Charles Webster Leadbeater was a notable figure in the Theosophical Society and a renowned author on occult topics. He was born on February 16, 1854, and passed away on March 1, 1934. Leadbeater played a significant role in co-founding the Liberal Catholic Church alongside J. I. Wedgwood. Originally a priest in the Church of England, his fascination with spiritualism led him to sever ties with Anglicanism and join the Theosophical Society, where he formed a close association with Annie Besant.
