DJ Hannah Banana interviews a guest named Gary, who initially had negative thoughts about the team becoming integrated with new players and an African-American coach. However, after getting to know the players and coach, Gary changed his opinion and realized the potential they had. He believes the team greatly benefited from the new members and formed strong friendships both on and off the field. If he could go back, Gary would advise himself to have an open mind and not judge a book by its cover. Welcome back to DJ Hannah Banana's Hour of Revealing Secrets and Spitting Out Juicy Chats, with weekly special guests. This week I'm here with House of the Sweetheart, Gary. So, welcome to the show Gary, how are you today? I'm feeling very good, thank you very much. Okay, so, my first question for you is what were your first thoughts on the team becoming integrated as a captain? Firstly Hannah, I wasn't happy. I remember being infuriated with the thought that not only there being new players, but an African-American coach replacing my old coach. Very interesting. Okay, so, what made you change your opinion? When I got to know the players, when I realised the potential as players and as people, they helped the team grow. And they helped me grow as a person. Wow. They opened my mind up. Yeah, that's amazing. So, do you think the team benefited from its new members and coach? Oh, greatly. The team not only impressed on the field, but off the field as friends. Wow. What would you say to yourself about the team's integrating, if you could go back? I'd say have an open mind. Don't jump to conclusions or judge a book by its cover. So true, so true. Okay, so, that's it. See you next week.
