Welcome, guys, to the first ever episode of the Funny You Should Ask podcast, featuring myself, BumbleBrie4, and the Piggy Queenie, Bri and Piggy. This first episode's a little bit of just Piggy and I kind of talking through and figuring out what we want this podcast to kind of be structured like, so it's a little bit messy, but moving forward, episodes will have topics and be structured, but we just wanted to get the feel of recording, kind of set the stage for the podcast moving forward, and hopefully you guys enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it. So without further ado, here's the first episode, Funny You Should Ask. It's just me, it's just me, me and Marley, the next time we hang out, I will redeem myself, my heart can rest till then, whoa, whoa, whoa, and a dream once where someone was like, oh, my gosh, you should be a singer, it's not a true thing. Funny, you should say that because I had a nightmare where somebody said, Piggy is a singer. What? That's funny. That's funny. You should have. Oh, okay. Yeah. So, okay, so we say it, at least I say it so often, I think, yeah, that's a good name. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's, it's funny. And I kind of like it. Yeah. It's like a, it's a, it's a play on words, a play on, play on something, I don't know. Yeah. And it's kind of like, I don't know, people say it when they're like, talking about serious subjects of trying to joke about it. I am waiting for my Tito cold cool down right now. Your Tito's? No, just tea. I don't know what a Tito's is. Oh, tea. Tito's vodka. Oh, yes. It's a brisk Sunday morning. And I like to wait for my Tito's vodka to cool down before I sip on it at 843 a.m. I'm on vacation. Don't judge me. I'm not judging. I brought it up. I have whiskey beside me. Oh, I can't. I can't drink whiskey. It's cinnamon whiskey. It's not Fireball. It is a local one. And it is so good. I guess we should figure out, like, what our goal for the podcast is. For the episode or the podcast in whole? In whole, so we can, like, say it in our first episode, just so. We have to. What are you talking about? Oh, I forgot. Golly. I forgot. I don't want to read it because we did read it. It sounded very scripted. So we just kind of want to talk from the heart. Okay. So I think it's just we love gaming. But we also want to. Make mental health. A. Common subject, but it's like the way to say, let me get more like the idea behind this podcast was one mental health is not talked about enough. There's like a huge stigma around it. I do think the world's getting a little bit better at accepting it, but not in terms of being able to provide help for people. So I think the idea behind this podcast is a lot of people in our community and in the gaming community in general, even like people I don't know in the gaming community. I'll see people I do know, like, like their tweets or something, or I'll watch a. Somebody like some big gamer stream or something, or like, you know, you could talk about the situation that happened with Pokimane. She ended up taking like a whole month off and now she's back. She's like, I'm not going to do like the status quo type thing. Yeah, which is great. So I think that idea behind this podcast is giving people that platform to be able to talk about in an open, like safe space. And if they want to, if not, it's just going to be us. And that's perfectly fine, too. I got a lot to talk about and how gaming has helped, but also talk about the woes of like in the mental, I don't know what I want to say, mental like strife, mental angst or like toil or not toil, turmoil, turmoil. There it is. Maybe that's a lot of me like testing words. Whatever. I feel like we're the same person. I really do. I agree. I'm just old. Mental turmoil. Yes. That streaming, like, so I think it's great to have you as like a co-anchor, co-anchor because this is a new, for this podcast because you can bring in that perspective. And then my perspective is just like seeing like I'm in chats and modding. I just, I just want to have friends to play games with. Not necessarily stream and share with the world because I can't handle that. Yeah. So, yeah. So that was not a pretty way to say what this podcast was about. But I think, I mean, that's the idea behind it. It felt like it encompassed everything we want people to know. Yeah. And it's like mental health isn't something you can just like clean up and make it into like a nice pretty statement. So there's like a bunch of. I don't know. I like just like the dirty description of the day. I don't know. No, no, no. That's not what we're doing here.
