so long for a C double-a Twice delayed. Yeah twice delay announced in 2021 delayed from a summer release in 22 and delayed from a summer release in last summer and it's finally coming out this summer and To all the people yes that we're doubting it. They addressed that in the commercial or the trailer. That was pretty nice You know, I want the comments and stuff right there. I love that just because it's like, okay guys, we get it So now it's out. Well, let's be honest if we're being honest. We had our doubts about it coming out this year, too oh, he did because I don't know the National Championship game all the fans are hoping for a commercial a teaser and like there wasn't one Yeah, but there was appointed there was no commercial ready for that game and we should we should have been I'm not smart enough to realize that I know but you know, it's the arrogance I guess we're just a super excited and super ready for a college football game to be back on the platforms I can't wait to have it on my Xbox and set my 360 Yeah, exactly, you know, but it's gonna be weird us in the new graphics on the game. It's gonna be really Like a futuristic so I'm trying to say As compared to graphics from 11 years 12 years ago, right You know why and the graphics are still pretty good for a game that was out in 13 or 14. It's just gonna be weird. Sure It's gonna be kind of weird seeing it though. But where should we start first? I guess just the teaser Yeah, we can go over what? What was going on in the teaser? So it starts out With a wide shot of the Rose Bowl in California. Yeah, my favorite bowl. Actually, I actually love her I love the Rose Bowl. Definitely. I think it's the most iconic. It's right. It's so it's in a Pasadena it's beautiful and I've been named like the Rose Bowl has so much a Historic games in it. So it's also really cool that it's like its own Stadium A lot of ball games can be played in different places, but the Rose Bowl thought it was a UCLA Stadium Yeah, but the name of the stadium is the Rose Bowl. Oh Really So you can play the Rose Bowl In it and the Rose Bowl instead of having like the name be like the Orange Bowl if it's a stadium That's like Miami Stadium. It'll be okay. Wow, but that's really cool learn Yeah, I was trying to think if it was called the Rose Bowl or not, but yeah the first few clips It was a wide shot of the stadium and then it went to a guy that was talking about No, like we know that like even waiting for it Because I just watched it today, so I'm still trying to understand it all but came out yesterday I think it did come on yesterday came out yesterday. I was taking a nap. I woke up It was only like a small nap But it was long enough so that I Didn't really realize that anything had happened and then I woke up and turned something on my phone and It was like right there and I was like 15 minutes ago 15 minutes ago like dang it man. I missed it But yeah, I was a day late I was gonna watch it yesterday, but I was a little bit lazy I was super tired, so I just didn't watch it, but I can't wait I love just like the clip of like the whole stadium so I could feel the seats and then it goes to the guy That's on just doing like the uniforms and stuff like that. Essentially this commercial is Trying to get us excited about it. It's talking about rivalries and comebacks and underdogs and It talks about early Things in development as of right now, which is like it's not really early in development anymore But you can tell there are still a few things that they need to work on right like the mascots and some of the things inside stadiums And like the fans, you know, I hope the fans are Animated and not just they're just in one place Yeah, you know like the 1413 like I just like standing there doing nothing I hope it there's like a booze or it's loud or like the game shakes just like a Madden Well on the bright side of things It looks like they have all of the uniforms done obviously they didn't show all of the uniforms, right? But they had enough done to the point where you could be confident that they either have all of them done Or they're still working on a couple of smaller schools that are going to be in the game Yeah But I can't wait like for all the stadium features as well Shane like I can't wait for like the hill or Just it's like small features like I guess it's like the fan traditions, you know, like the all why not Penn State or I was another tradition. I'm trying to think of one The Clemson touching the rock yeah that or what a lot of Georgia fans out how like Sweet Caroline. Oh, yeah, sweet Caroline and Interstate man for a Virginia Tech, but I can't wait for the game to come out But like what like stood out to you and from the trailer, yeah, you know, like what's it out to you It's tough to say I Think just the fact that there's a confirmation that the game is coming out is what stuck out to me But I really liked I thought the song that they used in the background was perfect Because it's a really good song. Okay, what song was it again? It's You're all I need to make it. I forget who sings that actually the video That's very sorry guys as an ad playing but I'm going to this song or I just in the break I will but I Didn't let me into this song. I guess I was just so like into you know I have showing all the jerseys and talking about the game, but man, I'm excited. I'm everything about this commercial Makes me excited for the game right because It's so close. Now. We're gonna get the official trailer in May, which is Not even three months they're gonna be at home. Yeah, we're gonna be at home summertime, baby And we're gonna get the actual game in early to mid July so we're we're really waiting about Four and a half five months now Probably the most anticipated game of this summer if I had to put a label on it. Yeah more than that in 100% because it's like that is the same thing every year. Yeah, that is Call us football. This is coming back from an 11-year hiatus and not only that but it's one of the most beloved sports franchises in The video game community Especially the sports video games community. That's so ashamed and we cannot But um Going a continuing What else are you looking forward to in