The podcast discusses Otis Conner-Burdard's impressive stats in the NHL as a rookie. He has scored 9 goals and 4 assists in 13 games, totaling 13 points. This surpasses the points scored by Connor McDavid, who is considered the best player in the league. Conner-Burdard is also hailed as the next star in the NHL. The podcast also mentions his famous move called the toe-drag release. The tragic incident of Adam Johnson's throat being slit on the ice is discussed, and the debate about whether it was intentional or not. The use of neck guards to improve player safety is also mentioned. The podcast briefly touches on the college football playoff rankings, with Michigan, Washington, Texas, and Alabama being the top four teams. Ohio State's exclusion from the playoffs is discussed, along with the performance of Jaden Daniels and Bo Nix in college football. There we have the podcast here, first topic, we're going to get to Otis Conner-Bedard's stats. So, we're going into Conner-Bedard's stats, and he's played 13 games so far, and he has 9 goals in both 13 games, which is a match, pretty much, by any rookie in the NHL. And, Conner has also managed to get 4 assists, and that puts him at 13 points scored in total for the whole entire season so far. And 13 points in 13 games is phenomenal, and no one else has done that in the league right now. And 13 points is more points scored so far than Conner McDavid, which he has 12. And McDavid is considered to be the best player in the league currently, which is pretty crazy. And, Conner-Bedard is only 5'10 and 180 pounds, and he's most considered the next star in the NHL. So, do you guys think that Conner-Bedard is going to be the best NHL player in the league today? I mean, I would say that's pretty impressive so far, I mean, he's an 18-year-old, I mean, the kid just turned 18, like, a couple months ago, this is pretty impressive. Mac, what do you got to say here? You know, I'm with you, I can bring you some of my stats, but, his game, some of the height Yeah, we can hear about that. Alright, so, he was the first player to be granted the exceptional player status to enter the NHL when he was 15 years of age, which is insane. And stats in the Western League, hockey league were insane. He played 134 games, got 134 goals, so a goal gain, and 137 assists, 271 points in total. In 2022 and the 2023 season, he played 57 games and had 71 goals, which is mind-blowing. And he also had 72 assists, so it's not just goals. I mean, yeah, it seems like the kid's a playmaker, a real playmaker here, making plays on the ice, 200-foot player. Seems like pretty much a phenomenon for the hockey world. And that brings me to, I got a little story here. You know, I went to the home opener for the Blackhawks in the summer hockey team, and I actually ran into Connor Burdard's dad. He's actually a great guy. Their family's from Vancouver, BC. And he's still working, even though his kid's getting paid so much money here. But when I was talking to him, we asked if he's going to move here to Chicago, and he said he is going to stay in Vancouver, his whole family, but he's going to come as many games as he can. So that brings up the question, will Connor Burdard, when his rookie contract's over, is he going to re-sign, or is he going to just go to Vancouver to his hometown team? Good question. Like, we're going to have to see in three years. This is a big debate here. And now, Otis, I think you're going to talk about the famous toe-drag release of Connor Burdard. Alright, so Connor Burdard, when he was only 17, was cooking in the Western Hockey League as Mac told you guys. He had pretty amazing stats. And he was famous for doing this one move called the toe-drag release on the breakaway. He would start the puck far from his body, drag it back, and take a wrist shot. And that's why it's called the toe-drag release. The hype of Burdard made this move famous. People started making TikToks about the toe-drag release shot and funny jokes. Most famous, Coach Chippy. Coach Chippy even made shirts and beanies, along with other merch that has the design TDR on it. That stands for toe-drag release. As time went on, the toe-drag release jokes were trending, until it started to slow down a little bit around mid-2023. Will the toe-drag release go viral once more if Burdard pulls up and moves in the NHL? Well, I mean, Coach Chippy, he's like real big in the hockey world now. I mean, went to the biggest youth hockey tournament in the world, CCN World Invite, a couple weeks ago, about a month now. And, you know, he's a big media influencer for youth hockey players. He's a pretty funny guy, too. I think we all agree here. Yep, I agree. Me too. So, Vince, Blackhawks, even though Burdard's doing pretty good, the Blackhawks are not too hot as a team. If Burdard doesn't score, they pretty much lose. Even sometimes when he scores, it's a loss anyway. I can tell you about a game, he