The podcast host discusses the Culpable podcast and the case of Alana Raffield. She questions how far one would go to seek justice for a loved one who has been wronged. Alana's stepfather finds her lifeless body in the garage and suspects foul play. The investigation reveals that Alana had a relationship with an 18-year-old when she was 14. He admitted to hacking her social media accounts and sending disturbing messages. He also had a video on his phone on how to make a murder look like a suicide. The circumstances of Alana's death raise many questions, including the positioning of her body and the absence of gunshot sounds. The family is devastated and shocked by the lack of thorough investigation and the suggestion that they clean up the crime scene themselves. Hello, hello, welcome to the Screaming in Silence podcast. My name is Harper Drew, and I'm just a girl with a lot of questions, wants to form a lot of connection, and get a lot of answers. That's all. That's all I'm here for. That's it. Okay. So I want to go ahead. I'm going to jump right in. Disclaimer. Everything I talk about, every bit of commentary is of public knowledge. And so please, you can do the research yourself, form your own opinion. And everyone's innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. What else? Oh, I have no verbal filter at times, and sometimes I can't control my facial expression. So if you're watching via Rumble, my apologies. Okay. So we're going to go ahead and dive right in. What brings us here today is Culpable, the podcast, because Chef's Kiss, absolutely phenomenal. And yes, I know, I'm a little bit tardy to this party, but calm down. It was absolutely amazing. And it just made me question, how hard would you fight? How long would you fight? Who would you fight? When it comes to your baby or when it comes to a loved one, and you feel as though they've been done wrong after the fact, after their life, what would you do? And I was so sad for the Andracchio family and everything they've been put through, so wrong, just absolutely not okay. And I was thinking, oh my gosh, that's horrible. It's a good thing that it doesn't happen, you know, other places. No. Nay, nay. Yes, it does. Oh, it absolutely does, because the case of Alana Raffield popped up on my feed. And I clicked on the link, because honestly, she looks a lot like my oldest daughter. And I was like, oh my goodness, what's this girl doing? I don't know. I'm weird. Anyway, so I clicked on it, and her story, somewhat, in a sense, it hit me kind of like the Andracchio case, just a little bit. And so I wanted to talk about it. I want to be the person that I need or I needed in that part and time in my life. And so after hearing Alana's case, and it being two years ago that this took place, I really kind of wanted to be that person that could hopefully spread her name, the word, you know, just get it out there, so that maybe more people can be a sounding board and can be a support system for Kevin and Heather Williams, which are Alana's parents. So let's go ahead and get started. I'm going to take you to Prague, Oklahoma. Okay? You may see some red flags along the way, but if you'll just stick with me, you'll probably see more. Anyway, December 8th, 2020, it's like any other morning, or so it seems. And then Kevin Williams, which is Alana's stepfather, is completely startled by the sound of his wife screaming from the garage. And so, of course, he runs that way, and nothing could prepare him for what he was about to come into. He could never have imagined he would be running into their garage, and his wife would be holding their baby girl in her arms, cradling her lifeless body. Even in that state of shock, Kevin was still able to call 911 and get dispatched there immediately to the scene. And what must have felt like an eternity, Kevin was able to take his focus off of the devastation that was right before him, his wife holding their baby girl, and he's looking around and he's observing his surroundings, observing the environment in which Alana is in, and possibly was in when she died, and nothing is really adding up. He's really having a lot of questions, and it doesn't seem like he's the only one. As investigators, or I believe investigator, arrives, he asks many times over, which hand was Alana Dominant in, left or right, and did she happen to have any altercations with anybody the night before that you're aware of, did she have any enemies, anything like that, and they're like, no altercations that we're aware of, and there, you know, there is though, this one situation with this one young man that you may want to look into, may or may not, you know, go for it, and it's a good thing they did because once looking into it, they have this 18-year-old gentleman, okay, you know, in relations or whatnot with Alana who, mind you, is 14 at this time, 20 days shy of her 15th birthday, but however we are 14 still at this time, okay, it's not a good look, it's not great, okay, it's not looking good, but that's not even the ugly part of it, okay? The ugly part of it is the fact that when, and I'm not going to name him because he's not been found guilty in anything, and he's not been in any type of, I don't believe, criminal trouble, so