Brian Rodriguez introduces the Good Vibes Podcast, focused on sports, WWE, and current news events. The first edition is heavily focused on Wrestlemania. Brian and his girlfriend Tasia make predictions for the matches. In the Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley match, Rhea wins. They discuss potential future champions and mention Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. They also talk about a six-team ladder match for the tag team championships, with Grayson Wall and Austin Theory winning. They discuss the match and Tasia's dislike for Grayson Wall. They mention other exciting moments in the match. What's up everybody, I'm Brian Rodriguez here and this is me bringing you the first edition of the Good Vibes Podcast. Woohoo! Cheers! Yay! I would say it louder but I don't want to mess the audio up. But yeah, the Good Vibes Podcast basically is just something revolving around sports, WWE and just any other current news events happening in the world. But I will say this edition will be heavily focused on WWE because we're going to be talking about Wrestlemania and if you do not know what that is, that is basically the Super Bowl of WWE. It takes place once a year and it is the biggest event when it comes to the WWE. So that will be the main focus of this podcast and that is going to take up the whole podcast. I'm here with my girlfriend Tasia. Say hi Tasia. Hi! Yeah, so me and my girlfriend, we watch WWE together. You know, it's something that me and her both love and I'm going to let her introduce herself. Well, I'm Tasia, I'm 18 and I have a cat named Menace. We both have a cat named Menace. Right now she is messing up some cat food over there but she must just be hungry I guess, you know? No, no. So what me and Tasia are going to do here now, we're just going to, we made predictions before each match for Wrestlemania and we're going to go through those predictions, see whether we got it right or wrong and then just see how we felt about the match, whether we liked it or not, if we liked who won. So yeah, the first match of Wrestlemania was Becky Lynch versus Rhea Ripley and to explain to anyone who might not know who they are, Becky Lynch is basically this veteran when it comes to WWE. She's been there a while. She's won a bunch of championships and Rhea Ripley is this new upcomer. She just started and she's on the top. She is arguably the greatest woman wrestler in the world. So yeah, it was really a story of the young buck versus the old head, Becky Lynch is really an old head. So yeah, that's basically what their feud was about. In the build-up to Wrestlemania, they were just fighting, Becky saying she needed to prove herself to Rhea and Rhea saying, you don't have to prove yourself to me. I know I'm better. So yeah, in the match, Rhea ended up taking the win and me and Tasia both predicted that. Good job. Yeah, so me and Tasia predicted that and the actual match, so apparently Becky Lynch was competing with like over 100 degree fever, which as you can imagine would limit someone's ability to compete. So the match wasn't that too memorable, but it was a match. It could have been worse. It could have been better, you know. Yeah, Rhea ended up taking the dub and that's what me and Tasia both wanted, right? Yeah. Yeah. I knew Rhea was going to win. She had the title for a year and she was pretty good at it, you know, keeping it. And I don't think Becky Lynch could have taken it from her, even though she had the fever. I just feel like she wasn't as strong enough to take it away from her. Yeah, no, that's a really good point that I forgot to mention. Rhea has held that title for a year and that's just not something that's too common in WWE. You usually have someone holding that title for two or three months. Rhea's been really, really dominant with it. And you know, I thought if it could be anyone, it would have been Becky, but I was wrong. Rhea's still got that title and we'll just see whenever she loses it, I guess. Well, Tasia, if we don't think Becky could take it off of her, like in the future, who do you think could? Charlotte Flair. She's pretty good. Yeah. Didn't she have something for like 14 times? Yeah. Charlotte Flair is a very good option. Charlotte Flair is a 14-time champion and that is very, very high in WWE. Not many people come close to that. Only some legends like John Cena, which I feel like if you're listening, you know who John Cena is. He's just, he transcends the wrestling business. But yeah, Charlotte Flair is basically Becky Lynch in terms of being a veteran, but multiply that by three. Yeah. Charlotte, yeah, Charlotte is just on a different level. She just has this star power and this aura about her that makes her the star. Her father is also Ric Flair. You might know, you might not, but yeah, Ric Flair, he created a good one, I guess. But yeah, Charlotte, I could definitely see her taking it off Rhea. Someone else, I think, Bianca Belair. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Bianca. She's pretty good. So, we said Charlotte and Becky are alike, the same could go for Bianca and Rhea. Bianca is not a newcomer. Bianca and Rhea have been in WWE for like three years, but they're both staking their claims saying, Becky and Charlotte, it's our time. You're not the champions or y'all aren't the main ones anymore. They're definitely taking over now and Bianca is really good. Bianca, the crowd just loves her. Me and Tayshia love her. Bianca has this long braid that she has when she comes out and she just swings it around and me and Tayshia just do it every now and then and sing her theme songs because Bianca just is lovable, like the fans just love her and that goes for most fans. So, yeah, Bianca, Charlotte, I don't really know anyone else. I don't think there's anyone else. Yeah, Rhea's just that kind of person. Yeah. And our next match on the WrestleMania card was a six-team ladder match for the tag team championships. If you don't know WWE, tag team ladder matches are very exciting and that just comes with legends that have made that match so good. Those legends were the Dudley Boys, the Hardy Boys, and Edge and Christian. Back in the early 2000s, they just revolutionized tag team wrestling with their amazing ladder matches. I recommend going to watch those matches if you can. The WWE has almost every single one of their matches on Peacock that has happened in