To achieve good success, believers should meditate on the Word, seek God's will, and put Him first in everything. Trusting and obeying God will lead to a successful and fulfilling life. Thank you for yet another opportunity to study your word. Our Father, we pray that you make our hearts fertile to receive this word and grant us the grace to apply it in our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen. Brethren, let's take our confession from the book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not depart from my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Our topic for today is titled, Good Success. Good Success. And our scripture reading is taken from Proverbs, chapter 4, verse 18. But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. Amen. Our second scripture is taken from the book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not depart from your mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Good Success. Beloved, when we follow the Lord, He makes our paths beautiful. The path of the righteous is one of many blessings and great peace. There is a certain expectation in the world to be successful, and success is often defined in many ways. The abundance of riches, fame, luxury, influence, power, popularity, among others. These are some parameters the world defines us by and consider as successful. Oftentimes, we spend our entire lives chasing after these expectations, even at the expense of losing our souls, only to fall into deep regrets at the latter part of our lives, because we couldn't find fulfillment in them. True success, however, is what God considers successful. One that is stamped and approved by Him. One that is obtained when a believer is deeply established in the Word and is modeling the Christ-like life. Beloved, it is God who created the world and He called it good. He is the one who has said, if we meditate on the Word and abide by it, we will make our way prosperous, and we will have good success. You are truly successful when you are living to please God. When you are truly seeking the kingdom and its righteousness, allowing God to be the center of your life, He will bless you and add no sorrow to it. Brethren, let us not follow after the wealth definition of success. Let us learn to trust and obey God. He is able to bless us. He will give us righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Let us put God first in everything we do. Let us seek His will, meditate on His Word, obey His Word, and He will make our life successful. Today, let us seek His kingdom first, and we will have the kind of success that He calls good success. Amen. Our memory verse is taken from Proverbs chapter 3 verse 5 to 6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Amen. Please let us pray. Father, we thank you for this reminder that it is only when we live to abide by Your Word and Your ways that we will have the kind of success that You call good. We pray for the grace to obey You. We pray for the empowerment to be led by the Spirit today, and we pray for the courage to not follow what the world considers to be successful, but leaning and trust You, acknowledging You in all our ways, that You may direct our paths and make our way prosperous.