I'm not going to say his name, but you know who you are, which okay, if you hear this, you know who you are, but anyway, so there was one day that popped up, and when they're, you know, asking this individual some questions, well, he's very forthcoming in some aspects of it, he's forthcoming, he's like, hey, yeah, I did, I hacked into her social media accounts, and I sent some very cryptic and quite disturbing messages from her accounts to other young ladies from her school, yeah, I did that, this is what they say he admitted to, so don't, mm-mm, and then, okay, now let's get a little bit uglier here, they're like, okay, man, that's not looking great for you, but, anything else? He's like, well, you're, this is, you're going to find this to be funny, these are not exact quotes, this is just me talking here, but, he's like, you're going to find this funny, you're going to, there's a video on my phone, and you're probably going to wonder why, and they did, and so did Alana's parents, because it was a video on how to make a murder look like a suicide, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, what, I'm sorry, what was that? One more time into my good ear, because that is just, what, okay, so, mm, we'll go ahead and we'll leave him over there for just a moment, and let's look at the other oddities that fall into what took place, okay, on this very disturbing December 8th morning, okay, so, Kevin, as he's walking up, he notices that Alana's placement on the ground, or how she is, is flat on her back, like somewhat, just kind of, she was laying flat on her back, and there was a pistol that was found eight feet away from her body, there's really no gun splatter at all, and we're talking about a pretty small home here, pretty small environment, I'm saying you would hear a gunshot, okay, your neighbor's neighbor's neighbor would hear a gunshot, they would, you would hear a gunshot, no one heard a gunshot, okay, because Alana was, there was an entry wound to the left side of her head, and there was an exit wound, I believe, out the right, no bullet was ever found, I believe one shell casing was found, and correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think it was ever tested, because they never knew, from what I know now, they're unclear as to whether the gun found at the scene is even the gun that was used, what, what is happening right now, right, am I right, I feel crazy, what, Alana's right-handed, she's right-handed, and then, well, the altercation question that kept coming up, well, it was coming up because Alana had bruising on her abdomen that no one could really explain, even when I think the investigator said that pistol would have been way, you know, too heavy for her to even handle, and then came up with, well, she must have been holding it with her right and did this with her left and then supported it with her right, and it's like, what, calm down, okay, Sherlock, you're jumping a little bit far, so they bagged up Alana's hands, and the coroner or the medical examiner is there and takes Alana's body, and so you have this family, right, and they're just so blindsided, like, what just happened, no note, no signs of any type of self-harm or wanting to harm herself or harm anybody else, signs of depression, she showed no signs of someone who may be in that mindset, okay, she was a very happy girl, what devastated me was watching the news clip and watching her mother, Heather, looking down on the ground in Alana's room, and there's her cheer uniform, and Heather's like, I can't, I can't, I can't pick it up, I don't know if I ever will be able to pick it up, could you? I would not, I don't think I would be able to, I don't think I would be able to either, and that just devastated me, so while they're in the state of mourning and they're having to bury their baby, you're not sitting here thinking to yourself, I'm gonna have to play lead detective in a minute, let me go ahead and mourn and grieve and do all this, and then I'm gonna have to come over here and I'm gonna have to play lead detective on my own child's case, no one's thinking that, you're thinking that the authorities are going to handle this to the best of their ability, and that they're going to take your daughter's case as serious as they would their own, or their own family member, that's what you're anticipating, that's what you're thinking, but it's alarming how so many times that just doesn't seem to be the case, now not all the time, I have many friends who are in law enforcement, all that type of stuff, okay, they have amazing hearts, and when they are on the job, their heart is in the right place, I just don't know, I just don't see that in every case though, obviously, but there's a lot of questions, and Kevin and Heather were really unable to communicate about what had taken place, obviously, because it was so traumatizing, I mean, and let's just add a little salt to this injury, once they were, it was a pretty like quick investigation, and when it came to crime scene cleanup, yes, they were like, they were like, the family can do it, I'm sorry, you are out of your ever-loving mind, I mean, literally, had it been Heather, I would have been like, I don't look good in orange, I don't look good