The main idea of this information is that the speaker's podcast is about anger management therapies in elementary schools. The speaker discusses the research they did and the different anger management therapies they found. They also mention adding comedic elements to make the podcast more entertaining. The speaker asked survey questions about mentioning West Point and whether to be comedic or serious. The majority of the audience is male and has experienced difficulty controlling anger. The podcast is called "Anger Immunization" and the speaker did not use a co-host. They did not find the script helpful and found it difficult to make. Some possible questions for the creator would be why they chose this topic and what their key takeaways were. My name is Dan Bestel and this is my podcast process note. So for the key takeaways of my podcast, the main takeaway is obviously why anger management therapies should be instituted in elementary schools. Less educational for my listener because a they get to learn about the research that I did to determine that this would be a good idea and they also get to learn about the different anger management therapies that I researched to be implemented. The most entertaining engagement element in my podcast I'd say that's some of the I try to have a little bit of comedy in it while keeping it mostly serious but I think having a little bit of comedy in it every once in a while keeps people attentive and listening. Recall the questions used for your survey. Two questions you see most critical is what do I want West Point to be like mentioned or just completely ignored in the podcast. I feel like some podcasts are going to mention West Point way too much and people are just going to get angry but I don't want to just completely ignore it. I want to hear about how it applies to their lives. So I got most people saying that they wanted like a little bit of reference to West Point so I used just a couple references now then. The other question was that was most influential was so I wanted to be a bit comedic or just serious and I'm mostly comedic but a bit serious so that's part of the reason why I decided to add some comedic elements to my podcast. The response to those questions I already talked about those. Consider relationship with your intended audience. What decisions did you make with making your podcast or influence their understanding of the audience? Some of that was also talking about West Point just a little bit. A lot of this stuff that I talked about has like implied implications for West Point cadets. What are the defining characteristics of your audience? Obviously the main characteristic of my audience is that they go to West Point but they're also mostly male and another survey question that I asked is like how many people in my audience have dealt with having difficulty controlling their anger before and I got about half saying that they had so this is applicable in my audience. Consider the name and the episode title of your podcast. I called my podcast anger immunization which makes sense because like a vaccine if you learn strategies to control your anger at a young age it will prevent problems in the future. I did not include a co-host. Did you find the script helpful? No I did not find the script helpful for a podcast. I feel like you should talk to professional podcasters that actually do make podcasts for a living. They do not use scripts and I deviated from the script quite a bit mostly because I just didn't like the idea of using script for a podcast. If you were to connect a critical analysis to your podcast what questions would I have for the creator? Most of the questions that I thought people would have I covered and I decided to use... I decided but some questions that I could have were why were you inspired to use this as your topic and what key takeaways did you have at the end? What's the most difficult part of the assignment? I think that was making the script. As aforementioned I didn't like the idea of using a script so I think just not having any motivation for that part made that the most difficult.
