Charles Monroe Sheldon

Charles Monroe Sheldon was a prominent American minister who played a significant role in the Social Gospel movement. He was also an author who wrote the famous novel, In His Steps. The book's central principle of "What Would Jesus Do?" became extremely popular in the early 20th century and experienced a revival almost a century later.
