In this podcast, Gabriela introduces the topic of the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS). She explains that the ODS were approved at the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development in 2015. The initiative, called "Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development," aims to build upon the achievements of the Millennium Development Goals and promote prosperity while protecting the planet. Como hemos dicho antes, vamos a hablar sobre las ODS, y en este primer comienzo del podcast vamos a hablar sobre un poco de la historia. Las ODS fueron aprobadas en la Cumbre Mundial sobre el Desarrollo Sostenible, que se realizó en la ONU en Nueva York en septiembre de 2015. Esta iniciativa, llamada Transformar Nuestro Mundo, la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible, busca ampliar los logros alcanzados con los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio y promover la prosperidad mientras protegemos el planeta.