WWE, so I recommend giving that a look. They're really exciting. They're the personification of the word extreme, so yeah, I'd watch that. But let's get back to the actual match that happened in WrestleMania. The six teams that we had were DIY, The Judgment Day, Awesome Truth, New Catch Republic, Grayson Wall and Austin Theory, or they're really called A-Town Down Under, and The New Day. Six really exciting teams in their own way. And to give some clarification to this match, The Judgment Day, there are two sets of tag titles in the WWE, and The Judgment Day at that time held both sets of titles, so really each team was competing for one set of titles, either the Raw titles or the SmackDown titles. You just want to grab which one you can grab first. And the predictions that me and Tasia gave were that I predicted The Awesome Truth, which consists of R-Truth and In The Miz, we're going to grab at least one set of titles, and Tasia predicted DIY. Now only one of us predicted correctly. Tasia, do you want to tell them who that was? You. Yes. Tasia ended up grabbing one set of titles, but DIY did not. DIY was close. DIY was very close. DIY is a very good team. Yes. Thank you. When they say DIY, I don't think their name is do-it-yourself. Uh, they've said it before, it's like some inspirational stuff, like Inspire is what I stand for, I think, but back to the match, you know. And A-Town Down Under, Grayson Wall and Austin Theory, those are their names, Grayson Wall and Austin Theory ended up getting the other set of titles, the SmackDown titles. How did you feel about that match, Tasia? Did you like it? Was it exciting? It was exciting. I just didn't like how Grayson Wall and Austin Theory kind of like cheated their way to get the titles. I just thought it was really, I did not like that, like it was just a waste of like titles given, because they're not good in my opinion. Oh, you don't think they're good? No. I think they're, you know I love Grayson Wall. He's not good. He cheats his way to win. That's the point though, he's a heel, you're supposed to hate him, you want to know what that means? He's doing his job. Grayson Wall, I just love him, when he gets on that mic, he will insult anybody. Me and Tasia were at a show and during the commercial break, he pointed at a guy in the crowd, rubbed his stomach and said, in his Australian accent, loose and white fatso! That was more of a British accent for me, but you get the gist, Grayson Wall, he will go after anybody. I just love that about him. Sure, sure, he does good with what he's supposed to do. Exactly. I still don't like him though. That's fair. But yeah, what happened, A-Town Down Under grabbed their titles first, it was about like 5, 10 minutes into the match, sorry about that break guys, our cat menace was getting into a bag, you know, doing her thing, she was really trying to get in there, but you know, we have fixed that problem, she is free to do anything else but that, and back to our regularly scheduled programming, yeah. So where was I? A-Town Down Under grabbed their titles about 5, 10 minutes into the match, and the match continued because you know, there's two sets of titles, the match doesn't end until both sets of titles are grabbed, and sorry, just something happening on our TV, a little break there, but yeah, they grabbed their titles and after that, the match got really exciting, there's a lot of high-flying moves from all teams, new Catch Republic, they consist of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne is this scrappy little dude who will fight anyone and jump off of anything, yeah, anytime he's in a match, he'll get ready for some sort of backflip off a ladder, or backflip off of the top rope, yeah, I agree, I think whenever he's in a match, it becomes really entertaining, yeah, that's a great way to put it, and I remember him and Johnny Gargano from DIY, they got on that ladder, and they basically flipped each other off, not like the bird, sorry, they basically grabbed each other and pulled each other off the ladder, and they went through another ladder on their way down, it's just, the things those guys put their bodies through, even though wrestling is fake, we all know it's fake, sometimes the pain is real, there's no way you can get put through a table onto like padded concrete, even though it's padded, I know that still hurts, I definitely wouldn't want to be put through that, the things they do for entertainment is off the charts, but yeah, the match ended up with The Awesome Truth, R-Truth and The Miz grabbing the set of Raw titles, and R-Truth is a veteran when it comes to WWE, I believe he is four, no, he's over 50 years old, yeah, I think he's 52 years old, and he's been in WWE for well over 20 years, and he's never really gotten a WrestleMania moment where he gets to celebrate it from the crowd he won a title, he finally got that 20 years into his career, so it was just really nice to see R-Truth get his flowers in this match, you know, you gotta love it, that's R-Truth, and R-Truth, let me explain a little bit more to someone who might not know, R-Truth is the funniest dude in WWE, yeah, he wants to be a part of the Judgment Day, and he keeps thinking, oh yeah, that has been a reoccurring storyline since from November to April when WrestleMania happened, R-Truth believes he is a part of the Judgment Day, no matter how many times that group beats that man up, he will say, oh, I just got initiated, no, they just don't like you, but it's just, it's not annoying at all, it's not, it is hilarious what that man does, and yeah, it was just finally nice to see him get some appreciation and some recognition, but on another note, I don't want him holding those titles, yeah, I just feel like both of the titles, like, they were given to pretty bad people, I wish DIY got one set of titles, and honestly, the Judgment Day, they had the other one, well, the thing with the Judgment Day is, like, it looks like they're splitting up, like, Rhea is injured, they're about to give her title away in a battle royal, so, when we said what we said, we were talking about who would take it off of her in a normal match, unfortunately, Rhea got injured by a lady named Liv Morgan, who we don't like now, we like Rhea, not Liv, so Rhea here, I don't know much about Liv, I don't even know who she is, she's a nobody, but yeah, with Rhea Ripley gone, she was kind of the