had two goals and one assist in one period, which is the opening period. Wow. First goal, I can tell you about that. First goal was a one-timer. He was close to the net, he flipped it in. Second was an assist. It was a two-on-one, he passed it to Connor Johnson. And the third was a goal, he got a steal, passed it to Nick Falagino, Falagino passed it back, and Burdard made the move and scored. Three points in one period is pretty impressive. That is a great stretch of the game. Once again, the age, 18, he's playing against 30-year-olds. People are way older than him. That's quite impressive. He's small, too. 180 pounds. Ridiculous. Another thing in the hockey world. A couple weeks ago, a man named Adam Johnson sadly passed away on the ice due to slits of the throat. Recently, the man who slit his throat, Matt Peckrave, was charged with manslaughter. The police deemed after investigation that they think this was manslaughter. They think that was very intentional. That also brings a question for the rest of the hockey world. Do we think this was intentional or not? I mean, in my opinion, I believe he wouldn't just kick randomly in the air if Adam Johnson wasn't there. I think, yes, he did get toe-kicked, but I mean, that kick seems pretty intentional. Yeah. I don't think it's really possible to accidentally kill someone. Yeah. It's either like, yeah, it's pretty hard to accidentally kill someone. It's like, either you killed him or not. I mean, he was coming across and he just did a whole spin around and kick and up in the upper area and got him in his neck. So that also brought a lot to all the hockey world. They're making neck guards mandatory and everything just to find ways to improve player safety. Very important. Yeah. That hasn't happened that often, has it? No. That hasn't happened before. Yeah. A decade ago in the NHL, someone also slit in the neck and, lucky enough, there was someone on the bench that knew how to stop it. Yeah. I mean, without maybe training more people to be able to stop that. Do you guys think the use of neck guards is required? Do you think it should be necessary? I don't think it should be because people can make their own opinions, but me personally, I wear one because I'm not trying to die on the ice. Yeah. Makes sense. I'm going to send to today, the college football playoff just came out a couple hours ago. So at number one, we got Georgia. Number two, or not, shoot, that's wrong. That was the rankings before. Number one, we have Michigan. Number two, we got Washington. Number three, Texas. Number four, Alabama, which kicks out the five and six, Florida State and Georgia. So what do we think about that? I think these are very accurate rankings, but undefeated team in a power five conference hasn't not made a playoff, so they're undefeated in a while. Yeah. Florida State's crazy. Yeah, they're saying it never happened before. I'd say it's a pretty tough blow for Florida State fans, and especially for the team, but the injury kind of just messed their whole season up. Yeah, I feel bad for the team, because they did all they could, and that freshman quarterback, they're just telling him he's not good enough. Jordan Travis having a Heisman year, and then just unfortunately out for the year, and then they had the freshman quarterback step in, and pretty much the media's telling him he's not good enough to make his team. To be fair, on the other hand, Alabama just won the hardest conference, in my opinion. Yeah, I would agree. Beat number one, Georgia, who's been a powerhouse for many years, including this year. And I just feel it wouldn't be fair for Texas, who had the same record, who barely lost to Oklahoma, and beat Alabama in their regular season to not get in. Yeah, it's just a tough blow for Florida State. And I think if you beat Georgia, you've got to get in the playoffs, especially if they're ranked number one, and haven't lost in what, 17 years? Yeah, 29. SEC record. I mean, that's ridiculous. 29 games in a row, tough games, two national championships. Ridiculous. Let's talk about another one of the teams that didn't make the playoffs. Ohio State was not even in the conversation, really. Yeah, I mean, after that loss to Michigan, it really just pretty much killed them right there. That's kind of a shocker for me, because in my opinion, I feel like the committee has always liked Ohio State, and I feel like when you're, I was watching the conferences and stuff before they announced the teams, and the committee was making it sound like you really liked Ohio State in the top four, which personally, that doesn't make sense for me, because I think Texas now, they deserve the spots. But, I mean, Ohio State, barely lost to Michigan at home, but I just don't think they could have gotten in. I mean, yeah, really Ohio State didn't really play too much competition. They only had Michigan and Notre Dame and Penn State. That's only