What kind of a vessel are you? I can tell you which one he wants you to be. Pastor, are you one of those vessels of honor? I keep myself as much as I can. I do everything that I can consciously do to be a vessel of honor. Because being a vessel of honor I would carry his presence. Isaiah chapter 29, verse 13 Isaiah chapter 29, verse 13 Thank you, Abby, you're doing an amazing work. The scripture says The scripture says But his heart is far from me and his fear of me is nothing more than a commandment of men that has been taught to him. I'm going to tell you a truth. You know that most of the time when we go into prayer we don't enter honoring God. We enter like that with your mouth. When we praise God many times we don't go in honoring God. We we do it with our mouths. These these people come to me with their mouths. How does God want those people to come to him? With their heart. These people say they are mine and they honor me with their lips. But their hearts are far from me. I'm going to tell you a truth. Church if you haven't already noticed if you haven't perceived what God is doing in this time God is washing and transforming his church. And he's preparing and teaching us how to walk like the bride that we should become. And within all of this he's teaching us principles to honor him. Honor opens the heavens. Honor releases favor. Honor releases grace. Can you put that verse back? Dishonor dishonor repels God. These people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. And this is what I see on behalf of God. This is what I see that God says y'all you come to me with your mouth and honor me with your lips y'all you come to me with your lips These people come to me with their lips and this is what I hear what God says all I hear is blah blah blah blah blah With their lips they honor me They have a distorted concept concept of honor because honor is birthed from the heart With their lips they honor me but their heart is far from me because the words without heart the words without action are not words is not honor but words with action releases honor Write this down God measures what you give through honor This is so much wisdom God measures what one gives through honor You know that God is watching your offering and I'm not speaking not only of money but biblically there's a story where God would only would sit down and see how people would give just to see how people were giving in case you don't think he's looking to see what it is that you're giving and it doesn't go it's not only in reference to money but it's in reference to how you give everything to him How is it that you give your service? How is it that you give of your sacrifice? He measures your giving through your honor How you honor him is how he measures your giving If on a Wednesday you worked and you were tired and you came home but you instead of canceling your house of peace and you have all the right to do it because but you say I have a covenant with God and a covenant with the people I cannot cancel this and you shake yourself off and you take a shower you refresh yourself and when the people come you don't give them attitude but you serve them with all of your heart that brings honor that is sacrifice Jesus sees that Jesus observes that and that honors God When you come in serving when I see these kids the time that they arrive most of them some of them even played in the morning they have school they have work other adults that have school and work but they come early take of themselves sacrifice they cover one for the other and then they stand up here they may be exhausted but they give everything they have so God can come down that applause is your reward to them but Him that He has another reward greater than your applause and when I see they come they sacrifice they give of themselves they give of themselves so this way God can come and He can touch them but there are people not here in Africa in Indiana I don't know when they go into church they are with their arms crossed they are chewing gum they don't value what they are doing how they are bringing the presence of God and that brings dishonor we are here just a practical example I'm wrapping up because it doesn't sound like you guys are completely John 12, 26 Juan 12, 26 you can put that verse John 12, 26 the Bible says anyone who wants to serve me must follow me because my servants must be where I am and the Father will honor anyone who is the one that is honored those that serve say with me my Father so let me remove a burden from you stop seeking mankind rewards because honor carries a better reward than mankind every time you honor God you are affirming God you affirm Him and who He is you affirm who He is to you as I honor Him I affirm Him that He is my God when you bring your first fruit in the aspects of first fruit to God at the beginning of the year or in the beginning of a business you are affirming that He is your provider He is the one that will provide that is why I bring Him my first fruit because the beginning of the year I understand that I need Him to be my provider I don't know about you but if you want to be your own provider work yourself God wants to provide for you Romans chapter 11 verse 16 we're almost done and since and since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy their descendants will their descendants will also be holy just as the entire batch of dough is holy because the portion given as offering was if the first fruits are holy then the whole batch is holy if the root is holy so are the branches that's so powerful that's so powerful if the first fruits are holy if the rest of the lump is going to be holy then the whole batch is holy that's so powerful that's so powerful that's so powerful that's so powerful that's so powerful that's so powerful that's so powerful that's so powerful that's so powerful
