Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Ella Wheeler Wilcox was an accomplished American author and poet who lived from November 5, 1850 to October 30, 1919. She is renowned for her work, Poems of Passion, but her most famous piece is "Solitude," which features the well-known lines, "Laugh, and the world laughs with you; Weep, and you weep alone." Her autobiography, The Worlds and I, was published in 1918, a year before her passing, and remains a notable contribution to her legacy.
