Divine Visitation

By faith of faith, and faith of hand, I have laid, and I have bowed, I have leant my feet on high, and I have never walked, I have laid my feet there, by faith of faith, and faith of hand, I have laid, and I have bowed, I have leant my feet on high, When a child is born, there is time to crawl, I said it on Sunday, there is time to walk, there is time to run, and by the reason of divine agenda, and prophetic revelation, this is our time to soar like an eagle. And I believe God that as we receive teaching, I told us yesterday night, when you are coming today, come with Bible and Word and pen, because you must go home with something that will help you. Faith, coming by what? Hearing, hearing what? The Word of God. And as you hear the Word of God tonight, as many that have been crawling, as many that have been running, as many that have been walking, there shall be a divine release of God upon your life, that causes you to soar like an eagle, in the mighty name of Jesus. Joshua said, Father, meet me at the point of my knee tonight, through your Word. Meet me at the point of my knee tonight, through your Word. Let's open our mouth to pray. Brethren, let's pray. All the band members, there is no need of clustering there. Just join them there and take your seat. Take your seat there and pick your Bible. Yes, sit down and pick your pen and your Bible. Your pen and your paper, rather. Yes, thank you. God bless you. Pray for yourself, love. A word from you tonight. A word from you tonight. There is a word from you tonight for me, that will turn things around, that will turn my situation around, that will take me to a higher dimension of your glory and power, like my life will never remain the same again. Thank you, Heavenly Father. In Jesus' precious name, we are praying. Let me ask our mommy to pray for us, as we hear the Word of God tonight. In the mighty name of Jesus, Our Father, we thank you for the food that you have prepared for us tonight. The instrument through which you are about to deliver it is sanctified and hidden in Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask Lord, King of Glory, that the delivery this night will be packed up by the power of the Holy Ghost with the lifting of our spirit, soul and body. In Jesus' mighty name, we are praying. Somebody say Amen. I know that many of us, we have seen the poster, and we have seen the banner. And some of us who have been under the ministry of this great servant of God, you will have no doubt in your mind that the Lord has brought us somebody here this year conference that the Lord is going to impart our life with. Let's rise to our feet as we welcome the Reverend David Ogumbola, the sectional leader of Owuru and from mainland D.C. God bless you sir. Thank you so much. Please you may regain your seat in the presence of the almighty God. I want to thank God for another privilege God has given to every one of you to be here today. Some of you went to work, to your offices and to places and you are back. We give God praise for that. I also want to thank the Lord for the servant of the Lord, Reverend Dr. Ogulabi who so much did it fit to invite me to come and be part of this year breakthrough program. I think I'm privileged. There are several ministries and assemblies of God's church in Nigeria even within Lagos and outside Lagos but he fed that it should be me this time around. I want to say thank you so much and I also want to believe that this is in agreement also with the church board who have also given their approval. I want to say thank you to the church board also. We are in to be blessed this week and the blessing is going to make us to begin to fly and to soar. I know that when you talk of soaring if those of you that have seen eagles before eagles don't struggle or they don't flap their wings this way they just mantle to the wings and then they will begin to soar. If you have seen plane moving on a high speed before and I think that is the way eagles. I believe that there are four levels of movement of man. The crawling level, the walking level, the running level and then we talk of the flying and the soaring level. That's the four level of movement. Once a child is born it's expected to begin to crawl at a particular time it should also begin to walk and while walking it should be fit also eventually to be able to run and of course those whom God have given grace they fly on the air and that's one of the best movement in life now. Behind and now so somebody who is hearing me at any moment from now you are going to be a high flyer. If your amen is showing and it shows that you agree with me it will begin to happen in your life and that's exactly what will happen to you you will soar like eagles. Let's go to the book of Luke our time has been far spent. Luke chapter 1 I'm talking of the gospel of Luke chapter 1 I like to take my reading I will be reading long verses there from verse 5 of Luke chapter 1 and I will take it through to where I will stop. Then I will move to the book of Acts chapter 10 from verse 1 to 8 and I will be ministering to us this particular evening on the topic divine visitation that will enable you to soar in life. That's my topic. I want to take my reading from verse 5 There was in the days of Herod the king of Judea a certain priest named Zacharias of the cause of Abias and his wife was of the daughters of Herod and her name was Elizabeth and they were both righteous before God working in all the commandments and ordinances of the law blameless and they have no child because that Elizabeth was barren meaning that it was Elizabeth that actually had the problem and they both were now worth striking a year and it came to pass that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of the cause according to the custom of the priest's office his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temples of the law and the whole