Brother Ernest of Harvest Chapel International Kumasi leads a morning prayer session, emphasizing the importance of enduring in hope. He encourages believers to hold onto their faith and trust in God's promises, even when they may seem delayed or unlikely. Endurance builds character and resilience, and ultimately leads to the fulfillment of God's promises. The key is to remain obedient to God's word and diligent in service. The session concludes with a prayer for strength and guidance. Salam beloved and God bless you so much for making time again to join us for today's prayer start-up session. We believe strongly that God is really working things in our favor. Amen. My name is Brother Ernest of Harvest Chapel International Kumasi. I'm privileged to be sharing with us for today's morning glory devotion. Let's kindly take a word of prayer. Father we thank you for another blessed day like this and for the privilege to share fellowship with you. We pray oh God let your word come to bless to inspire and to grant us new strength in the name of Jesus Christ. We will receive guidance for today and for the days ahead of us in the name of Jesus Christ we pray with all thanksgiving. Amen. Let us kindly take our confession from Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth but I shall meditate in it day and night that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it for then I will make my way prosperous and then I will have good success. Amen. Beloved our title for today's morning glory devotion session is Enduring in Hope. Enduring in Hope. We'll take a scripture reference from Hebrews chapter 6 verse 9 to 12. Hebrews chapter 6 verse 9 to 12 reading from the NLT version. Dear friends even though we are talking this way we really don't believe it applies to you. We are confident that you are meant for better things. Things that come with salvation for God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers as you still do. Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead you would follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance. Amen. Beloved our Father always knows how best to inspire us towards better things in Christ. There are times when he will spoon feed us with instant answered prayer and provisions. Other times when he will have us build some more muscles and capacity to sustain our next level blessings. Many a times we don't easily see the end goal of the promises of God but that's why we hold on to our hope. Our hope in God is a sure one because it is based on his word which cannot fail. If God has said it then he would definitely do it even though in our own perspective of time it may seem delayed or unlikely. His promised word to you will always come to pass. But just as our expectations keep growing so must our faith with the virtue of patiently waiting on them to be fulfilled. The caution however is to not become sluggish, weak or weary in our pursuit of God to lay hold of his promises to us so that ultimately our faith will not fail. So then patiently enduring through the waiting season with our focus on God produces character and resilience in us. This endurance is an exercise in godliness and a quality expression of our unwavering faith in God. It is a necessary testing of our faith that ensures that we are growing stronger in the Lord. We learn to have complete dependence on God and gain power to overcome the increasing and snaring pressures of the world around us. It requires our consistent obedience to the word of God and continual diligence in our service and labors of life Afterwards, like the Bible testifies of Abraham in Hebrews chapter 6 verse 15, we will see the goodness of the Lord in the fulfillment of all his promises to us. You can be certain that his word concerning you will never fail but surely come to pass. Only endure for a while. Amen. We take our memory verse from Hebrews chapter 6 verse 12. Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance. Amen. Please let's pray. Father, we thank you for the encouraging words of truth. We pray, Lord, that you grant us the grace, the strength, and the boldness to remain consistent in our faith and to hold on to our hope in you. Lord, we pray that you help us to overcome all the trials, the temptations of God, and the uncertainties of the time in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that you continue to guide us and that we continue to walk in the light of your word. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray with all thanksgiving. Amen. Beloved, God bless you so much for joining us for today's morning glory devotion session. We pray that you continue to have a blessed and a fruitful day until we come your way again same time tomorrow. Shalom.