clue of the Judgment Day, who has four other members, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dirty Dom, Dominic Mysterio, and JD McDonough, the Funko Pop, because his head is really big on his little body, according to Cody Rhodes, but yeah, with her being gone, the Judgment Day don't seem like they're gonna last much longer, unfortunately. We like the Judgment Day too. Yeah, we like the Judgment Day a lot, I have a, TJ got me a Judgment Day shirt for Christmas that I really wanted, I just like the Judgment Day that much. And a purple hoodie. I have a purple hoodie that I call my Judgment Day hoodie, because the Judgment Day's main color are purple and black, and I call my purple hoodie my Judgment Day hoodie, because it just reminds me of the Judgment Day, but yeah, you know, that was an exciting match, and we want to move on here, our next match to happen was Rey Mysterio and Andrade versus Santos Escobar and Dirty Dom. So to give clarification, you might know who Rey Mysterio is, he's been in the business a long time, he is a Mexican luchador, he wears that famous mask he always does, and Dirty Dominic Mysterio is his son. Yeah. And Dirty Dom thinks Rey is a deadbeat dad, he's the worst dad he's ever had, oh whoa whoa, but really, Dominic is just a POS. Period. I'm not gonna say what that is, hopefully you know what that is. But yeah, Tasia predicted that Rey and Andrade would win, and I predicted that Santos and Dom would win. I predicted right. Yeah, I forgot what my reasoning was for them winning. One thing I do want to talk about at the end of the match, Rey and Andrade got a little help from Jason Kelsey and Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles, yes. I remember that, that was cool. They were both wearing masks, we were like, who is this? I had no idea who it was, I thought it was someone making their debut in WWE or returning. Yeah, we had no idea it was going to be someone from football. Yeah, they got in that ring and they looked huge compared to everyone in that ring. Then we found that it's Rey, or not Rey Mysterio, Jason Kelsey and Lane Johnson. I was like, oh, I mean I guess it's cool. WrestleMania took place in Philadelphia, I'm sure that's why they were out, but it was definitely unexpected. But yeah, it was a normal match, you know, nothing really flashy to talk about. There were other good, I wouldn't say boring. Boring. Okay, well, yeah, it was just a normal match, you know, it did its job. It definitely, get a look back on it as a bad match, it was like, yeah, it happened. Yeah. All right, next up on the card we have Jey Uso versus Jimmy Uso. If you haven't noticed, those two guys have the same last names because they're twin brothers. So basically, the reason why they're fighting each other instead of being team, or being partners, they were partners, I think they were tag team partners for over 10 years. But Jimmy Uso got jealous of Jey's success in the WWE and thought that he deserved everything Jey was having. So basically, he stopped Jey's ability for winning a championship. Last year in August, at an event called SummerSlam, Jey interfered, or Jimmy interfered in Jey's match and stopped him from winning the championship. And from then their bond was never the same. Anytime they saw each other, it was on site, fighting each other. So yeah, that's what led to their ultimate feud here at WrestleMania. And a match that I thought was going to be better, honestly, Tasia. How'd you, how'd you feel about it? I liked it because we got to see Jey become emotional because they're brothers and he really didn't want to have this match. He just wanted them to like team up and, you know, go back to how they used to be. But Jimmy ended up backstabbing him during the fight and Jey ended up winning, but I still think he didn't want that like at all. So it was kind of, you know, a nice brotherly love kind of match. Yeah, it was kind of boring, but I liked it. Yeah, I see what you mean. Yeah, you know, I just, just what happened to me is I really hyped this match up because I know what Jey and Jimmy are capable of. Throughout the years, they've put on amazing matches, whether it be tag team matches or solo matches. I just thought the match itself was going to be better. The fighting part, but yeah, the emotions. Yeah. Yeah. The storyline part was really good. You could definitely tell there was a story there and you knew what the story was. You, you know, it was really good, but me and Tasia did both predict for Jey to win and that is what happened. Jey, Jey super kicked Jimmy. He gave him a spear and he gave him a Uso splash. If you don't know what those are, I would show you, but you cannot see me. So in our next match on this first night of WrestleMania, we have Jade Cargill, Naomi and Bianca Belair versus Damage Control, who consists of Asuka, Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane. Just to give a little background information, Damage Control is, you know, this group, they're basically bad guys or bad girls. You know, they cheat to win, they do whatever they got to do to win and they're not really liked by the crowd. And then Jade, Naomi and Bianca, the complete opposite. Everyone loves them. I've already talked to you about Bianca Belair. We were talking about the Rhea Ripley match. Bianca Belair is just loved and same goes for Naomi. She's been in WWE for a while, maybe 10 years about that. You know, everyone knows who she is. They love her. Jade Cargill, Jade Cargill is the brand new shiny toy when it comes to WWE. She is just, she's really good and the star power she already has. When she comes out, you just know this girl's a star and she has, you don't even got to see her, you don't even got to see her wrestle. You're just like, damn, just her. She's just good. How do you feel about Jade Cargill, Tasia? Um, I've never heard of her before and so a little before WrestleMania, but I think she's really good. You know, like you said, when she comes out, you can already know she's about to, you know, mess stuff up. Yeah. Yeah. When, so this match, Naomi and Bianca got their licks in on Damage Control. Then after that, Damage Control just started controlling the match. They wouldn't let Bianca tag any of her partners. And that's just what it was. Bianca getting so close to tagging Jade and no, then pulling her back or pulling Jade off the mat. All of this match was, was a