The speaker discusses the recent week of football games, mentioning that low scoring early games often lead to unpredictable outcomes in later games. They talk about their fantasy football team, mentioning specific players they had to make decisions about and their disappointment with leaving points on the bench. They discuss their strategy and reasoning behind their player choices, noting injuries and the unpredictability of the first week of games. They mention their team's progress and lack of draft picks, and express their intention to focus on analyzing trade requests rather than making waiver wire moves. Any week where there's little scoring in the morning, like it was this past Sunday, yeah, it's a lot of times if the Monday night games or the Sunday night games is gonna start real weird and we all saw what happens with the Sunday night game 40 to nothing and then that craziness last night. So, no, weird is exactly what it was to start this first week. So, but yeah, I had to deal with Ambassadors Laquan that won the championship last year. So, I was already hit with stuff to think about on the Thursday night game. I had to deal with Montgomery, Montgomery, Gray, St. Brown, and I think there was somebody else that he had. No, I think that was it. I had Laporta, but I had him on a bench. So, I just wanted to see what it was. I figured I was gonna go again with Everett or another veteran tight end, but he gave me a six and a half, but I can't really say he gave me six and a half because he was on a bench. So, he pretty much gave me zero, but it was a good game for him. Yeah, I just didn't have enough against, I left about 21 points on the bench. If I would have had that, I would have lost by one, but it's the fact of the matter is that I just, I got mixed up, not mixed up, but I got caught up in the matchup, especially with Baltimore going up against Nico Collins, the number one defense in the narrative just going in. So, I thought maybe they would clamp down more on him, but I would see his, I was just looking at his volume to see what kind of, how many targets he was gonna get. And also too, I said with AJ Dillon was, I figured Jordan Love was gonna use his running backs a lot more than Russell Wilson using some Ajay Perrine. I know it was Las Vegas and how their defense can be really up and down, but I just tried to go with Jordan Love and I thought maybe he would just be checking down a lot more than I thought Russell Wilson would. But there's still some promise there with AJ Dillon. Like I said, the injuries hit Aaron Jones as a matter of fact, so monitoring that. Really and truthfully, this was a field to see what kind of team I had. Like I said, I didn't have a lot of picks to start the draft. So, this is basically another team in progress like it was last year. So, it is what it is. I mean, don't get me wrong. An upset win would have been great, but no, it was more of just to see what kind of, the week went on a lot of times. A lot of times I don't even like making bets on the week one, but just to see what kind of direction they're going in. I mean, the narrative during the preseason or even during the offseason is one thing. But once the games start, it's always something different. So, you just got to ride the wave of just trying not to anticipate so much, but that always gets me in trouble. So, now we start with our first official week of waiver wires and what's available. I'm trying to get, I mean, I'm number six on the list. So, I mean, the only thing that I can try to put in is probably a wide receiver. But with it not being a lot of options as far as free agency, I probably just let it roll, maybe move up and move up a couple spaces because I'm sure there's a few managers that are going to put in for a request. And I got some trade requests I got to go through and try to analyze, if you will, and see how that's going to go. I don't think I'm going to look too much into all the waiver wires this week. So, that's all I got to say for now. So, that's probably the plan. I'm probably not going to put anything in.
