That was where the streets have no name. This is Hans from Stanford, Washington And these are five U2 songs I desire most on U2x radio Chapter two One when I was nine years old I had a paper route that passed by an Irish green expresso stand Which in that time was the early beginnings of coffee expresso stand rush in Washington State kind of like the gold rush in California and Ironically coincided with the grunge movement the owners names were Victor and Jane Victor was an immigrant from Ireland and Jane grew up in the United States yet born in Wales each day I would pass by their cart with little odd jobs Bringing in a sign for example from the corner of the street and in return they gave me Italian sodas Victor and Jane would help me learn the art of hard work the importance of customer service and love for others Even if that means we may disagree as Years went on I would work with them at horse shows at Marymoor Park serving riders drinks and yes horses carrots Ultimately, they upgraded from an expresso stand to a coffee shop and named it Victor's coffee company Even though I didn't and still don't drink coffee They let me work for them because they became my second parents They cared for me taught me what I needed to learn about love Integrity and even they gave me advice about girls I liked Declan who's Victor's brother would visit from Ireland time to time Always the first week when Declan came from Ireland. I couldn't understand a word that came out of his mouth He was like an uncle to me. I'm sure I was a royal pain at times, but they loved me Unconditionally when I left for my church mission to coma Aguero, Honduras They sold Victor's coffee company and moved to Oregon where they opened up Sleepy Monk coffee and also an antique store Victor taught me the art of roasting coffee I'll never forget what he taught me that a good roast needs nurturing attention and not to be rushed things may be difficult But showing love will always develop into positive results. So to you Victor and Jane the second song I desire most one