buildup to getting Jade Cargill in. And once Jade got in, Damage Control stood no chance whatsoever. And they ended up winning. Yeah. Jade hit her move. She got her WrestleMania moment. I think in her first match in WWE, that just shows a lot. No one gets, we just talked about how R-Truth waited 20 years to get his moment. Jade Cargill got it in her first match. Yeah. You know, she's special. Yeah. Me and her, me and Tasia both predicted for Jade, Naomi and Bianca to win. We both got that right. Yeah. And coming up next is a match that I think Tasia has a lot to say about. It is the Intercontinental Champion, Gunther and Sami Zayn. Gunther was the Intercontinental Championship. He held the Intercontinental Championship for 666 days. Yes. That is a weird number. Yeah. But you know, we're going to look past that. He was on a reign of terror. No one could stop Gunther. This man dominated every match. You know, usually when you have a champion, you know, it looks like the challenger said he was going to get close to win at one point. No. Not with Gunther. Gunther dominated every match he was in for about a year and a half, almost two. So when it was time for this match at WrestleMania versus Sami Zayn, we thought it was going to be the same. Another squash match, you could call it. Yeah. And Gunther walking out. But that's just not going to work with Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn's brand, his personality is that he is this ultimate underdog. And if anyone can do anything, it is Sami Zayn. Don't you agree with me, Tasia? No. No? No, I'm kidding. I'll let Tasia voice her opinion on Sami Zayn here real quick. Okay. So Sami Zayn, I feel like he should have not beat Gunther because Gunther is this big, tall, massive man. Like, he gives these chops to your chest and they're like, you know, he just does massive man shit, you know? Sami Zayn, he's just tall. He's like a little gnome with ginger hair and he just sucks. And I just feel like it was so unfair. And like out of all people, why choose Sami Zayn to beat Gunther? It just doesn't make sense. Yeah. I've got to agree with Tasia to a certain extent there. And Sami Zayn was gone for a long time, comes back and wins a title. Like he's just not the guy for that. Like Brock Lesnar could have. Anybody but Sami Zayn, I feel like. Yeah. Sami, he was injured there for a while and also he just wasn't doing much for a while there. So he just beat Gunther. I didn't think there was a lot of buildup to it. I think they could have built it up more. It was really random, like it was a random fight. Yeah, I agree. The only thing that keeps me going is thinking that Gunther is the one to move on to bigger and better things after this. Oh yeah, I forgot because that little title he had wasn't like too big. Yeah, he had like a secondary championship. I want Gunther to move into the primary. He needs Chloe Rose championship. Yeah, I just wish it wasn't Sami Zayn that beat him because if you showed me Sami Zayn can't handle him for money on a corner, I would fully believe he is a homeless man. That's just how Sami looks. And it's not a knock to him. Sami is just better than me in probably many things. I'm not knocking him, but I'm just saying he just doesn't look believable to be a WWE superstar, let alone a champion. And I also like his intro song. It's just like, you know, it's like a little bit, let's go. Yeah, Jay just compares his entrance theme to Mario. He says it sounds like Mario. Like it's just, it doesn't give Gunther. Yeah, Gunther was good at what he did. Sami Zayn, I just feel like it was just thrown together at last minute. I don't know. I guess. I really don't know. I guess Gunther had to fight someone. Yeah, he did. Just pick Sami Zayn. Yeah, Sami is a veteran in the business. He's been with WWE for about 10 years, but he's wrestled for more than 20. He's been wrestling in different companies for a long time. They just need to fix him up, like make him better. Like they make him look so weak, even though he's like the underdog. He still doesn't seem good. Like, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. Well, Sammy, he definitely has the crowd behind him. You know, people love. Yeah, people love Sammy. I don't know how people not named Tasia love Sammy. Yeah, but I can definitely understand her saying it shouldn't have been Sammy. I agree with that to a certain extent. I'm just glad that Gunther gets to do better things than this because he gets a little break too because he's been had for so long. Yeah, he does. He deserves him a break after holding that title for 666 days. Yeah, he just had a child, I think in January. Yeah, a mini Gunther. Cannot wait to see the havoc that mini Gunther can wreak in about 20 years in WWE. That is going to be a beast. But yeah, Gunther now gets to do better things, hopefully. I believe he said he's going to enter the King of the Ring tournament, which is basically just a tournament and whoever wins it is called the King of the Ring. There's really nothing important about it. It's just historical. It's gone on in WWE for 20 years now. Everyone who wins it, you know, they usually after that do better, you know, they get to do better things. Yeah. So yeah, Gunther should win King of the Ring, hopefully. Hopefully, that is what they have in store for him. I say just put him up against Cody Rhodes now, have him beat Cody. I think Gunther would like that. But no, I guess Cody needs his time with the title too. And Gunther. Yeah, Cody had to finish his story. We're spoiling a lot here. Sorry, sorry. But yeah, Gunther, the only thing keeping me happy about this match is hoping Gunther gets to do bigger and better things. And now with the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania, we have the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, teaming with the revolutionary, the visionary Seth freaking Rollins. Yeah, Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes is whoa. And Seth Rollins is whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay, sorry. And they took on The Bloodline, Roman Reigns, and The Rock. You might know who The Rock is from. Movies, very good movies. They weren't good at first when he started acting, but now The Rock is everywhere. He's really famous for what he does. If you don't know him from being in WWE, you might know him from being best friends with Kevin Hart. Dwayne