Welcome back everyone to another episode of Happy Meadow Tales, I'm your host Steve Kitts. Hubby and Benny meet a snake. One morning in Happy Meadow, Robbie the rabbit and Benny the squirrel were enjoying a delicious breakfast of acorns and clover. As they chattered and nibbled, they remembered the first time that they had met Samantha the snake. While they were eating another morning, they noticed a big commotion going on nearby. A group of animals gathered in a circle and their eyes fixed on something that was in the grass. Curious as always, Robbie and Benny, they hopped over to see what was going on. To their surprise, they found a small yet frightened snake named Samantha. She said, my name is Samantha, please don't throw rocks or anything that will hurt me. Samantha was stuck in a tangled mess of vines and thorns. Oh dear, Robbie said with concern, looks like Samantha is in trouble. We must help her, Benny. And Benny nodded in agreement and together they carefully approached Samantha, who was trembling with fear. Oh don't worry Samantha, Benny said, we're here to help. Robbie used his nimble little paws to gently untangle the thorny vines that surrounded Samantha. While Benny fetched some water and some acorns to offer her. Samantha's eyes were filled with gratitude as she sipped on the water and nibbled on an acorn. Once Samantha was free and feeling better, she told Robbie and Benny about her predicament. Why was chasing this little mouse when I got tangled in this vine? I couldn't slither out of it either, I was caught and I was too scared to call out for help. Other people in the other places would throw things at me and make me leave. Robbie and Benny listened attentively and then Robbie said, Samantha, we're glad that we could help you. But you know, it's important that even though you're a snake, you're part of our meadow family now and you should look out for each other. Samantha nodded, her forked tongue flicking with agreement. You're right Robbie, I had been so focused on hunting that I hadn't took the time to get to know all the other animals. I'd like to change that. I'd like to change that. I've never really been part of a family up until now. With Samantha's pledge to be friendly to everyone, the three friends decided to spend the day together and explore the whole meadow. They shared stories and they played games and they introduced Samantha to all the other animals in the meadow, like Max the mouse and Lilla the ladybug. As the sun began to set, Samantha said, thank you Robbie and Benny for not only rescuing me, but also to show me the importance of friendship and kindness. I've learned a valuable lesson today. Robbie and Benny smiled warmly. Samantha, you're welcome because you're part of our meadow family now. We're here for each other and we have each other's back, no matter what size or shape. Samantha the snake became a beloved member of the happy meadow family. She slithered around helping all the other animals when they needed it and formed friendships with all the creatures of every kind. Robbie and Benny were proud of the difference that they've made in her life and knew that sometimes the greatest adventures were the ones that brought friends closer and taught important lessons about kindness and love. And so the adventures of Robbie and Benny continue, filled with the magical friendship and the joy of helping each other that are in need. The end.