like three teams. They beat Notre Dame by only one play. Like an inch. One play an inch. Yeah. And now Notre Dame has gone on to lose three games and barely being ranked. Yes, that did not help their conversation to get in that top four. Yeah. Howell McCord is terrible. Yeah. And Michigan gave them some terrible decisions. I mean, I think... They had to fix that game. It's just one of them. If Ohio State wins that game, if Ohio State wins that game, they're the number one right now. Four points just decided their entire season. Michigan would be out there. Michigan would be gone. Marvin Harrison doesn't deserve to end his college career like that. No. He's one of the best ROTC groups in college. Yeah. I mean, he could be a Heisman candidate, in my opinion. I think he is. Our top three, four guys, we got Jaden Daniels from LSU. Incredible. Just making plays with his legs all the time. Yeah. Bo Nix. Bo Nix. Oregon. They just lost in the Pac-12 championship. Yeah. To another Heisman candidate, Michael Penix Jr. He's up there on the list. I mean, I think he's like top five in yards in FBS. He makes plays left and right. If you watch their games, pretty fun team to watch because of it. Yeah. And they're going to be spotted at number two playing Texas. So what do we think about that game, Texas and Washington? Well, Washington's offense is unbelievable. I think it's pretty much unstoppable. But Washington's defense really just isn't there. And I think defense in the championship, so I don't know. I think Texas might be better. Yeah. That Texas, that offense looked really good. I feel like Texas has really nothing to lose. They never really go there. They're going to be more hyped. They're going to, I mean, I feel like their fans are just a lot more like, Yeah, it's a southern team. It's a southern team from the Big 12. They got great fans. I mean, if you don't know, when they beat Alabama last year, the fans stormed the field, including they took the goal post and brought it into the middle of the town. Yeah. Through the streets, which is pretty crazy. Yeah. So I think the hype will be on their side, and I'm going to have to go with Texas on this one, underdog. Texas really hasn't had any struggles this year besides the homer like they did pretty much. Yeah, but that's also a rivalry. It's a rivalry game. Yeah, they lost right at the end. I mean, there's a lot of tight games this year. It was a great college football season. Nail-biter today and yesterday for the 18s, probably possible for four spots. I mean, they haven't had this problem in a long time, I don't think. No, I mean, the history is made that there's never been a team from outside the top six going into the last rankings make it. They had two, number seven, Texas, number eight, Alabama, slipping into three and four. And Ohio State getting bumped out. So, yeah, it was a pretty crazy day, last two days for college football. And I thought it was funny that I was watching the conferences and stuff, as I told you earlier before the announcing of the playoff spots, and one of the press conferences, like one of the reporters said that the Washington coach was the only person in the whole entire stadium, and they didn't have like a little celebration. Michigan and all their players were together. Texas, they wanted to all get a news together, like all kind of like a family. And Washington, I guess they just knew they were in. They just had a celebration. This could be like it's either cockiness or this is just like they're already getting prepared. I already heard Alabama and Michigan are taking the whole week off to rest. So this could be taking tolls on Washington's bodies, or they're just getting so prepared that they're just like ready to run someone. Yeah, talk about that cockiness there with Washington. You mentioned him the other day, Washington's quarterback, Michael Penix. That's where they beat Washington State. The last second field goal, he didn't celebrate. He just had his head down. Just because he played a bad game. That's just not a team player. That's not a team player thing. That's also very high expectations, so we'll see where it takes that. Yeah. That could either be used as a weapon or something that's going to bring him down a lot during the game versus Texas and versus the national championship maybe if they beat Texas. Yeah, it's like there's going to be a big, big crowd the next two games. It's all mental, too. If you can't do it mentally, then you're not going to be able to do it physically. Yeah, we mentioned the Heisman race earlier. Who are we thinking? I think Jayden Daniels is the biggest favorite. They were a three-loss team. Yeah. I think they could be lower, but they're a three-loss team, compared to the other ones that are one or two. Also, who won the Heisman last year? Caleb Williams? They lost two games last year, right? Yeah. They had a chance to get in the last second