Johnson. Yeah, Dwayne, The Rock Johnson. Yeah, Dwayne. I'm just gonna call him The Rock. I'm not gonna call him Dwayne. I don't know this man. But yeah, The Rock, he got his start in WWE. That's where he started his career acting and wrestling. And he is a legend in the business. He was the one of the most prominent figures of the Attitude Era, which is famously the best era of WWE, which took place from about the mid-1990s to about 2001, 2002. I'm not sure of the exact dates here. But yeah, The Rock, he was the face of the company for a long time. And so he decided to leave and pursue acting. Boo! Why would you do that, Rock? We love you. He don't care. He's a Rock. He does what he wants. He's good at acting. Very good at acting. But yes, he came back and teamed with Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins because he felt that Cody Rhodes was disrespecting the Samoan family, the Samoan bloodline. I remember that. Yeah. So he decided, we're gonna take you two jabronis on. He likes calling people jabronis. We're gonna take you two jabronis on. And this match has some stakes to it because, as you remember Tasia, Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble this year. And he chose to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship. And I will talk more about that when we talk about the Cody Rhodes versus Roman Reigns solo match. But just know Roman Reigns is a god when it comes to wrestling, basically. Yeah. He's very good. But yeah, this match has some stakes. If the bloodline won, then the match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns would be bloodline rules. Meaning anything goes, anything can happen. There are no disqualifications. He can bring in the bloodline to help him out. Yeah, anyone was allowed to help Roman out. And if Cody and Seth Rollins won, it'd just be a one-on-one match between Cody and Roman. No interference, no interruptions, nothing. Well. Well. Me and Tasia both predicted the bloodline was gonna win. And we ended up being correct. Yes. So it was bloodline rules for the second night. Yes, the main event of night two did end up being Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. And that match was bloodline rules. That sounds very hard, bloodline rules. That sounds very tough if I like it. But yeah, you know, it was a long match. I think this match was like 30 or 40 minutes. Yeah. People didn't think The Rock had this in him. He's about... I think The Rock is younger than R-Truth still. He did better than CM Punk's match with Cody Rhodes. Oh, CM Punk, yes. Wasn't that the Royal Rumba? Yeah, they had a little scuffle in the Royal Rumba on CM Punk. He wrestled recently. He looks so old. Yeah. Was not good. Poor guy. But The Rock did better. The Rock impressed me a lot. I didn't think he had it in him. He put on a very good match. So kudos for The Rock on that. But yeah, I believe we can talk more about this when we talk about the actual match. So more to come on that. And after that match, we move on to night two of WrestleMania. And the opening match was Seth Rollins versus Drew McIntyre. Tiesha, what happened in that match? Okay, so well, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre beat Seth Rollins. He did really good. I thought he deserved to win. And Seth Rollins did too. He was like, you deserved it. Well, CM Punk was on commentary. Yeah, CM Punk was the special guest commentator. Yeah. And Drew McIntyre don't like CM Punk. Well, he goes up to CM Punk and he's like, ha ha, I got the title. Well, Damian Priest comes in and cashes in his little cash box money thing. The money in the bank briefcase. Yeah. Yeah. And he takes the title away from Drew McIntyre and just snatches it. He had it for like five minutes, maybe, Drew McIntyre. Yeah. And CM Punk was just, you know, smiling like, ha ha, you know. So yeah, I think Drew and CM Punk are gonna hopefully have a match in the future. That would be really good. Yes. I feel like Drew McIntyre should have had the title, though. I feel like it was messed up for him to have it for like five minutes. Well, embarrassing. What happened was Drew McIntyre, he is one, he's had a WrestleMania moment before. But when that happened, it was during the pandemic. So he had to celebrate his win in front of an empty arena. And, you know, that's just not fulfilling. But I think the reason they did this was, you know, he gets to have this moment where there will only be five minutes long or so. You know, that's where they get stuff. Drew McIntyre injured CM Punk in the Royal Rumble. And he's just been bragging about it since the Royal Rumble to WrestleMania. And he's been getting under CM Punk's skin. And he doesn't care. He's being an internet troll, saying anything he wants about CM Punk on social media. Because he can, he's Drew McIntyre. Yeah. And that's why CM Punk was on special guest commentary. Because he had this connection with Drew McIntyre because of what happened. So Drew puts on a good match, him and Seth Bell put on a good match. Drew wins the title. So I guess it's like since he injured CM Punk, CM Punk kind of got his get back. Oh, yeah. Damian Priest, you know, took it away from Drew and he got to see it. Yeah. Yeah. Drew was doing a bit too much. He... Yeah, he was all on his face. He got on the table, squatted down in front of CM Punk and held the title right in front of his face. Just basically gloating to CM Punk. Then as soon as Drew turned his back to CM Punk, Punk just grabs his feet and sweeps them off the table. Yeah. And then he takes the brace off his injured arm that Drew injured and just hits Drew McIntyre with it. And he's out. Then out of nowhere, you hear the music of Damian Priest, who is the holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase. Basically, just like jumped up. Yeah, we were really excited. Basically, he gets a guaranteed title match whenever he wants, wherever he wants. And he took, he did it at a very good time, I'd say. He got to injured Drew McIntyre. He wasn't injured, but he was, it was a hurt Drew McIntyre, a tired Drew McIntyre. Yeah, he just did a full match and then got beat by CM Punk. Yeah, he gives Drew, Damian Priest gives Drew his finisher, the Staff to Heaven Choke Slam. It's a very good finisher. I like it. And he gets his WrestleMania moment, winning the title of Drew McIntyre, who had it for five minutes. I think Damian Priest having that