Nothing to say, yet
Isabella interviews her little brother, Augustine, about the Eucharist. Augustine attends school mass and Sunday mass, but sometimes his mind wanders during the sacrament. To prepare, he mentally refocuses and looks at the priest. Augustine had a good experience after confession, feeling holy and full of grace. After receiving the sacrament, he feels cleansed of sin and good about himself for doing what's right. Isabella believes that as Augustine grows up, he will better understand and appreciate the value of the Eucharist. This is Isabella, and I'm going to be asking my little brother a couple questions about the Eucharist. Um, Augustine, do you normally receive the sacrament? Yes, uh, I go at school mass, and I go to mass on Sunday, and yeah. Okay, and what are your feelings about the Eucharist, usually, before you receive it? Well, sometimes my mind wanders around, and sometimes I don't focus on the sacrament as much. Okay. Um, what do you do to prepare yourself to receive the sacrament? Um, I usually just, um, just mentally refocus and just look at the priest. Okay. And look at my hand. Good answer. Can you think of a particularly good experience of the sacrament that you have had? I had one good experience when I was just out of confession, and it just made me feel really holy after I received the Eucharist, and purified. What made it especially good? That I was full of grace in that moment. Okay. How do you usually feel after receiving the sacrament? I feel cleansed of sin, and I feel good about myself. Okay. For doing what's right. Yep. This is Isabella, and I'm going to be talking about the interview I did with my little brother, Augustine. Um, I think that since he's a little bit too young, he kind of doesn't understand fully how he should, like, participate in the Mass, or should view the sacrament of the Eucharist. But I think as he grows up, he'll start to understand it more and start to appreciate its value a lot more.