and lost in their conference championship. Killed them. He's putting up pretty crazy numbers. He's also a really good, elusive quarterback. His numbers are much more than Joe Burrow. I think Joe Burrow got the Heisman. Yeah. They're saying Jayden Daniels has better numbers than 2019 Joe Burrow, too. 2019 Joe Burrow. That was ridiculous. That's true, but I feel like part of the reason why these Heismans are so debatable is because some teams like to run off the score, and some teams don't. Yeah. For example, I'm not a Michigan fan. I like Notre Dame. I don't consider J.J. McCarthy in this talk, but they don't like to run off the score. They don't play their starters in third and fourth quarters, sometimes, if they're up by 30. Yeah, I mean, they could very well. It brings down the stats quite a bit, so I have to also look at that when they're making that decision. I mean, the Big Ten is a way weaker conference. I think it's one of the weaker ones, but it should be good. It's going to be a lot stronger next year. I feel like it's just because of how small it is. There's not many teams in it. Well, yeah, there's two sides, seven teams on each side, and one is just terrible. Iowa was the best team out of there, 26-0 in the conference championship. That's terrible. Yeah, you like to see close games in those conference champions, and thinking about that, talking about that, I'll talk about conference championship outlooks now. I'm just going to talk about the Big Ten right now because, yes, it already happened, but I'm just going to talk about it for a little. We'll look at the standings going into these games. Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines were tied at first until Michigan beat them, and they both had a record of 10-0 and a record of 7-0 in their conference games. Third place is Penn State at 8-2 before the tournament, and fourth is Maryland at 6-4 before the tournament. Let's look at the Big Ten West. In first place, you have Iowa with a record of 8-2 and is already out of the playoffs. Second is Nebraska, who is 5-5 tied with Northwestern, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. My prediction for the Big Ten conference championship is that it would be Iowa versus Michigan, which that was correct somehow. I think the question we all had before this was who would win the Big Ten conference championship, but, I mean, after the Michigan-Ohio State game, it really wasn't much of a question. Yeah. I feel like Iowa just had zero chance at all. Yeah. Michigan was like 23.5-point favorites, and everyone just knew it. Not for too much of a powerhouse. Yeah. For an 8-2 Iowa. Yeah. A team that can't score, too. I mean, their offensive coordinator in his, like, contract, it was like, if he doesn't score 25 points per game by the end of the year, he's fired, and he just left the team halfway through the season because they can only score, like, less than 10 points, which is just really bad. Speaking of Iowa having no offense, I saw a TikTok where it was, like, a guy with binoculars, and it said in a caption above, Coach Harbaugh reading Iowa's play calls, and it was the Iowa coach signaling a punt because they have no offense at all. I mean, I feel like one game they, like, set the record for, like, punts or something because, like, punts a year. No offense whatsoever. Actually, I saw a graphic this morning. It was, so, Kaitlin Clark, the women's basketball player for Iowa, she has more points in eight games by herself than the entire Iowa offense in 13 games. Not good at all. By, like, 50 points, too. I mean. For the Iowa-Michigan game, I was rooting for Iowa. That is the underdog. Yeah. I love the upsets, especially when your team's not in there. You love the upsets. I was quarterback. He looked kind of huge. Yeah, I mean, obviously you've got to root for, like, if your team's not in it, conference champions. You just want close games, and a lot of people like to root for the underdogs. Some people don't. I mean, the close games didn't really deliver with the main ones. Like, the Florida State-Louisville game, I mean, 16-6 is just one touchdown in the whole game. Or the 1-by-3, I thought. The Alabama game was very – that was good. But, like, the other ones, like, Texas-Oklahoma State was, like, a blowout. Michigan was a blowout. Yeah. Michigan destroyed. I think we should see a lot more close games in the playoffs, though. Those games look awesome. I'm so excited to watch those. Yeah. So we said – so we all had – we all think Texas, right? Or what's everyone's picks again? I got Texas. I have Texas beating Washington, sadly. I just think Penix is – I think he's just too individual. He's too much of an individual player. Yeah. Yeah, I'm kind of excited to see the spread on that game. I really haven't watched Texas play, like, this entire year. I'm going to be honest. I've watched Washington a lot more. So, I don't know. I'm just going