I want to make a local announcement prior to the episode. As you probably know, I mention all the time that I live in Austin, Texas, so today I want to take time to mention a very important 24-hour event that's happening here, and it begins tomorrow, March 6, and goes through March 7. It's the largest community fundraising event here in Central Texas. It's actually called Amplify Austin. Remember that name, Amplify Austin. It raises millions of dollars for over 700 local non-profits. Here's something that's really pretty cool. Did you happen to listen to my episode, Pause in Prison? Guess what? They were selected to participate. Pretty cool, don't you think? This is their largest fundraisers. If you missed the episode, or as a reminder, let me tell you something about this amazing program. This program saves dogs from kill shelters and saves women, too. What do I mean by that? Well, the dogs are brought into prison, and then female inmates, they go through a program learning how to train the dogs. It's a pretty intense program for both of them. By doing so, though, it not only trains the dogs, it teaches the inmates skills that help them find employment when they're released, but just as important, it gives them and the dogs a sense of fulfillment. It's this awesome program, and they really need your support, so please check out Amplify ATX.org and look for Friends of Pause in Prison. You can also tune in tomorrow night at 8 p.m. on Channel 10. It's Austin's public TV channel. They'll give you a chance to meet these really courageous women. You'll learn all about the great things they're doing with their great big hearts. Again, AustinATX.org, Friends of Pause in Prison. Lastly, thanks to the dogs, the female inmates, and me for helping them out. Three, two, one. Lastly, thanks from the dogs, the female inmates, and me for really helping out. These guys really need it. Make sure you donate something for it, and have a great day. Thank you.