actually is okay because you said he was in WWE for a while and he finally got his little moment. Damian? Yeah, Damian Priest. Damian Priest, he's wrestled for a while. He's like a family situation. He's wrestled other places for a very long time. I think he joined WWE in 2018. Yeah, it's a worthy of a moment. Damian Priest is a very talented man. And I had my doubts about him winning that title at first, but I think it's okay. I think he will do just fine. I have faith in him to be a good champion. And I think he can do it. They just need to fix his look. Yeah, so if you're well, I think most a lot of people know about The Undertaker. And Damian Priest, he's been called bisexual Undertaker. I guess because he paints his nails and has purple in his hair. Unless he's part of the Judgment Day, you know, they're purple. But yeah, the Judgment Day, they're kind of like dark and mysterious. Yeah, the Judgment Day, they're kind of like dark and emo. You could really compare them to the goth kids in school in the corner, just with a little bit more violence. But yeah, he was getting called bisexual Undertaker on the internet. And that that's funny to me. I won't lie. It's kind of funny. Yeah. But yeah, the real big loser of this match though is Seth Rollins. He loses night one to the Bloodline. Then he loses to Drew McIntyre. But this gives Seth the very deserved break. You know, he was good with the title, but it's also good that someone else finally gets to have it. Yes. Yes, I agree with that too. Seth, he was injured his whole title and he was holding that title on his back, doing whatever he can. But that title was created a year ago. And the whole reason that title was created was because, you know, they wanted more talent to have an opportunity to showcase who they are with that title. And Seth holding that title for a year just is the opposite of what they wanted. So I'm glad someone else has it. Hopefully more people get to get this title, which happened to people in one night. That's what I like to see. But yeah, Seth, thank you for what you've done. You are a legend. You'll come back. I'm talking like you're gone forever. You're coming back. Seth Rollins is going to come back, get his get back on whoever it may be. And he'll come back stronger than ever. And our next match in WrestleMania was called the Philadelphia Street Fight. We had Team Bobby Lashley, which consisted of Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford, Angela Dawkins. Yes, Montez and Angela Dawkins are called the Street Prophets. I should have said that. And they took on the Final Testament, which consists of Karrion Kross and the Authors of Pain, Akam and Rezar. The Final Testament are like this, I want to say religious, philosophical group that are, they're not weird. It's just like, yeah, I didn't know what else other words to say. But yeah, you know, they're, they're, they're a character. They're the kind of like, representing doomsday, I'd say. I don't know. Like when they come out, it's like black and white. Yeah, when they come out, it's like black and white. It's like grunge. Yeah, grunge is good. They're like black and white in slow motion. It's just like, oh, okay. They, they definitely catch your eye. Kind of scary. Yeah. So here we are talking about this real serious tag team, right? Guess who comes to special guest commentary on this match? Do you want to say it, Tasia? Snoop D-O-double G. Snoop Dogg comes out to commentary on this match. And instead of having the fans take it seriously, they're just laughing the entire time with Snoop Dogg on commentary. It's funny. Yes, it was hilarious. Comedic relief. Yes. Comedic relief. Yes. I couldn't tell you an exact quote Snoop Dogg said, but me and Tasia were just laughing the entire time. It just made it way better, honestly. Yeah. I feel like if the Snoop wasn't there, I'd just be bored. Yeah, I could see that. But yeah, Team Bobby, who were the good guys, ended up taking the win. Yeah. They had a special guest referee, Bubba Ray Dudley, who was a part of the Dudley Boys. Yeah, he ended up telling them like how to finish off Karrion Kross's team. It was so funny. They have, they did Bubba Ray Dudley's old finisher move with his own tag team partner, D-Lon Dudley, called the 3D, and Team Bobby did the 3D on Karrion Kross and got the win. So yeah, it was just, it was a nice change of pace from all the serious matches I guess we've gotten. Yeah. And it was really funny. It was very entertaining. That was probably the most entertaining one. Yeah, entertaining, yeah. I don't know. I think the main event of this night, Cody Rosen, was pretty entertaining too. Well, I still like this one because Snoop Dogg made it really funny. He did. And I love funny stuff. Yeah. But our next match that we have coming was L.A. Knight versus AJ Styles. Yeah. Yeah. That's L.A. Knight's catchphrase. What did he say again, Tasia? L.A. Knight, yeah. L.A. Knight. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, sorry. We just love L.A. Knight and his household. But yeah, we, we haven't even talked about our predictions for it. Whoops. Oh, well. I predicted AJ Styles, and he predicted, predicted L.A. Knight. Yeah, I predicted it for L.A. Knight to get the win. And I ended up being correct. L.A. Knight got the win here. But this wasn't the end of their feud, because now L.A. Knight and AJ Styles competed recently this past Friday to see who gets to face Cody Rose for the championships. Oops, spoiler. Hopefully, you already watched WrestleMania. But yeah, we, we get, we got to see L.A. Knight versus AJ Styles again. And AJ Styles ended up beating L.A. Knight the second time around, not at WrestleMania, to go on to face Cody Rose in the future. But yeah, for this match, L.A. Knight took the first round. He won at WrestleMania. He got a big WrestleMania moment. L.A. Knight, who was very popular with the fans. L.A. Knight. Yeah. And our next match is a triple threat for the United States Championship. Logan Paul. It consisted of Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and the current United States Championship, Logan Paul. Wait, Logan Paul? Logan Paul? He's not in WWE. Oh, yes, he is. And he's really good. He is amazing at what he does. Yes. He went from making YouTube videos and vlogging. I used to watch him when I was little. Oh, he used to love Logan Paul. Yeah. So it's kind of cool. Yeah. Logan Paul, surprisingly, is very good at being a WWE superstar. And I love it. You know, he's good on the mic, he's good in the ring. He puts on an entertaining match. He's a little snively cheater. But, you know, that's his job. He plays his character well. Yeah. So basically, in this match, it was really Kevin Owens and Randy Orton versus Logan Paul. They basically ganged up on him. And once Logan Paul was down and out, Kevin and Randy just kind of turned to each other. Do you want to fight? Sure. They just start fighting each other because that's just the type of people they are. I don't know. