Dr. Faye encourages listeners to rewrite their own stories and not let their past define them. She emphasizes that individuals have the power to change their circumstances and that they should focus on positive thoughts and God's promises. Dr. Faye also reminds listeners that they are not alone in their struggles and encourages them to embrace their uniqueness and pursue their purpose. She concludes by affirming that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life and invites listeners to connect with her. Welcome to another Faith Alive in 5, the 5-Minute Gospel. I'm your happy host, Dr. Faye. And I'm so glad to be here with you today because I get to encourage you, inspire you, motivate you, and dig a little deeper that you might be transformed. So that you're no longer living out of the history and the memory of your history, but now you're rewriting your own story. Yes, you have that power to rewrite your own story. If you don't like where you've been, change it. You are a co-creator with God. He put himself on the inside of you and gave you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy so that no thing can really hurt you. I like that. That excites me, as it does in Psalms 91, that no bad thing can happen to you, only good things can happen to you. So, Dr. Faye, you know a lot of bad things have happened to me, but you know what? You make the decision as to how bad it is. It could be the bad that leads you to something good, or it could be the bad that holds you in captivity. So, you decide what to make of it. You know, when life gives you a lemonade, or is the glass half full, or is the glass half empty, it's whose lenses are you looking through. If you're looking through the lenses of negativity and naysayers, then you'll always think life is bad. You'll always think the storms are coming to you and nobody else, but I promise you, the life that you're living, the things that you're experiencing, other people have gone through stuff, too. I was speaking to a friend of mine recently, and we were talking about being and doing and having and going through all of the cycles of life. And when I thought my story was the story to tell, when she got quiet and then she said, now let me tell you my story. And when she told me her story, I kind of put my story tucked it away underneath the rug, because my story was nothing like her story. So, the minute you think that everything in your life is going to hell in a hand basket and nobody is going through what you're going through, that everybody hates you, and you know, all those conversations you have in your head, that crowded space up there, that you're entertaining, all of those thoughts, and it's a busy place because you've got a lot of noise in your head. But remember, it's your head. It's your mind. You can decide to be free of those conversations and change the conversation, change the dialogue, change even the monologue, the stuff you say about yourself to yourself, and begin to say what God says about you. Begin to think on those things that are good, that are lovely, that are just, that are pure, that are of a good report, where there's virtue, where there's praise. Think on those things, and the very God of peace will sanctify you wholly. When you begin to be transformed by the way you're thinking on the things of God, the things that God has ordained for your life, then your life will catapult into a new dimension. You will no longer be pulled back into yesterday, but your thoughts will become a magnet to pull you toward your destiny, to pull you toward your future. Do you not know, understand, and realize that your imagination is your creation? That what you think about, you're birthing about, you're bringing about, your thoughts become the canvas, the brush for the canvas of a new day. And as you think, you are creating your steps, you are creating your new day. And if you don't like the day, change it for tomorrow, shift it, relive it from within, and begin to feel good about yourself again. I know you've been knocked down, but you haven't been knocked out, because you're still here. And because you're still here, I want to motivate you, encourage you, inspire you, slap you in a good way to get you up and get you mobilized so you can be globalized. Begin to live the life you were born to live. Do the things you were born to do, so you can have the things you were born to have. I so wish this for you. I so pray this for you, so that you come behind in no good thing. A price has been paid for you to have it all. And you can have it all, because you are a child of God. And if you don't know that with certainty, ask Jesus, and he'll assure you that you can be his child and be aware of his presence within you. I'm so glad you joined me today.