multitude of the people were praying out at the times of incense and there appeared unto him an angel of the law standing on the right side of the altar of incense and when Zacharias saw him he was troubled and a fear fell upon him but the angel said unto him Fear not Zacharias for thy prayers is heard and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son and thou shalt call his name John and thou shalt have joy and gladness and many shall rejoice at his birth let's go to the book of Acts Acts chapter 10 I take my reading from verse 1 to 8 and there was a certain man in Caesarea called Colinius a sectarius of the band called the Italian band a devout man one that feared God with all his house which gave much alms to the people and prayed to God always he saw in a vision evidently about the night hours of the day an angel of God coming into him and saying unto him Colinius and when he looked unto him he was afraid and he said What is it Lord? and he said unto him Thy prayers and thy alms have come up for your memorial before God and now send men to Joppa and call one Simon whose full name is Peter he lodged with one Simon the Italian whose house is by the seaside he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do and when the angels had finished speaking to Colinius who was departed he called two of his household servants and a devout soldiers on them that waited on him continually and when he had declared all these things unto them he sent them to Joppa Father we thank you for the reading of your words have your liberty and pass to your servants and bless your people in Jesus name Amen I would like to minister to us this evening on the topic divine recitation anything divine is relating to God coming from God divine belongs to or proceeding from God once you use the language divine it has to do with God and then let's look at the word visit or visitation an instance of visiting an official visit from someone important divine visitation is an event in which God or another non-human being appear to someone divine visitation is when heaven comes down and overrules the powers of the enemy at work in anyone's life I would like you to position yourself to receive tonight when we say divine visitation or we talk of visitation visitation past visitation we are not talking we are not just talking about visitation but we are talking of who is the person that visits there is a person that will visit this particular environment this environment will never remain the same it all depends on who visits so when you are talking of visitation we need to look at it closely and understand that we are referring to divine visitation I am not talking of Tenumbu visiting this place but you know that if Tenumbu visits this community this community definitely will change based on his reason of coming and the plea that will be made to him visitation definitely passes visitation in fact I still keep repeating this that the personality that will visit you and there are personalities that will visit you there are personalities that will visit you your life will never remain the same again because of what they carry because of whom they are the story of your life will change and the condition of your life also will change all depends on who is the personality that visits you so we are not referring to any other personality this time around we are referring to the personality the almighty God the one who is above all when God leaves his throne and visits a man for good the equation changes automatically when God visits a man or a woman or family for good the equation changes automatically there are several people in the bible that are visited or that receive heavenly visitation that changes their destiny changes their condition changes their life for good and I want to also let us know that there are two dimensions of God's visitation there are two dimensions of God's visitation the first one is visitation to assess situations and performances visitation to assess situations and performances the second visitation to assess situations and performances with special blessings I repeat again the first visitation is visitation to assess situations and performances the second visitation to assess situations and performances with special blessings anyone that must expect divine visitation you must need to live worthy of it if you are expecting divine visitation you must need to live worthy of it in Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 the Lord says behold I come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according to his works shall be meaning that our works has something to do with God's visitation if it must be a positive visitation because there are also negative visitations our God is a suffering God a many potent God a many saint God a many present God He knows our activities He knows us He knows us in and out He knows us when we go to our markets when we go to business center when we go to our offices He knows us, He sees us none of us is hidden from Him and because He knows us He is watching our performances watching our life activities on a daily basis the Bible say the eyes of the Lord runs through and through and the reason why He is running through and through is to see those whose life whose activities goes in according to the Bible that He may visit them and to say this God's visitation can be positive very well and blessed in Genesis chapter 19 the scriptures made us to understand that there was a visitation to a particular city called the city of Sodom and Gomorrah they have been long on their iniquity until the Lord decided to visit them this time around negative war and the scriptures made us to understand that God judged the city of Sodom and Gomorrah and ran fire on them I like to say this everyone is allowed to come to church as he is as you are come to church as you are but you are not allowed to continue as you are