The speaker explains that they ran from the cops and went to a St. Pat's party for four hours instead of going to a movie. They took a bus and lied to their mom about the movie running long. They also took alcohol and got pulled over. The speaker's dad is surprised by the story, but the speaker reassures him by sharing a statistic about teens having parties with alcohol. okay I'm gonna go with ran from the cops yes do you have any questions I do have questions of what went on for four hours if you weren't at a movie well okay we'll tell I'll tell I'm old enough now what we really did is me Brianna leave and Abby took a pace bus all the way downtown well not downtown but you know pretty far we took a pace bus and went to a st. Pat's party and and we didn't know Brett was going but Brett was there Brianna's brother and I mom dropped us off at the picnic feeder and then we walked a block to the train station because there was a bus stop right next door and we took the bus and went and mom periodically texted when is it over and I told her the credits were going really long and the commercials and beginning of the movie were taken very long and then when we were done we raced back and got picked up by mom in front of the picnic theater well I would say you did a very good job of that one but I had no idea yeah I don't think maybe you just weren't in the equation for that time but I would have been suspect on a four-hour movie though yeah mom mom didn't I don't I don't really know how and yes I got Phoebe pulled over so I was hanging out the window screaming and playing music that pulled over not surprising yeah and I did we did take uncle Jen's alcohol once again that's surprising yeah all right dad well thank you I just want to leave you with one statistic to kind of ease your mind of your high school daughter that would be about a quarter of teens have reported having a party at their house in the past 12 months of whom 39% reported that there was alcohol at their last party my thought would be that the other 75% are lying because they've done it as well exactly and that's a wrap thank you
