Jones-introduction

Brent Jones is excited to study Matthew Delmont's book, Half American, which explores lesser-known aspects of World War II through the African American struggle. He enjoyed the book before and is looking forward to diving deeper into it and similar topics. Although he is skeptical about the podcast format due to his lack of tech skills, he believes he can figure it out. Overall, Brent is excited for the course. Hello. My name is Brent Jones. What I'm most excited for in this class is re-diving into Matthew Delmont's work, Half American. I had looked at it previously for a course in this program and enjoyed greatly how it encompasses lesser known parts of well-known parts of World War II through the guise of following the African American struggle. It was very enjoyable and excited to dive deeper into it and other topics similar. I'm a little skeptical, however, of this podcast format just because I'm not very good with technology, though the software does not look terrible, so I think I can figure it out just fine. Excited for this course.
