Good morning, class, and a warm welcome to The Mary Talk Show, the platform where we delve into the remarkable journeys of chosen Catholics and their profound experiences with the wonders of Mary. I'm your host, Marcel, and I'm excited to guide you through this enlightening conversation today. Our guest for today's episode is someone truly special, a person whose devotion to Mary has been an inspiration to many. Please give a warm welcome to the wonderful Auntie Tina. It's an honor to have you as our guest. Can you tell us about your earliest encounter with Mary in your life and how it made you feel? Hello, Marcel. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity for me to talk more about Mary. My earliest encounter with Mary was 15 years ago when I was praying in St. Francis Church on deciding whether or not to be baptized as Catholic. At that time, I had no idea who Mary was since I came from a non-Catholic church. Yes, I know that she's the mother of God, but I have not known her personally. So, I prayed to Mary and asked for guidance. Well, she didn't come in the form of an angel or anything, but during the prayer, Mary did give me assurance and peace that she would introduce herself to me as I progressed with my Catholic faith. Now you've dedicated yourself to a praise and worship ministry. Can you share with us why you decided to start this ministry and how Mary plays a role in it? Well, this is not an easy choice as I have to spend most of my weekends serving the ministry. I decided to do this ministry because I feel the need to pay forward the goodness that I've received from God and I feel the need to let the good news to other people, especially wonderful young people like you, so that you can start to grow faith in your young age. And, of course, Mary does help me a lot. Whenever I feel down or I feel scared, I pray rosary and ask Mary for guidance. That's truly inspiring. I'd like to ask about the significance of praying the Hail Mary. Many Catholics recite this prayer daily. Can you explain its importance and what it means to you personally? Behind the Hail Mary prayer, there is a great story of Mary, how Mary's obedience and surrender have allowed God to work on His plan. So, for me, Hail Mary prayer is a prayer that reminds me that despite of every work, every plan that I do or I make, I need to surrender and fully trust in God, like Mary. It's evident that Mary holds a significant place in your life and your ministry. How do you believe Mary has played a part in our lives and in the lives of those you've touched through the ministry? Mary is a mother. Mary is a wife. And Mary is also a fully devoted Catholic. I always emphasize, especially to young people, that you can always keep Mary in your heart. Just like when you need to talk heart to heart with your mother or with someone that's close to you, she will always be there for you, embracing you when you are down. And when you want something from God, you can pray together with her, asking her help to pass down the prayers to her son. That's truly amazing. Before we wrap up, could you share some advice on how we can all strengthen our relationship with Mary, just as you have? Okay, this is a tough question, Marcel. But maybe a couple more tips I can give to you. Try to involve Mary in your life through rosary prayer. And if you can do it with your family, that would be excellent. Or before you sleep at night, just talk to Mary what you have been through during the day, your ups and your downs, your story, your friends, your school. And ask Mary to pray for you. Thank you, Aunty Tina, for sharing your inspiring journey and insights with us. It's been a pleasure having you on the Mary Talk Show. Thanks to all the viewers for tuning in to the Mary Talk Show. And goodbye.
