Piper High School has a great support system with counselors who help students with scheduling, building trust, and providing moral support. They also assist with college applications. Students are encouraged to report any bullying, even online, anonymously if they prefer. The school offers various athletic programs, an orchestra, and a high percentage of students take the SAT. Overall, Piper High School provides a positive environment with dedicated teachers and coaches. Hello, my name is Jose Hurtado and I will be talking about building relationships at Piper High School. The first thing I will be talking about today is the amazing counselors at Piper High School. Here at Piper we currently have five counselors and it all depends on your last name. But what the counselors help with is making and fixing student schedules and making sure every student likes them. Not only that, but they are also there if students need breaks or an adult to trust. The counselors are also there for moral support. Not only that, but if a student ever needs information about applying to colleges, this happens usually during junior and senior year, but you can go to the academic and career advisor which is Miss Control. If you or any of the students are getting bullied, report it. Any type of bullying, even if it's online, it is better to report than just let it happen. At Piper, if you don't want to cause a snitch, you can report it and be anonymous. And no, it is not a face or kids being kids. If you're being bullied or someone you know is being bullied, just report it. Piper High School also offers about 15 athletic programs, an abandoned orchestra program, and about 97% of the students take the SAT. Apart from all the amazing ways to make new friends and be good classmates, there's an amazing campus with a lot of wonderful teachers and coaches.
