During their earlier years, the person was able to achieve freedom by completing their language classes early and choosing additional science courses as electives. This allowed them to have more free periods in their senior year and take part in work-based learning. Doing my work in my earlier years led to freedom because I got my language classes out of the way early and took extra sciences as electives, so I had the chance to have more free periods my senior year to be able to do work-based learning.
