This meditation focuses on a happy, healthy pregnancy. Negative thoughts create a fight-or-flight response in the body, while positive thoughts trigger the rest-and-digest response. Close your eyes, relax your body, and observe your breath. Repeat positive affirmations about relaxation, strength, trust, and the baby's well-being. Visualize a smooth birth, appreciate your pregnancy, and accept help when needed. Finally, return to awareness and express gratitude for yourself and your baby. Thank you for joining me to guide you through this meditation, focusing on a happy, healthy pregnancy. Take a moment for yourself and find a comfortable place that you can sit or lie down. Make sure you feel supported. Turn anything off that may distract you so you can really immerse yourself in this experience. When you have thoughts that are based in fear or worry, your body creates a physical response to those thoughts. This fight-or-flight response is your nervous system's way of preparing your physical body to deal with threats, whether they exist in front of you or in your thoughts. When you have positive thoughts, your body also has a physical reaction. This nervous system response is often called the rest-and-digest response because it allows your body to relax and focus on internal processes. Gently close your eyes and start to settle into your breath. Take a nice, long, deep breath in through your nose and a nice, releasing exhale out through your mouth. Feel your shoulders start to relax as you exhale. And now start to observe your breath. And as you exhale, think about your body letting go. And use your breath to help bring stillness to your body and peace to your mind. Breathing in, filling up. Breathing out, slowly letting everything go. Letting your body surrender into relaxation. Keep breathing this long, slow, healing breath. With every breath you take, you invite in new oxygen to clean your blood, heal your cells, mend tissues, and now support your baby. As we go through these positive pregnancy affirmations, please listen to each affirmation and repeat aloud or silently to yourself. You don't need to analyze it or think about it. Just repeat and let go. My body is completely relaxed. I am strong and healthy. My baby feels my love. I trust that my body knows exactly what it's doing. I am excited to give birth to my baby. I trust in my ability to birth my baby. My baby is happy and healthy. My body is designed to give birth. My baby's birth will come quick and easily. Everything is going as it should during my pregnancy. I have courage, faith, and patience. I am connected to all women who are pregnant all over the world. Every day, my baby increases in size the perfect amount. My body is beautiful, capable, and strong. I follow my instincts and will give birth in the way I desire. I am ready and prepared for my birthing experience. I have an amazing support system. When I ask for help, I receive help. I visualize myself handling everything beautifully. I am surrounded by love and my baby feels this. I am grateful to be able to feel a life growing inside of me. I accept the help of others with an open heart and mind. I am a good mother. I have the confidence to ask for help and receive help when I need it. Everything I feel and experience is part of the great lesson of motherhood. My baby is growing and developing just as it should. The foods I am eating are nourishing me and my baby. I love my pregnant body. During labor and birth, I will be completely relaxed. My job is to relax and allow my birth to happen. I am calm, centered, and confident. I am so thankful for this amazing pregnancy. It is an honor to be carrying this baby in my womb. I am grateful for this important role as an expectant mother. Now take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale completely. Wiggle your fingers, your toes. Gently move your head from side to side. Lick your lips and start to become aware of the room around you. In your own time, gently open your eyes. Take a deep breath in and exhale out with gratitude for you and your baby. Now take a deep breath in and exhale out with gratitude for you and your baby. Take a deep breath in and exhale out with gratitude for you and your baby. Take a deep breath in and exhale out with gratitude for you and your baby. Take a deep breath in and exhale out with gratitude for you and your baby. Take a deep breath in and exhale out with gratitude for you and your baby. Take a deep breath in and exhale out with gratitude for you and your baby.
