Ayn Rand
Ayn Rand, originally named Alisa Zinov'yevna Rosenbaum, was a Russian-American writer and thinker known for her popular novels, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. In addition to being a novelist, she was also a playwright, screenwriter, and philosopher who developed a philosophical system called Objectivism. She lived from February 2, 1905 (O.S. January 20) to March 6, 1982.