to go with Washington. Okay. I've kind of been a fan of them all year. I like Penix, so I'm just going to stick with him. I like Penix as well, but I just feel like Texas is just the underdogs, and they're always good on underdog games, like against Alabama every year. Yeah. The past two years they've won. I feel like they're just great. I mean, they went into – they went into Alabama's home field and won that game out of conference. They scheduled that. Alabama was undefeated as well. Yeah. I think it was, like, week two, though. I mean – Yeah. Right at the start of the year. They were ranked top four, I believe. Yeah. In the South, football games, they take college football so serious. Yeah, I mean – And they look, like, crazy. The high school football is ridiculous. I mean, have you seen, like, an average high school football stadium in Texas? They're, like, the size of college, like, lower D1 scholarship. At Clemson, we went there early November to watch Notre Dame sadly lose to Clemson. But the hype there is just unreal. At the end of the game, like, yes, Notre Dame is not a very good team this year. Like, they're decent and all, but they're ranked. But, like, I had a feeling, like, with all that hype before the game, it's going to be a struggle for Sam Hartman to, like, control his, like, mind and stuff under the pressure. Yeah, just the Midwest. The Midwest is nowhere near the South and everything. Like, the last, like, national championship winners, we had Georgia twice, Alabama. Like, those are all Southern SEC teams. Yeah, I will say Howard's Rock was a cool experience to watch. That's one of probably the most, like, people at Clemson say it's the most exciting 30 seconds of anyone who's ever watched college football, like, live in their life. Yeah. I think I agree. I would have to agree. So, it kind of has, like, take the buses around the entire stadium, and then they come out, touch Howard's Rock, and then… Yeah, that's unbelievable. Yeah. And after every touchdown, there's, like, a military veteran. He blew off a cannon, and there was fireworks everywhere. Yeah, I think that's incredible. I mean, you don't get that at, like, any other, like, sporting events. Talking about that game, Clemson versus Notre Dame, Phil Mothwell, sorry, Phil, he was a beast against Notre Dame. Like, I think it was, what, two touchdowns, maybe 150 yards. It was just crazy. I don't know if those stats are exact, but somewhere around there, I think. Otis and I were lucky enough to be down by the field, and we saw him, and he looked like a beast. Yeah, what's crazy is that he's the backup when, before they're starting running back, I'm not sure what his name is. I don't really pay attention to Clemson this year after they lost to Duke after Week 1. Kind of knew it was over for them. Yeah. I'm not sure, starting running back's name, but he's out, and so Phil Mothwell comes in for him and just has a beast of a game. Yeah. It was just crazy. Pretty much, if you guys are familiar with object estimate, I think that's pretty much their object estimate. Yeah. Yeah. So absolutely, like, there is a lot of, like, running backs you'll see just come out of nowhere in college football and just explode. Yeah. And after that, it's all just momentum for them. Yeah. Yeah, momentum. Confidence. Back to the playoffs. Yeah, so Max got Washington. Me and Otis got Texas. On the other side, Michigan versus Alabama. What are you thinking? I mean, I'll go first. I think Melrose has been playing some unbelievable football, and that win yesterday was big, and I think they're going to have all the momentum in the world. And I just think Michigan, if Alabama can control their defensive line and stop Blake Corham, I think Alabama might win. I think. I don't know what to do with Alabama there. Yeah. So Michigan just played Iowa. Everyone's thinking that just like the last game doesn't mean anything, they're going to win. They're already in the playoffs. Yeah. So they just played like a soft game. Yeah. On the other hand, Alabama just played Georgia, former number one team in the country, which is, and they beat them. So they're going to have tons of momentum, like you said. And I think Alabama's going to come out much stronger than Michigan. Michigan's going to come back, and it's going to be close at the end, but Alabama's going to edge it out. Yeah, extremely, like, intense football. They went from playing Ohio State to Iowa. Like, that's a huge drop off. Like, Bama, they've been playing great teams all year, in my opinion, and they had a very, like, tough schedule, and they got through it, beat Georgia. That's huge momentum. I mean, yeah, Georgia's just maybe arguably, like, one of the biggest powerhouse teams, like, in all of football these last few years. Yeah. And it's just unbelievable to go out there, thinking you're out of the playoffs, having one loss, and then realizing you played them in