Nothing to say, yet
The person recalls their first soccer game as a child, where their family watched Club America from Mexico play against River Plate from Argentina. They took the bus to the game, and the person remembers the smell of the hot dog stands and the sea of yellow and blue colors. They felt overwhelmed by the large crowd and noise, hiding their head in their mom's arms. But when their team scored, they got excited and started enjoying the game. Since then, they have fallen in love with soccer and watch matches regularly, sometimes preferring to watch at home. When I was two years old, my parents took me and my brother to our first ever soccer game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It was a match featuring my family's favorite team, Club America from Mexico, playing against River Plate from Argentina. My family took the bus to get to the game, because we didn't have a car at the time. I can still smell the sand from the hot dog stands, and I can still picture the sea of yellow and blue around the stadium due to those being the colors of my family's team. I felt overwhelmed by it, because it was my first time ever being surrounded by that many people in such gigantic space with so many noises from drums and trumpets. I ended up hiding my head within my mom's arms, because I couldn't handle all the noise. It wasn't until our team scored the first goal of the game that I got spooked by so many people yelling, which led my mom to pick my head up and encourage me to yell out goal in celebration. At that moment, it all kind of clicked, and I started to feel more comfortable with my surroundings and started to enjoy what I was watching. I eventually fell in love with the sport, and while they can get a bit rowdy for me, I watch every match I can, and sometimes, I would rather watch in the quiet comfort of my own home.