this game really looking forward to any updates to Road to glory and What's it called when you take over a Dynasty dynasty. Yeah dynasty I'm hoping for just like an offensive coordinator or like a defensive coordinator and then well, they've had that in in previous. Yeah Yeah, 14, you know, I want to see like the career mode. That's where like you're going to like school and stuff You know like they back at o9. Are you insane? I think I think coastal should be like a 90 or something You got to be kidding me the coastal should be like what a 79 80 overall no, we got grace of a call He left what he's gone. Oh, oh my gosh. I think that makes coastal like it an 80 No, no, I feel like I should be like an 85 what Coastal should be like an 85 or something. Ethan Basco is like No, only a 60 overall quarterback in this game not man. Ethan Basco is gonna be like a JJ McCarthy He's gonna hand the ball off all game. It's gonna work out perfectly. All right agree to disagree. Let's let's get in Okay Realistically here's coastal. That's 77. Yeah realistically 77 to 80 overall for coastal I don't I think coastal could make a surprise run if in a few years, but this year no No, all right best team wait. No, what's your personal for coastal? 79 okay Best team best team I think that Michigan is gonna get rated as the best team because they're the national champs, but I also think Georgia still has a lot of good players on their team and they could also get rated very highly. I Don't know about that one. I feel like Georgia is a great team, but I don't put it should be 99 quite yet I feel like it'd be like 97 or like 96. I'll get that. I don't think they should be like 99 I feel like they could be I feel like them in Michigan are the only two Possible teams that you could make a 99. I feel like their offense holds them back Okay, no, I go to the defense. Of course, like like they're there. I Feel like their offense is holding them back a little bit. Mm-hmm. So I feel like 97 98 I don't think 99 and I get that one like to Michigan just because they won the whole thing It's also funny because if they lost some players, so now they lose their quarterback They're running. Yeah, so I don't most of their offensive lines some defensive guys. I Get and their head coach. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie to you. I think like Georgia is the best I could be a like a 99 team. I don't think they should be They should be if like they won the whole thing or get close to the whole thing Well that all depends on if there's any live updates Throughout the course of the game. Yeah, and then we'll see if Georgia becomes I just don't think they should be quiet yet But I feel like that's a good argument, but I don't think quite yet. Okay agree to disagree. That's true. I think a best team Like this is a really tough for him, but I think it should be like There's no none Michigan just for the sole factor like they won the national champions. It's really tough I don't know if you can do that when half their guys are gonna leave right realistically if we're thinking Georgia's offense isn't good enough and Michigan lost a lot of guys then the highest rated team should be To me the highest rated team should be Texas, Texas You know what I was gonna say Ohio State But I think Texas might be the high because like Washington lost their head coach then like half the team Texas has like their guys coming back Texas has a lot of guys coming back the only guy that I've seen leave and go in the first two rounds is The D tackle and a halfback from Texas. All right. I'm With you. I feel like Texas could be the high rated team, but like Ohio State Could also be the higher like rate of team A little Howard isn't the best a quarterback in the world. I feel like well, you gotta also think that Ohio State did get a lot of transfers. They did but they also lost Marvin Harrison jr I know I was there losing another receiver to the transfer portal. It was their defense could actually be pretty good their defense could be not Elite but pretty good a tear down from elite. Yeah, so I'm pretty good Well, I think if Michigan is the highest rated team, so do I which could change the change instantly? All right. Let's talk about the lowest rated team in the game And that's a tough one. Oh lowest rated team. I don't even know that one. You know, I think they're gonna have a couple of FCS Level schools like what if um, we're lower division one is the North Who that team North Dakota State? They could be the lowest overall for sure but they're they're in a Division one division now they are. Mm-hmm. So really it's safe to say that neither of us know who The worst team in the game is going to be if I had to venture some sort. Oh, I got one Okay Kent State Kent State. Yeah, they were oh and 12 That that's the only reason I I Don't know any low-rated teams. I'm just gonna agree with you or UConn UConn could be I don't even know if UConn is even gonna be in this game. Oh, yeah My mom just said the South Carolina game call see the lowest South Carolina game Oh, I would say be a lowest but no, I think it could be like a Kent State or Toledo or UConn but still I doesn't really matter like yeah, you know who's gonna play Yeah, who's gonna pick the lowest rated team in the game except for the fans of the team, which is not many. Yeah, or Snort ah Good Mexico State, New Mexico, New Mexico State. I was just thinking New Mexico State the Lobos Oh, yeah, they played it like the robbery game and then like it was like them Oh, like the most exciting game of the century of the under it was like a like the over under was like Could possibly be more points. It could possibly be Arizona State. Really? They're really that bad I think they won a couple of games that they shouldn't have won, but they're not a They they're not as good of a football program as they once were. Yeah, I don't really think they'll ever be And you know, like, you know, it's funny. They were like, oh, yeah Jaden Daniels, you know, we don't need them. We don't need Jaden Daniels Right and they had a Brandon Iuke Is that crazy? Yeah, I you well, he actually did well there. He did really why he got drafted So I think he was in the second