Swift is a programming language developed by Apple for iOS and OS X development. It allows users to build apps for various Apple devices and is free and open source. There is an app called Swift Playgrounds that helps people learn how to code in Swift by teaching functions and how computers think. It also has a character that can be controlled with code. After learning, users can access free courses on Xcode to help them build their first app. Swift is user-friendly and I'm excited to learn more about it. Since it is free and open source, it is pretty easy to create something for yourself. I, myself, have been going through Swift Playgrounds, an app developed by Apple to help people learn how to code Swift. It is actually pretty cool. You learn how to build code with functions, and it helps you start to understand how a computer thinks. There is even a little character you can control with code. And when you are done learning, you can access free courses on Xcode, which help you build your first app. Overall, Swift is a relatively user-friendly coding language, and I can't wait to dive into it more.