while you come to church if you are a sinner with evil activities in the church it is a question of time if you don't repent God will visit you and that's why I repeat again sinners are free to come to church but must not remain sinner in the church it doesn't matter where you are coming from how deep you have been in sin the moment you come into the house of the Lord listen to the word of God answer God's call answer altar call and repent of your sin but if you now choose and make up your mind and say well I have just decided to remain a religious person I will not repent yet I will not leave church alone expect God to visit you and it's going to be a very negative war all the people in the bible that experience God's positive visitation are those that walk daily daily to pleasing those that walk daily to pleasing we can't be talking of soaring if we are living as he pleases us we can't be talking of soaring if we don't live according to the standard of the bible and of course most of the people that experience God's visitation in the bible that eventually soar in every aspect of their life first of all they walk with God and they walk, or rightly they walk to glorify God every day of their life with them and their family and that's why we shall consider keys that activate divine visitation in some people's lives in the bible we shall consider keys that activate divine visitation in some people's lives in the bible there are many but I will concentrate just on two families here and the first family is the family of Colinius and the second family is the family of Zechariah and Elizabeth there are qualifications and keys that provoke divine visitation and eventually lift one up to soar in life if you don't have it forget about the issue of soaring it will only just be a mere empty noise when heaven visited Colinius an Italian army officer the bible gave us the qualifications in the life of Colinius his qualifications and good work were listed in the bible and the scriptures cannot be broken God has not changed his mind God's standards stand strong and God's standards have not changed up to today and it won't change in our own time the number one qualification in the life of Colinius the scriptures say that he was a commander of 100 soldiers yet he was humble if he's not humble he won't begin to serve the God he never knew much about a commander of 100 soldiers we cannot call him today an army general number two the scriptures say according to the book of Acts chapter 10 he was a devout and committed man he was committed to God he was committed to the service of God he was committed to the service of humanity and that's number two number three he was generous to the needy he was generous to the needy in other words no widows no disabled no those who are in need ever go without being blessed by Colinius and number four he maintained consistent prayer life he answered communion despite the fact that he was not too sure of even this God we are talking about he wasn't too sure about it but yet the Bible took time to say that Colinius was consistent as far as prayer is concerned I'm not the one that said it a devout man a one that feared God a one that feared God with the whole house which gave much hands to the people and prayed to God always prayed to God always take note of that number five the Bible said that Colinius feared God with his whole household with his household you dare not talk anyhow about God or about people in the house of Colinius because for the Bible to say he feared God and even the God he has not known much he shows now that he actually feared God in Acts chapter 3 to 4 the Bible reveals why heaven choose to visit him the Bible reveals to us that heaven choose to visit heaven heaven and that's the divine visitation we are talking about choose to visit Colinius who was a gentile man an unsaved man he has not appropriated the blood of Jesus Christ to his life yet heaven steps into his environment he has not appropriated the blood of Jesus he is sick already in his sin if he has died in that condition his good work will never take him to heaven yet he lived his life to please God daily he lived his life to please God daily he lived to satisfy God daily Colinius loved God despite his limited knowledge about God he still loved God he has a limited knowledge about God because he has not known much about Jesus Christ or whom Jesus is he only knows that there is a God who is there and he is too sure that that God is there so he has not known whom Jesus is the life of Colinius of course attracted the attention of God and heaven so in this man though he never knew whom I am but for what we are seeing in the life of this man we should go and visit him the angel said thy prayers thy prayers and thy hands giving has come up for a memorial before God thy prayers that is the Lord is referring to Colinius thy prayers and thy hands giving has come up before God for a memorial his hands giving draw the attention of God his giving life provoke God to come down to want to know who is this man by the way what is the major need in his life how can he sow the heaven show interest I want to say this our love for God will reflect in the way we serve humanity if you love God it will show in the way you serve humanity and some people say I love God I'm so deep in God my relationship is hard but yet you don't love humanity you don't show kindness to humanity you hate your neighbor you don't show love to them then what kind of love do you say you have towards God our love for God will reflect in the way we give to promote his kingdom he loves God and show humanity kindness people who are in need people who are passing through tough times that's what the scriptures say I'm not the one that wrote it the bible say he makes their needs he gives hams anything that has to do with hams has to do with someone who is in need that his need be met then the