Daniel was an 11-year-old boy who lived with his elderly grandma in a small cottage in the middle of a Scottish farm. Daniel loved exploring the countryside when he could. One day, whilst on one of his adventures, he gets lost in a weird looking forest. He thought he saw something lurking in the dark, but thankfully he ran away. He ran for ages and ended up finding a house made of gingerbread. He knocks on the door and asks, Hello, do you have any food for me? Yay! Do come in please. Said Cody, the very old owner, in a ghastly voice. Daniel stepped carefully into the house and sat down at the table whilst eating a gingerbread chair. Cody asked slightly, What would you like to eat? Daniel replied nervously, Oh yes please, may I have some eggs with bacon? Cody then went to make some food for Daniel. And then Leanne, Cody's beautiful granddaughter, came downstairs with a mouth full of food. Hello, she mumbled. Hello, Daniel hesitated, struck by her beauty. Leanne marched up to Daniel and shouted, Get out of my house! Cody despairingly said, No, no, let him stay, he's hungry and homeless. Oh, okay, hissed Leanne. Cody finally gave him the bacon and eggs. After Daniel ate the food, Cody cackled, I don't believe it. Daniel shrieked, Oh no! He grabbed his throat desperately, his eyes widened, he turned blue and finally he collapsed. Daniel was dead. The End This has been a Wival Podcast production.