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, they were like, oh, it's just us two. So like Kevin Owens turns his back and like Randy does his like. Oh, yeah. They call it the viper, like sneaky. Yeah. And that's how they start fighting. Yeah. Randy Orton was about to attack Kevin. Kevin's like, look, don't sneak attack me. Let's just fight. Randy's like, okay. And they just start fighting. Gotta love it. But I forgot exactly what the. No, I didn't forget. You remember who came out in the prime bottle in this match? Speed. I Show Speed was involved in this match. He starts barking at Randy Orton and saying Ronaldo is better. Yeah. From soccer. I believe that Randy Orton was about to beat Logan Paul and pin him for the title. Then there was this mascot dressed in the prime bottle. You couldn't see their face or anything. And they just pull Logan Paul out of the ring, saving him. And then they take off their mask and it's I Show Speed. He just gets in Randy Orton's face and says, Ronaldo is better. And Randy Orton just sparks and kicks him. And then he gives him an RKO to the announce table, which is a pretty cool moment. We get to see Logan Paul and I Show Speed in WWE. I Show Speed is like a streamer, right? Yeah. He is a Twitch streamer. Yeah. That's who he is. Yeah. That's where he started. He's really big now. He's gotten to meet people like Ronaldo, his hero. Yeah, that is his hero. Yeah. So that's why he took the grand platform of WrestleMania to say to everyone watching, Ronaldo is better. Yeah. At the end of the day, my prediction was right. I predicted Logan Paul. Brian predicted Kevin Owens. He lost. I thought Kevin Owens was going to win because him and Sami Zayn are the best of friends. I thought it'd be a cool picture to see Kevin and Sami both winning championships in WrestleMania. Nope. Yep. Womp womp. Yeah. So, you know, Logan Paul did get the win. He's an amazing champion. I'm happy he won. You know, he's gonna do great things with that title. But once again, I cannot wait to see him lose it. I just, it's not because it's Logan Paul. I just like seeing new champions. I don't know. Well, he's not really around anyways, so. Yeah, they want him to be around more. He signed like a full-time contract. Yeah, so he'll, Logan Paul will start being on your TVs more, hopefully. I wanna see him live. One day. One day. One day. Bye. And our next match on the card was Bayley versus EOS Guy. To give you some background about this match, Bayley and EOS Guy used to be in the same group, Damage Control. Yeah, Damage Control. And yeah, you know, they were in that group. We've already talked about Damage Control, but Bayley won the Royal Rumble, which guarantees you a match against the champion of your choosing at WrestleMania. And she didn't know who to choose, you know? But that decision was kind of made for her when Damage Control turned on Bayley and they all attacked her. And it was like, well, why did y'all do that? They just didn't like Bayley, apparently. EOS Guy, Asuka, and Kairi Sane are all Japanese, and they would just say comments in Japanese behind Bayley's back because they thought she couldn't understand her, which Bayley revealed to not be true. Apparently, she understood them the whole time and knew what they were saying about her. So yeah, that's why Bayley kind of chose to face EOS Guy, her former partner at WrestleMania. And as me and Teja both predicted, Bayley got the dub. Me and Teja, honestly, didn't pay much attention to this match. I saw Bayley's intro, because they all have their little intros when they come out with their music, and I saw Bayley's, and it was the corniest thing ever. So I just got on my phone, really. It didn't seem like it was going to be good, so I don't really have much to say about this. Yeah, Bayley came out to an Egyptian thing. Yeah, I don't know, like, apparently, well, she's from San Jose, I think, and apparently it's to honor this museum over there, which is, like, the weirdest thing. But, you know, it's each her own. I'm not on WrestleMania. Bayley gets the ability to do whatever she wants, so. But yeah, I guess I was just one burnt out from all the matches we've seen already, and I was looking forward to the match after this, which is Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Basically, the match that everyone wanted to watch. But yeah, me and Tasia did both predict Bayley to take the title off of Yosuke, and that is what happened. Yes, Bayley got her moment, but the match we're going to talk about next is the match of all matches. The match to finish the story. The main event of WrestleMania. Roman Reigns, the undisputed champion for over three years, versus Cody Rhodes, the American man. Nah, he's not a pipsqueak. You're a Cody crybaby. That's what his fans are called, apparently, according to the world. You're a Cody crybaby. I am a proud Cody crybaby. But yes, this match was amazing, both in terms of wrestling ability and the storytelling it showed. The match was about 40 minutes long, and we talked about how this match was bloodline rules, because the bloodline won the night before, so anything goes. Anything was allowed, anything could happen, and there would be no stopping the match, no disqualification. So I believe what happens first is Cody and Roman are kind of at a stalemate. They've both done their damage to each other, and then Jimmy Uso comes out. No, not first. He did come out, just not first. Okay, Jimmy Uso. Jimmy Uso comes out, and before he can even get to the ring to help Roman, Jay comes out. Jay Uso comes out, messes him up, and he spears him off the stage. Yeah, off the stage where they walk in. Yeah, off the stage. Onto the table. It had like a 10-foot drop, too. I won't lie. It was like, it was pretty cool. That was taken care of, and then The Rock comes