scriptures say he also promotes the kingdom of God in other words he gives to promote the kingdom of God even though he has not known God much heaven finally looked down and said we can't allow this man to continue this way we can't allow him to continue to crawl spiritually his level spiritually may seem high to all of us to all of us because of this convocation but as far as God is concerned he is not doing well spiritually he needed to soar spiritually and heaven finally visited Colonial with the greatest need in his life and after Peter ministration to him the scriptures say after Peter had ministered to him they were all safe the entire family were all safe and free with the Holy Ghost and that taught it to me meaning that Colonial had been taking his family alongside Colonial had been having a very serious devotion of course the Bible said it he was devoted to God he had been having consistent devotion do you know devotion help your family to build your children before they will leave you finally because the moment our children go to higher institutions whether you like it or not that is the end of it by the time they are coming back they are getting jobs and they are leaving your home they only come once in a while back home any family that is not maintaining a family devotion you may likely lose those children for Colonial he was able to win and won his children to consistent devotion and after Peter ministration the scriptures made us to understand that the whole household were filled with the Holy Ghost meaning that there is a preparation he was prepared the family were prepared and of course don't forget the Bible made us to understand that if he had gone with his household that is what the scriptures say meaning that his children also have the fear of God and I want to announce to somebody who is hearing me this year because of what the Bible says here the Bible says eventually he was saved the entire household was saved that was the greatest need of his life I announce from this altar in this year 2023 God will visit you with the greatest need of your life whatever is that greatest need sometimes as our faces differ so our challenges I don't know what is your challenge I don't know what pains you most I don't know what wear your shoes pains you I don't know where you are facing challenges but the Bible says after the visitation the greatest need of his life was met because the Lord deliberately purposely visited him I announce from this altar again that this year this year breakthrough the year 2023 breakthrough shall deliver to your hands that particular greatest need in your family whatever is the greatest need I don't know it could be healing it could be new job it could be promotion it could be lifting it could be whatever may be that particular greatest need whatever is the greatest need in your family this year from now till the year 2023 as we are only the next 6 months we shall have a visitation that will meet your need because heaven is ready Hell moon visited Zechariah also and Elizabeth in the book of Luke chapter 1 for the sake of time let me quickly go there the Bible listed their qualification also number 1 qualification of Zechariah and Elizabeth the Bible says Zechariah and Elizabeth were both righteous before God they were both righteous before God we can't push aside righteousness and say we are serving God that is a righteous God and then we push aside righteousness and we live as we like the Lord told Abraham walk before me and be perfect as we are expecting breakthrough as we want to soar we must consider righteousness and then number 2 the Bible says they were walking in all the ordinances and ordinances of the law blameless they were walking in all the ordinances of the law blameless they were walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the law blameless in other words whatever the Bible says here whatever the Bible says they were careful to follow the scripture they were careful to follow the word of God they were careful to observe whatever commandment the Lord has given they went to do what God asked them to do even when it is not easy for them I like you to take note of commandment take note of ordinances and take note of blameless meaning this couple served the law faithfully despite the need and challenges in their life they have a major need and that is they are looking for a child but yet they were blameless they kept to the commandment of the law they kept to the commandment of the law they walk according to the ordinances of the law anytime God want to give you extraordinary testimony sometime He will give you extraordinary prayer whenever God want to give you a big ditch a big breakthrough He will test you He will try you to know how consistent you are to know how faithful you are to Him Zechariah and Elizabeth remained steadfast in the service and in their love for God they were in the service of God they were also steadfast the Bible says in the book of 1 Corinthians 15 verse 58 it says be ye steadfast unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord in other words Zechariah and Elizabeth they remained steadfast in their tithing some people like to come to church and do what they like and won't go to bless them in fact the reason why some people's life have been pegged is because they have not obeyed God is still waiting for them God is still waiting for them to keep to His word to stand by His word and until when they keep to His word and stand by His word before God will not bless them I want to say this so hurry I don't come here to raise your emotion to soar we must stand by the word of God and keep to it the Bible says in all ordinances in all commandments commandments there and ordinances there has to do with tithing offering just as the Scriptures have told us about Colinio he was a generous giver a great giver a man that loved God that he never knew everything