Welcome back to the Midlife Empress Podcast. I am coming to you live from Nassau, Bahamas. And, you know, as I'm looking out at this beautiful, gorgeous ocean, I'm really reminded of the endless possibilities that lies ahead in this midlife. And, you know, much like the ocean, our lives can be so deep and mysterious, right? And so full of all these unexplored territories. You know, they're all waiting just to be rediscovered. And, you know, you know, they're all really waiting just to be discovered. You know, midlife is truly often seen as a time of uncertainty and transition, and it's also a time of immense possibilities and growth. And I can truly say that these are the times that I absolutely love the growth. And, you know, being an empty nester myself, almost completely empty nester, these are the times that you get out and you just enjoy them. And these are the times that you're grateful that you are an empty nester because there's nothing at home that you have to immediately take care of. And you have free time and you can come on vacations with a lot of ease and, you know, a lot of relaxation. You're not running after the children. You're not worried about where the teen is. You know, I just have to say I'm grateful, you know, at this time that I am an empty nester. It's hard. It really truly is. You know, for me, my experience empty nesting, it hasn't been an easy one. I can tell you that. It's been a hard time, but as I get out more and as I, you know, go on these ventures and discovering things, I start to realize that it kind of feels like it's becoming a little bit easier. Right? And I guess this is really a time where we can truly say that we're having a little bit more of self-discovery. Right? And, you know, just being here in the Bahamas, it's really been a testament of the power of renewals. Just as, you know, the ocean really renews itself with the tides, our midlife offers us the opportunity to renew that mind that we have, renew those bodies, renew the spirit and embrace these new beginnings. Because that's what this midlife, you know, empty nesting, that's what this is all about. It's about navigating through the storms, new beginnings. You know, life is truly like the weather here in the Bahamas. It can be very unpredictable. So as we navigate through the storms, the resilience, the grace, you know, I truly have to say that these are the times where we start to tap in to that inner strength and wisdom that we have. And, you know, we have to start to feel liberating because that's what's happening in the transition. You know, we have to adjust to being on vacation without our children, a quieter home. You know, we have to redefine all these roles as parents. And we have to embrace these changes that are happening around us and really and truly start to think of everything as a new opportunity, a new personal, you know, new personal growth and fulfillment that we have. Because that's what this is allowing us to do. And, you know, so many of us women, you know, we have to embrace this time of change in our life and, you know, try to step away from feeling a little lost, which I know it's hard. It's truly hard. I'm an empty nester, too. But we have to start to paint this canvas. You start to paint this canvas, start to see things differently and start to paint it for new beginnings. We have to start to put new beginnings on there. And as we, you know, navigate through everything that's happening, I think we have to step back and start to reconnect to who we really truly are. And this gives us time. And, you know, it gives us more time with our partners. It gives us more time to discover new passions that we may have. I think empty nesting is not as bad as I once thought it was. And I'm looking for those new beginnings. And I absolutely love that, you know, I get to live the life of not just an empty nester, but also an entrepreneur because that's who I am and what I do. And I just think it's just been amazing to be able to step away without all the big responsibilities and basically take my work wherever I go, not have to really worry so much about what's going on at home or if the kids are left behind. You know, it's just really truly starting to feel really good, you know, at being an empty nester. So empty nesting and entrepreneurship, I'm going to say they go very well together. And I want you to remember something, that midlife is not time to fear change, but it's really truly time to embrace it wholeheartedly. And I think once we start to find, you know, what we truly love and a purpose maybe, a purpose and you start to feel your life live in purpose, things get really truly amazing in midlife. So all you empty nesters that are just coming into this, keep your head up because it gets really sweet. It really does. And I want you to just embrace it for what it is, truly embrace it for what it is. And all you empty nesters out there that are empty nesters and entrepreneurs, it's a really sweet life, I am just going to tell you. And I'm sure you're going to agree with me. So it does get better as you go on. And just keep looking forward and just keep looking to embrace the changes. And as I sign off here from Nassau, Bahamas, such a gorgeous place, let me just say.