out. No, no. Then Follow Sokoa comes out. Follow Sokoa is another member of the bloodline. He's the enforcer. I do not remember them coming out at all. He comes out and helps Roman, you know. They do this little double move they have. Solo jams his thumb into someone's throat, and then Roman spears him. The Samoan spike? The Samoan spike, yeah, and they do that to Cody. Cody kicks out of it, though. You want to know why? He's the American freaking nightmare. He kicks out of that, and Solo tells Roman, come on. Come on, get him. But before Solo can do anything, you want to know whose music hits? Whose? John Cena's. John, wait, huh? I thought The Rock came out. No, not yet. John Cena's music hits because, if you remember back in November of last year, John Cena and Solo Sokoa fought, and Solo Sokoa messed John Cena up. Where's The Rock? Gave him about 10 Samoan spikes, and it looked like John Cena was done forever. But no, John Cena comes back, gets his get back on Solo Sokoa, and gives him the AA, which is John Cena's finisher. He gives him the AA through the announce table, I think. You can't see me. Yeah, but then when John Cena does that, and he's standing triumphant. Oh, he did hit an AA on Roman Reigns too, I forgot. But once he does that, and John Cena's on top, guess who comes out, Tasia? The Rock. The Rock comes out. Finally. Tasia wanted The Rock to come out, but yes, The Rock comes out, and this is important because back in 2013 and 2014, John Cena and The Rock had a WrestleMania match, which was called Once in a Lifetime, because two stars of this caliber will only face off once. John Cena and The Rock were two of the biggest stars during their own eras, and it was that. It was pretty cool to see. Me and Brian were just standing up the whole time, because people just kept coming out left and right. It was so good. Yes, it was very good. We just stood in front of the TV. We got up off our couch, got in front of the TV, like, wow, what's going to happen next? This is amazing. People just kept coming. And then John Cena, he looks in The Rock's eyes and says, you can't see me. Takes a swing and misses, and The Rock gives him a rock bottom. And then The Rock, he kicks John Cena off the ring, and he takes off this belt that he had. It said Mama Rose. It said Mama Rose on it, and he was going to hit Cody with it. Yes, because Cody Rhodes' mom was in the crowd that night, and he was just trying to be, you know, mean. Yes, The Rock was just trying to send Cody and Mama Rose a message, say, I'm better, you know. And as soon as he's about to hit, we hear the famous gong. I love The Undertaker. Whenever, I didn't know much about WWE. Growing up, I always loved The Undertaker, so it was pretty cool to see The Undertaker come back. He's my favorite of all time. I used to get scared of his videos when I was little. That's just a fact. As a kid, he was pretty scary to me, too. But yeah, the lights go out, and the camera is angled perfectly. You just see The Rock, and then it turns to the right a little bit, and you see The Undertaker standing behind them, and The Rock has no idea. That was the coolest moment of the whole thing, in my opinion, because it's The Undertaker. Right. Then when The Rock turns around, The Undertaker grabs him and gives him a choke slam. And then he just disappears. Then the lights go away, and The Undertaker's not there. Neither is The Rock. The Rock disappears, too. Yeah, they just de-dipped with The Rock. I don't know what happened, but yeah, they disappeared. Then after that, Cody Rhodes hits The Crossroads on Roman Reigns three times. No, that's not what happened. No, The Shield. That's right, Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins, he was bruised and battered. I think Seth Rollins came out after The Rock did what he did to John Cena. Sorry, I messed that up. Yeah, and Seth Rollins used to be in this group, The Shield, with Roman Reigns. And who else? And Dean Ambrose and Jon Moxley. He's not important to this right now, but he was a star in his own right. Yeah, and Seth ended up betraying Roman while they were in The Shield by hitting him with the chair in the back. Yep, exactly. Look at you. But, so yeah, Seth comes out, and he's just so tired and hurt that he tries to hit The Rock with the chair, but Roman spears Seth before he can get to The Rock. Yeah, and Roman was standing there with the chair, and basically, Roman lowered his chances of keeping his title because he wanted to get back what Seth did to him years ago. Yeah, over 10 years ago. Yeah, 10 years ago. He hit him in the back with the chair. He's like, finally payback. Yeah, once all the legends are cleared out of the ring, The Undertaker's gone, The Rock's gone, Roman sees the chair that Seth had in his hand at first, and he looks at Cody, right? He's about to hit Cody, about to win the match, about to do it, but then he looks to his right and sees his old partner Seth, and he didn't know who to choose. It was a great storyline. Yes, in the end, he chose to give revenge on Seth. And he got damaged. That's what cost him the match. That's the window of opportunity Cody needed to get Roman out. He hit him three times at the crossroads, and Cody finishes the story in the main event of WrestleMania. I think Roman should have kept it, but then again, Roman, well, he has leukemia. Yes, Roman doesn't. Yes, unfortunately. And so I understand, but I just, I was so bummed about, like, for like weeks. Yeah, you were. I'd go to Bryan and be like, Roman lost his title. Tasia would just walk in the room and say, Bryan, I can't believe Roman really lost his title. I was like, yeah, baby, but he'll come back stronger. He'll come back. Don't worry. But he lost his title. He doesn't need that title. He's still the tribal chief. But yeah, Cody won. He finished his story. Now we just have to wait to see what Cody does with that title. Hopefully he does good with it. But yeah, that was me and Tasia's recap of WrestleMania. I really liked it. What about you, Tasia? I liked it. You liked it? Yeah. I'd say night two was my favorite. I like night two, too. Night two, too. I see. But yeah, everyone, that was the Good Vibes podcast. Thank you for listening with me and Tasia here. We hope you guys come back whenever I decide to make another episode, if I decide to. And yeah, see y'all. And hope y'all come back. And I'm dragging out the Satchel. Bye.
