In this morning devotion, the speaker discusses the importance of fixing our eyes on Jesus and turning away from the storms of life. He uses the example of Peter walking on water to emphasize that focusing on Jesus can lead to success even in difficult situations. The speaker encourages listeners to pray and seek God's help and reminds them that it's never too late to cry out to Jesus for salvation. The memory verse from Psalm 34:5 encourages people to turn their eyes to God for light and not be ashamed. The devotion ends with a prayer for God's guidance and a reminder to stay tuned for more content on Radio ACI. A blessed morning to you dear one. It is always a joy to have you join us every morning for our prayer times and our morning glory devotion. Broadcasting this morning's devotion is Ohenebakosikensford. Let's pray shortly. Thank you Father for this new day. We ask that you speak to our understanding as we go into your Word. In Jesus name, Amen. Let's kindly take a confession from the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I shall make my way prosperous, and then I shall have good success. Amen. God bless you so much. Our topic for today's devotion is fix your eyes on Jesus. And we'll be reading from Matthew chapter 14 verse 29 to verse Matthew chapter 14 verse 29 to verse 30. Reading from the New King James Version. So he said, come. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me. Amen. Fix your eyes on Jesus. The wind was already boisterous when Jesus called Peter to walk on the sea. Yet at the word of Jesus, Peter was able to do the impossible. The scripture said that he walked towards Jesus, meaning that he had Jesus in his view. And so far as he had his eyes fixed on Jesus, he succeeded in his adventure, despite the turbulence that was all about him. Beloved, the success of our lives depends so much on the things we give our attention to. Like Peter, looking at what is in our world today can cause you to lose hope. When you consider how great the task ahead of you is and how impossible it is for you to make it in that project, you will throw in the towel. You will begin to sink. The only way to walk through life in spite of the storms is to turn away from what the world is saying and look to Jesus in his word. It is on your knees, beloved, where you turn from the impossibilities of life and fix your eyes on Jesus. Maybe like Peter, you are focused on the storms and you are already sinking in fear and hopelessness. It's not too late for you, dear one. You can cry out, Lord, save me and Jesus will save you indeed. Amen. Our memory verse today will be taken from the book of Psalm 34 verse 5, reading from the Bible in basic English translation. Let your eyes be turned to him and you will have light and your faces will not be ashamed. Let your eyes be turned to him and you will have light and your faces will not be ashamed. Amen. Let's kindly pray. Thank you so much, Father, for your word. We pray that you help us abide in it today and beyond. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Thank you so much and God bless you for staying through with us to this point. Continue to stay tuned to Radio ACI today for more refreshing content. Stay fruitful. Shalom.