the SEC Championship, and if you beat them, you're in, basically. Yeah. Well, they didn't even know. It was a nail-biter there, because I think the committee could have went either way, but I think they made the right decision. I think the right decision was made with, sadly, Jordan Travis. Tough injury. Pretty much ended their season for them. They did all they could, went undefeated. It's just unfortunate. I really don't see that. I mean, actually, we've never seen that, because that's the first time that's happened. I mean, yeah. The undefeated team doesn't make the playoffs. It's crazy. Yeah. You can't, I don't know, it's really controversial, because the team wins every game, and they're, like, in one of the best conferences in the country. Well, I think, what are the Power 5 conferences, again? It's Big 10, SEC, Big 12, Pac-12, ACC. I think the ACC is the worst out of those five. If Clemson comes back and does pretty well, then it could get better. It could get better, but, like, they have tough matchups. And Florida State only beat LSU and Louisville. Yeah. And Louisville were, like, beckoning us so far. Yeah. 3-0. I think they would have made it if they would have made a strong statement against Louisville. If they would have blown them out or something, scored a bunch of points, they're in. The LLM is out. Yeah, you can't, I'm pretty sure my dad told me. 37 yards of total offense for both teams in the first quarter. 37. Like, combined? Combined? Yeah. You just, that's not the class. 3-0, 3-0, 3-0, yeah. So, I know this is not what we were planning to talk about, but I think we should talk about this topic. The Bears and their picks. Like, I'm thinking, like, let's just say Cal, or, sorry. Let's just say the Panthers hold out their number one pick, which is now ours because we traded last year for that pick. Yeah, so we're picking out, like, number one and say, like, number, I mean, I don't know. We could, in my opinion, I think we could win out. I think the Bears could win out. But right now we're at number five. So, like, let's just say that's where we're at. And I'm thinking, I mean, our defense just played pretty good. They've been playing good lately these last few games. Yeah, I think it's, like, six interceptions in two games or something like that, five interceptions two games. Do you guys think we'll take for the first pick? I think, well, it's either between, there's a lot of favoriting between, like, keeping fields there. But, in my opinion, I think he's gone. I think he should be gone. Because he's been playing pretty decent. I think he should be traded away. And you could get some more picks out of him. And I want, in my opinion, I think we should get Drake May. Because I don't like the qualities of Caleb Williams. I don't like the qualities of Panics. Just, we need leaders, and they are not leaders. They want to just boss around teams and everything. How about Bonex? Bonex also is up there, too. I mean, we still got months away from the draft. Like, there's Combine, Pro Days, all of that. See, Combine's still up there still. Yeah, there's still more to scout. And, like, there's still playoffs, bowl games, and, like, Senior Day or whatever it is. I don't know. That decision's up for debate. And it will be until the draft day, basically. And there also was talks that if Ibrufus, head coach, gets fired, Poles is fired, everyone's fired. And then, because General Football Operations wants to get his own guys in there, because he didn't hire, like, a single coach. Yeah. He's, apparently, he's friends with Harbaugh. Yeah, I've heard that. I mean, especially if, like, Michigan, like, if they win this year, like, maybe he just wants to go out on that, go to the NFL again. Yeah. And then coach a team that has so much talent. Because I think the Bears have, they have young talent on their team. I agree. They're not in a bad spot. So much money. So much, we have a lot of room to work with. Yeah. On the other hand, I, myself, I'm a Packers fan. And Jordan Love is not very impressive. I mean, last Thanksgiving Day, though, he was, he had a great game there. But, I don't know. I don't know. We might take a cue. But, also, our receiving core is terrible. So. Yeah. Like my league neighbors on LSU, maybe. Yeah. He could still be available. And the Washington receiver is also pretty good, too. Yeah. Yeah. Adding on to that. There's, this is a great draft class, in my opinion. Great quarterbacks, great receivers. They're saying this is the best quarterback draft class of all time. It could be. Besides. Also, there's other positions. Yeah. But, also, going into that one draft. Yeah. Adding on to what you said, that the wide receiving core of the Packers is terrible. I think the Bears receiving core is a joke, as well. Like, we have D.J. Moore. But, like, he can't. He can't. He, well, he's a true number one. I think. I think the Bears is better than the