In this podcast episode about the book "The Ballad of Ron Wallis," the trial continues with witnesses accusing Ron Wallis of being a drunk and violent man. However, it is revealed that these witnesses were paid by Thomas Foster's father. Another witness, a hitman hired by Thomas Foster, accidentally killed Thomas instead of Ron. Ron and Thomas's father help Ron escape, but he is eventually caught by the townspeople. Surprisingly, Ron is found innocent, while Thomas's father is found guilty of trying to kill Ron. Thomas's father is forced to leave town. Ron becomes a hero in the town, living a good life with his family, but still misses Thomas. The hitman is found guilty for killing Thomas and goes to jail, but eventually starts a new life in another town. Ron keeps a picture of Thomas in his house. Hi everyone, how are you? This is our podcast about the ballot of Ron Wallis and in this episode we're going to analyze chapter 9, 10, 11 and 12 from the book. So well, first things first, we are like in the second day of the trial and a lot of witnesses say that Ron Wallis was a drunk man, that he was quite violent when he was drunk and that he was something like always behind Thomas Foster Jr. and like Thomas Foster Jr. felt really really uncomfortable with Ron Wallis around him. That obviously isn't true but that was what the witnesses say and we understand that evidently the witnesses were paid by Thomas Foster's father but in this case there is another witness that is the hitman that Thomas Foster just paid to kill Ron Wallis and this hitman just says that he has the obligation to kill Ron Wallis but that he by accident just killed Thomas Foster Jr. and then evidently the trial starts to feel really really weird but at that time the father already helped Ron Wallis to escape also with the help of Sherry Williams because they didn't think that Ron Wallis was guilty about anything so when Thomas Foster's father was in the trial being judged for trying to kill Ron Wallis Ron Wallis and the father were in the house of Thomas Foster taking some money to escape and also they take a horse for Ron's escape and the father gave him a gun then Ron Wallis starts to escape but at that time the people of the town were already outside of the court and they are searching for Ron Wallis because they know that Ron Wallis escaped they finally trap Ron Wallis but besides what we could think they don't hang Ron Wallis because finally Ron Wallis was found innocent or the charge that they put to him and in the other way Thomas Foster was found guilty for trying to kill Ron Wallis and finally Thomas Foster need to move of the town and go to another town to start a new life because no one in Cripple Creek like him anymore then in the town obviously Ron Wallis start to being like a hero because he was the man that deserved so powerful man like Thomas Foster and everyone start to love him he will never be rich but he was a free black deaf man that was middle class and had a good life, had kids, had children, a wife and everything like that but he always miss a lot Thomas Foster Jr. and he remember him like such a good friend and well in fact like his best friend because he really really understand him and the hitman obviously was, he wasn't hanged because he was just being paid by Thomas Foster but in fact he was obviously found guilty for kill Thomas Foster Jr. and he was, well he need to go to the jail obviously so yeah he was in the jail a lot of time but finally he got out of the jail and also go out of the town to another town to create a new life and yeah that's all of the story of Ron Wallis, Ron Wallis now have a family but he always miss Thomas Foster Jr. and he even has a picture of him in his house and everything about him is incredible because he is literally the hero of the town so yeah thank you for watching this episode and I hope see you soon, see you later