round. I Would love to say I would love to say that they're going to be super highly rated but I think It's going to be like a 92 overall I I'm I'm there. I agree with you because I feel like Penn State is looking outside the tilt Or the 12 team playoffs and they are right there like right like I think they're gonna be a top 12 team Rated wise, but I don't think they're good I think they'll be like 11 or 12 of those teams and they could get a first-round exit if they who knows though Like you never know format in the game. You never know But I know it's like only a one overall difference between you and I but I just and stays, you know, they're No, I mean in what we think Clemson should be Yeah, like I I know it's only one overall different, but I feel like 88 could be generous depending on Who Who starts on your defense and how they perform next year? Yeah, they have to mod a 12 team playoff into the thing and I I know that's not easy because the last time the game was made Prior to the one that's coming out. It was still the BCS. Yeah It was a top two teams, so I know why no room for a Underdog a team I guess is that you want to call it but I Feel it. I think I I think it should be like the one One two, so why the home field been it's okay. So let's start with this. I feel like the one two Seats should get a like by week they do I think they do in in in the actual playoff format I think they do. Okay, is it I think it's the first four teams first four. So it's like the original playoff teams Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay. So it's the first four I think and then 512 Right. Mm-hmm. 512 6 11 4 or no 7 10 8 9 And then it's like it's like the NBA playoffs, you know a home field bench, but like just the best I don't think they I feel like these are all gonna be Bowl games so I know I don't think there's a home court advantage or a home field advantage Really do you think they should have one? I mean, I think it should be whoever Whichever team gets chosen to wear the home uniforms in the game. That's who should get home field advantage Yeah, I think like like in real life realistically, there will be no home field advantage But if you can figure out a way to put home field advantage in the game for like an addition. Mm-hmm Yeah, I don't know if it works in the playoff But if if you can do that in regular season games, that would be and that would be really cool, right? especially like important games like whiteout games and oh I just thought about that. So I let's say like this Penn State playing Clemson for example and like it's six Penn State and 12 No, say it's like Penn State in Happy Valley Against Clemson during the regular season and it's a whiteout. Yeah regular season. Mm-hmm man, that'd be really cool to put like a full season on like your favorite team and see it, you know what the traditions and then like play in the 12 team playoff and then Yeah, I'm really excited for this. Yeah, I'm super excited. Like I wish it was July right now But yeah, that'd be really cool to see Just kind of what like they do it with the home field. I think it's gonna be bowl games though. Yeah, I agree I think I think it's actually just bowl games in real life Yeah, but if they figure out like If they screw something up in development Which I am a hundred percent confident that they could do it may end up very well that you have a home field advantage in Those playoff games, right? By accident. Yeah, it could be. Okay, so like Like let's say that how they fix it like to where it's just like the home or Like just the bowl games how like it is in real life. They could have like an additional game mode that or or like Well, here's the way I see it shut up in in terms of game modes They're gonna have dynasty road to glory play regular games Historic moments because there are so many guys That play college that played college football Yeah, that didn't really turn out in the NFL and they would weigh much rather Sign on for a college football game than an NFL game, right? So I think that's definitely a possibility of them having Historic moments like Tim Tebow He's basically synonymous with college football. He is calls football Mm-hmm, and it's a football, you know when you think about his NFL career you think about one good season and then then kind of Nothing a tied in for a few games with Jaguars. No, it's not it and he got cut. Oh, yeah I'm cutting the preseason. Hey, man, but yeah, I agree with you. I feel like they should have Like I was like you could play with like the old players. Yeah. Well, that's what I think it's gonna be Like I think it's gonna be you taking control of an older player and like important games of their career in college football Wow, I imagine playing I think they had that back in the day in 14 and 13. Oh, yeah, Trace McSorley Trace McSorley, I Can't even realistically say that he's like a college legend. I think he's just like a Penn State legend And that's partly because he played with say Kwon. Yes a Kwon but no That do I was a leech and it was a lead do well You had two running threats in the backfield and Trace McSorley didn't have a pro arm, but he was very accurate and You just found guys right You know, I'm just thinking of the Heisman, you know all the all the No idea awards and stuff like that could be like one. I'm sorry. I change up the topic. I just thought about that Well, they could have like a Heisman winner mode Yeah, instead of like a legends mode where you play from a legends career. You could play from the Heisman winner Perspective like a Charles Woodson like a Lamar Jackson or Jackson Savante Smith a Baker Mayfield, you know what players like that. It's just like how I play like in their career or just but I guess You know, I've heard the glory had like a Heisman's and the bowl game. I'm it, you know, like a Different a small awards. So I think It's like the same format, but I guess that's a different a game mode, yeah, you know and I think something that we need to touch on is The cover athlete the cover athlete. I Think that there is a difference between who it's going to probably be and who it should be Yeah, me and Shane are both thinking it could be killed Williams, right?