Packers. Just because. I agree. Just because of D.J. Moore. If there's no D.J. Moore, it's worse than the Packers. It's like Watson, Reed, or Dobbs. Like. It's just so inconsistent. It's just so inconsistent. That's my opinion on the Packers. They're just inconsistent right now. Quarterback play, receiver play, everything. Yeah, they also had Tay, too. And, like, they had players around them. Honestly, he wasn't even that bad last year with terrible receivers. What are your guys' takes on AFC and NFC? Like, leaders. Like, NFC North, stuff like that. I mean, there's a big game later in a little bit. Philly versus San Fran. That's. That's a huge game. That's a huge game. I think that's pretty much. The deciding factor there. Yeah. Whoever gets the 1-2 over there. Yeah. But, I think, out of the NFC, I think the 1-2 will end up being the Eagles. They're a very well-rounded team. Yeah. They got playmakers everywhere. Great defense. I mean, the Niner is also a case. I think whoever wins that game is going to be number one in the NFC. Yeah. I don't really. Honestly, I thought it was honest with you guys. I don't follow the NFL as much. Yeah. I'm going to have to agree. I check fantasy, but I don't watch NFL that much. Yeah. I watch the Bears play, but, like, I don't really watch any other teams. I'll tune in on Sunday, yeah. Just turn on Red Zone. Yeah. Like, nothing else to do, really. Yeah, just chill, watch football. That's always a good thing to do. But, yeah. And then, for the championships, so, me and Osef Texas on the one side, you got Washington. Other side, we all took Bama, right? I'm taking, I think, Bama, because Michigan does not know how to get out of the first round. They can make the playoff every year, can't get out of the first round. Three years. Three years. This is our third year. Yeah. That was embarrassing. I think I... It was, like, 56 to, like, 10 or something like that. It was embarrassing. But, yeah. So, Osef's matchup, he's got Texas-Bama. Say it with me. What are you thinking? That's going to be an incredible matchup. Yeah. And they got Saban. They got Saban, so, like... He knows how to get his team ready for the playoffs. I mean... I think they could... I mean, I think Washington would beat Bama. Not Bama. I think they could beat Michigan. They could beat Bama, too, but, like... If Bama beats... What's it called? If Bama beats Michigan and Washington beats Texas, no matter what, if Bama wins, I think they're winning, no matter who they play, because I feel like Washington's defense is just a joke. Yeah, I think... Well, I mean, Washington went undefeated, but, like... But, like, I mean, who are their toughest opponents? They had Oregon twice. Two top-five wins against Oregon, so that's very impressive, but, like, who else did they play? They played some of their tough teams, I think. I think they did. I think they had LSU, too. Yeah, they did. Yeah. Let's talk about four states. They had, like... We already talked about this a little bit, but we haven't gone in much depth. They've had a couple... They've actually had some very big wins with Jayden Daniels, but, I mean, who'd they win to? They'd beat Louisville, LSU... That's it. No, there were two more teams. I could have sworn. No, that's it. They didn't beat anyone else besides, like, ACC teams, and the ACC was not good this year, so... It did not really help their case. Maybe Clemson. Yeah, but I think they did play Clemson, but it was not close, because Clemson's not good this year. How about Georgia? I mean, just... They did all they could, but they did not... I think if Georgia... They did not schedule anyone out of conference. Out of conference, they played nobodies. That's what killed them. I just looked it up. You guys are right. They played... Well, I believe Clemson's ranked in L3 losses or something, but they're very, like, almost unranked, and... Yeah, they only beat, like, Notre Dame. They beat them, but according to this website, it doesn't count as a big win. They beat ranked number, maybe, 13 Louisville and 16 LSU, or maybe vice versa. I'm not sure. Yeah. Um... Yeah, they didn't have any top 10 wins. Yeah. So that's... Yeah, all the other teams had top 10 wins, and they made statements. I think with Dan and Daniel, that team would have had a lot of hype. Their fan base is pretty huge, but... I don't know. I don't think it would have been enough to beat Texas or Michigan or one of those powerhouse teams. Yeah, for Georgia, I think it's a lot about when we lose, because, like, they have a lot of Texas. At the start of the year, yeah. Yeah. Well, if Bama wins that game in Week 2, Texas is not in the playoff right now. It's Georgia. Or Georgia or Florida State. Yeah. Was that a win? I mean, I think... One lost Georgia, so... Yeah. I think they would get it over. If Alabama got it over them, Georgia would have gotten it over them. Okay, so... Yeah. Yeah. That was actually good.
