The speaker is excited to discuss the story of Queen Esther and how her decisions aligned with her faith and values. Queen Esther became cautious in approaching the king, as he had the power to decide if she lived or died. She followed her uncle's advice to keep her Jewish identity a secret, and after praying and fasting, she approached the king. The king was impressed by her and offered her anything she desired. However, she knew that material possessions were not enough and wanted something greater. The speaker encourages listeners to make wise choices based on faith and stay inspired to overcome challenges. Come on, come on, come on, put those Holy Ghost feel hands together, let's give God some praise for this music right here. Listen, I'm excited about this second segment about decisions, choices, and outcomes. Listen, we were talking about my girl, Queen Esther, listen, the girl is bad. I want to talk about how she came to becoming Queen, and her journey highlights the importance of aligning your decisions with your faith and your values. She sets the stage of how faith influences decisions. If you're going to make a decision, it needs to be led by a faithful understanding of what you're doing. When she became Queen, she realized that she couldn't even, as Queen, approach the King without taking a risk to her own life. No one could come in the King's presence unannounced without him having the power to decide if you live or die. So this made her cautious in her approach to the King. Listen, so she had a situation. There was another guy in the King's court who wanted to destroy the Jews. And as a result of that, he manipulated the King into issuing a decree that said the Jews would be killed. And her uncle, who was a Jew, she was a Jew that nobody knew about because her uncle said, don't tell people what your ethnicity is. Keep that to yourself. Once the King sees you, he'll choose who you are based on that. And she was wise enough to follow his instruction, and she became Queen. And she approached him after much prayer and fasting. She said, Unc, I can't just walk in on him. These are the rules of engagement. If you walk in unannounced, and he doesn't tell you to come forward with his sentence, you're then put to death. So I got to be wise enough to encounter him. I told you, you need to clarify the situation, and she does. She clarifies where she is in this moment. And so she understands the rules of engagement. How many of us, if we be honest, sometimes we approach authority without understanding the rules of how to approach authority. And so then we end up making authority make a decision about us that has a dire consequence to us. When had we approached right, they never would have made that decision. Sometimes you just need to say, you blew it. I know I have. Maybe you haven't. Well, praise the Lord for your grace. But here we are in Esther, she now tells her uncle, this is what we're going to do. For three days, all of me and my maidservants are going to fast. And I need you and all of the people that are in your camp to fast for me as well. We're going on a three-day fast, so we'll know how to go in and out among this king. And that God will give us favor with this king. Amazing. She's smart. She's using wisdom. She's figuring out what she's counting the cost of what it takes to do this. And after the fast is over, she says, OK, I'm ready to go now. And her uncle says, well, could it be that this, you were made for such a time as this? She said, it's very possible. But I understand what I'm going up against. If I perish, I'm willing to perish. Let me perish. Because I have decided, based on the information that I have in my spirit from God, based on counsel of all of my prayer, based on the multiplicity of counsel with even you, uncle, I'm going in, and I'm going to represent our case before the king. She goes in, and the king sees her, and he says, oh, my goodness. Girl, you look amazing. You look amazing. What is it that I can give you, up to and including half of my kingdom? Now, how you got to look that the man want to give you half of his kingdom? Oh, my God, that's amazing. So we know Esther was a very attractive woman. So here it is, that she has now found favor in the king, and he offers her half of his kingdom. But how many of you know when you're making a decision based on faith, you didn't come here looking for stuff? You came looking for something greater than stuff. Have you ever been in a situation where stuff wasn't enough? Have you ever been in a situation where you needed a healing, you needed something that money couldn't buy, you needed something else? And here it is, you stand before an almighty king who is willing to give you whatever it is you stand in need of. And too many people will now choose wrong because they didn't understand what they were up against. Listen, we're about to take a quick break because this is about to get really good. Because I want to tell you how the system works this time. But I got to listen to some more good gospel music to keep you inspired, keep you going, because you don't just have to be on here with me today. You got a week ahead of you, you will have to make some choices and some decisions. And we want to make sure that you are inspired, that you're enlightened, that you're ready to deal with whatever the enemy throws your way, because you too are going to make a great choice this week to come out on the other side. And guess what? I'll see you on the other side of this good gospel music right here on Salt Radio. And I'll be back after this quick break.