about Zechariah were in need Elizabeth were in need the Bible says they were blameless in other words that they were in need doesn't affect their consistency in the house of God that they were in need doesn't make them not to come to church service on Sunday that they were in need doesn't make them not to love God that they were in need doesn't make them not to go out on evangelism they were still doing that which made God that pleases God they were still doing that that pleases God they were passing through tough times the Scriptures may also understand they were faithful in all the ordinances they were still faithful in thought, in tithing in their attendance in the house of the Lord whichever aspect that they were serving they were still serving they still paid their tithe regularly and correctly it is one thing for somebody to pay tithe it's another thing for somebody to pay it regularly we can't be talking of breakthrough if we do not in fact, even when you rebuke the devil during the breakthrough time the devil will be looking at you and say have you even obeyed God to the fullest? because it is when you have obeyed God to the fullest you have authority over the devil and he will listen to you the devil doesn't listen to people who don't obey God he doesn't listen to them you command him, he will tell you, say you get away from here and that was the reason why he tears up those people who were commanding him and saying in the name of Paul and Peter and whom they mentioned in the name of Jesus were cast out, the demons were anointed with them you are unrighteous, you belong to law I want to say to somebody who is hearing me let us rise as we are thinking of breakthrough as we are thinking of soaring as we are moving into the next week's month of the year 2023 let us arise in our faithfulness and be serious with God pay your tithe correctly pay your tithe regularly that last month you paid by this month you want to consider some other thing in the family and you don't want to pay the scriptural submitters understand that they were blameless they observed all the ordinances of the law and all the commandments of the law they still love the church and the brethren that you are passing through tough time doesn't mean that you should not love the church that you should not come to the house of the law no, they were still regular in the house of the law Zachariah and Elizabeth still give generously to God's kingdom anything that has to do with God's kingdom they still give the Bible will not have said they were blameless if in some aspects of their life something is lacking the Bible doesn't exaggerate Zachariah and Elizabeth never blame each other for their childlessness they never blame each other there was not a war between Zachariah and Elizabeth just because they were still waiting on the law they wait on the law faithfully they wait on the law righteously because even when you are waiting on the law you need to wait on the law righteously faithfully you need to wait on the law observing all his commandments observing all the ordinances of the Bible observing him and living a blameless life if the scriptures say that you live a blameless life you better believe it I like to ask now what are your responsibilities in the house of the law what is the place of your service in the church are you a deacon the law wants you to serve as a deacon with all of your heart then you can expect his visitation then you can think of soaring are you men's executives the law expects the men's executives who are serving and leading the men to serve faithfully and lead the men to a higher high then they can begin to think of soaring are you women's executives the law wants the women's executives to be faithful and also to serve faithfully without reservation then they can now begin to think of soaring are you youth executives the law wants the youth executives to serve and to serve without blameless and to be blameless and also to be steadfast in the service of the law then you can begin to think of soaring peace facilitators ushers in the church choirs in the church referee department in the church prayer team in the church the law expects you to be faithful and to serve you well then we can begin to think of soaring how can we soar except God visit us I like to say to somebody who is hearing me a day of God's visitation is coming your way any moment from now to those of us who have been serving the law consistently who have been watching and being careful of the way we serve God remind ourself in the house of the law remind the way at the activities in the church you don't joke with church activities you don't joke with everything that has to do with God God is watching and He is preparing to visit you and whether you like it or not that visitation is very close that is why this program has been planned now in Luke chapter 1 11 to 13 the scriptures say and the angel of the law while they were in the synagogue still serving serving without looking at their challenges they were serving faithfully the Bible made us to understand suddenly the angel of the law said unto them hear no Zechariah thy prayer is hard that's the way he put it he didn't say your prayer is here the Lord have hear your prayer thy prayer is hard meaning that after the Lord have heard the prayer of Zechariah and Elizabeth they have prayed and prayed and prayed the Lord decided to observe them there are some of us that God is observing during your trying hour during that time you have no job how do you serve God when you don't have a job when you are waiting for the fruit of the womb how do you serve God when you are asking the Lord for promotion how do you serve God God wants you to serve Him even when you are passing through tough times He still wants you to serve Him Zechariah was serving the Lord both of them were in the temple serving and Zechariah was so busy that even when