in orange, I don't look good in orange, because, oh my goodness, and now, insult to injury here, there wasn't much of a mess to clean up, which was odd, with it being a, you know, a gun-inflicted injury to the head, a little odd, you know, there wasn't much to clean up, but I'm pretty sure that's not what they're gonna want to do next on their schedule for the day, freaking disgusting human being, so rude, so they, oh, they're going through all this stuff, they're expecting for the investigators to do what they're supposed to be doing, and they have all these questions, finally, Heather and Kevin are able to hold down a conversation, and they're both kind of feeling a little bit less crazy, when they both are very much like, I don't like this part, this was handled very weird, I have questions on this, what's happening here, I mean, they really were both, they had more questions than answers, obviously, and they wanted these questions answered. So, it's just weird, sometimes, how when you're in these types of situations, or when you're in these small communities, and you'll have that good old boy system going for you, or sometimes you'll just have someone who makes an error in judgment, and doesn't want to ever admit to wrongdoing, or be called out for, you know, making an uh-oh, I guess you could say, because, I mean, on the medical examiner's report, I believe it says suicide, and on the death certificate, I believe it says unknown, something of that magnitude, and they're like, there's all these other boxes you can check off, other than suicide, on the medical examiner's part, there's other boxes, but you just go right to suicide, why is that? Why are you jumping just right to suicide? You know? But, when you have so little to go off of, like, no gunshot powder residue testing, done on Alana's hands, or on her head, or on Kevin, or on Heather, or on, what's his name? Yeah, no. They bagged Alana's hands that morning, but there was no testing done. What is, oh, what is happening right now? I just don't even know. I don't even know what to do. What in the absolute, and again, they don't even know if that gun there at the scene was the one that was used in this incident, but as Kevin began to ask questions to other professionals that were not a part of this investigation, but professionals that he knew outside of this area, and even the positioning of her body, it looked as if she had been positioned there, not that she had performed this act and fallen down into a pile, as some may describe it, and more times than not, the weapon's not going to be found eight feet away from her body. I don't believe. I could be wrong, but I'm just saying. And then, you have an exit wound, but there's no bullet, and there's no ballistics done. So, of course, there's more questions than answers. So, I want to spread this message, because this is absolutely insane. I believe Heather and Kevin have filed a wrongful death suit, and hopefully this is taking some progression in the right path, on the right way, because it's been handled very not great, just not great, okay? And it's just not right. When you're already having to mourn the loss of your child, you should not have to also clean up a crime scene, and have to fight for her belongings back, and have to fight for a further investigation to be done. That, I can't imagine. So, I wanted to put this out here, just as a real quick little glimpse into Alana Raffel's case, and what her mother, Heather, and what her father, Kevin, have been going through for over two years now. They just want their daughter's case to be heard, and they just want for people to have their back in asking questions, and in having some action be taken, not for themselves, but for Alana, because that evening, if she were to have wanted to do that, she was out letting her puppy out, you know, she would do that. She had a new puppy, she would let that puppy out throughout the night. That was a normal thing for her, and if she was wanting to commit such a heinous act like this on herself, there was no note, and she had previously had surgery, so she had a way of getting a hold of medication if she were wanting to end her life. I don't see her going in and handling this really heavy pistol, and like, getting, using this hand, and doing this, but more than that, the garage door was left open, and it was, I think, 27 degrees and snowing outside. She wouldn't have done that to her puppy. She would not have just left the garage door open. She would not have just left her puppy outside in the cold. She would not have done that, and it's things like that that add up to the biggest question of all. What really happened? What really happened? And it takes a tribe, and I don't think it takes a tribe just in raising kids. I think it takes a tribe in supporting each other, and I think it takes a tribe in using our voices for others to be heard, and not be silenced. That's what this is all about. So until next time, guys, thank you so much for listening, and I will get to see you soon, hopefully, on Rumble, and hopefully you'll get to hear my other podcast that's coming up soon on any podcast platform that you listen to your podcast on. Please be safe, be you, and know that you are loved. Bye.