the angel came he was so shocked and surprised the angels of God met him in the place of his service the angel of the Lord met Zechariah in the place of his service and the angel said your prayers have been hard but heaven decided to observe you for some time and we have observed you and we have decided to give you an uncommon child somebody is about to receive an uncommon blessing a promotion is coming the way of somebody there is a promotion that is coming your way that you will say yes by the time you receive the letter of the promotion there is a new job that is coming your way that new job by the time you shake your purse lip and you see all the benefits that will line up there you will lie down and begin to say Lord how do you manage to do it that time has come and it is very close to you if you have been faithful if you have been faithful if you have been observing the obnoxious and the commandment of the Lord expect that visitation that visitation is coming your way that visitation is coming your way that visitation is coming your way that visitation is coming your way if you are the one I am talking to let your aim show let your aim show the Lord shows to observe their devotions their commitments their selflessness God's time is the best I want to say to somebody who is hearing me tonight God's time is the best and that God's time is now there is always a season that God will choose to bless His people and He will lay it in the heart of His servant and say go and tell them that this is what I am about to do I want to say to assemblies of God's child a triple the time for your soaring has come the time for you to soar above others has come the time for you to move to a greater height has come the blessing that you have never witnessed since you started to serve God is about to come to your life the blessing that you have never seen in life before the blessing that your family have never witnessed before is about to come to your life that is why this program has been ordered that is why this program has been planned this program has been well planned and prepared for the sake of you and because you are here today I want you to know that God has marked you and said to you, you are among those who obeyed Reverend Dr. Olabi in this program you know there are times that the program will be ordered in the church and the plan in the church may you not be outside when God is visiting his people may you not be late when God is visiting his people there are always a time for God's visitation when I was preparing for this particular play the Lord said go and tell them the time of my visitation has come and the time of that soaring has come I do not know those who have labored in this local church I do not know those who have been so steadfast in this local church I don't know you more but you know yourself, you know your commitment you know how dedicated you are you know how you have committed yourself to give in the house of the Lord and you are still ready to give the Lord is saying I shall announce to you that that time, that time is now that time of God's visitation is now that set time is now that set time is now and you need to key into that God set time and I want to announce from this altar if a visitation if a visitation is coming to this local church to assemblies of God's church that this local church the name of this local church will be heard in the whole district something about this church will be heard in the entire district the district will come to know what is happening there and that grace is coming upon your life somebody who is hearing me come on, receive it in the name of Jesus I let you know God's time is the best and when God's time come when God's time come when it is God's time, nobody can stop it do you know the reason when it is God's time whoever stand on the way the omnipotent the one who is the almighty the only one who have the attribute of the omnipotent is the one who step in if there are power from your village the Lord will set aside the power if there are forces that you say that promotion will not be your own the Lord will remove it if there are manager and director that are standing on your promotion the Lord will remove that particular manager or director the reason is because when God visit, nothing stop God when God visit, nothing stop God that is why I believe that the breakthrough is possible when you are talking of breakthrough it is when you break through a particular barrier and you go through that is what we mean by breakthrough and assemblies of God show a jiggle you are already experiencing a breakthrough all obstacles all barriers all inglances they are already set aside the almighty God the almighty God have step in the almighty God have step in to the matter that particular power from the village that particular forces that evil convener the power of God will break the convener that kept you in one place every convener does stagnancy every convener that kept you in one place by the reason of anointing such a convener is hereby broken and destroyed that convener cannot stand again I set the boot up and the feet of everyone stopping your advancement stopping you from soaring I set their feet on fire I say I stand on this altar where God the most high is the one seated here I set on fire whoever that is sitting that is sitting on your promotion sitting on your blessing sitting on that house project you are supposed to embark on somebody is about to embark on a house project and that house project you embark on it the house, the hands that will lay the foundation the hands that will lay the foundation shall complete that particular house project if you are the one I am talking to let your amen show do you know the reason the simple reason is that the almighty God visited when God visited Abraham this gives us riddles to understand Sarah was saying I am whole can you imagine you saying that
