Well hello hello welcome back to OutKast episode 2 you got your boy Logan here and Anthony and we'll have Todd later on the segment with the out-of-bounds and the three of us are in Phoenix Arizona right now yeah having a blast oh yeah man you know trying they're in my hometown I gotta show them around you know what I mean yeah getting ready for the CSU USC game on Wednesday night oh I cannot wait for that game that'll be an interesting matchup is Isaiah Stevens versus boogie Ellis great point guard matchup there yeah that's gonna be something to look forward to man and you know Stevens I mean I'm always an advocate for him I think he's gonna win it I'm gonna have good anything he had such a great game versus st. Mary's to 23 and 5 Mountain West player of the week you know I want to bring back that st. Mary's game let's talk about yeah we'll review that and yeah good to a two-point win quad one when you st. Mary's ranked 11th in the country in the net rankings first quad win of the season where we're now 1 and 3 in quad one yeah it was a much-needed win you know of course coming off terrible losses for a northern Colorado and see you so I mean st. Mary's is a good way to put us back on the map for yeah you know the NCAA tournament coming in March and all that speaking of USC USC is a merge between a quad one quad two team you have to be top 50 to put it to be a quad one win on a neutral court so I think USC is just outside of that right now it'd be a quad two win but we'll take quad two wins where we can take them right I mean I'd take any win where we could take it because you know it just looks good on paper so yep and if I'm not mistaken this is the last conference game of the season we play New Mexico in the pit either next week or the week after that that'll be the first night my game will be our last non-conference game and yeah yeah Wow big big Pac-12 team coming off of a win against Auburn a huge win for them you know I I really liked the starting five against st. Mary's I like having Cartier and Moore's on the floor at the same yeah exactly it puts a gives a sense of like having bigger men on there yeah of course you know we have you know that's possibly the best five scorers we have on our team right we have you know Stephens right and with Tavey and Jay Lake being out I mean you could mix and match Riv with Jay Lake or Tavey in that starting five and I think they'd all be as productive as each other exactly and honestly I love having Cartier at power forward right having you know because Cartier has proven to be one of the better scorers on our team and pairing him with Moore's in the paint like that's kind of cool it increases rebounding exactly rebounding Cartier is just as good of a score at power forward as he's at center yeah and I've been a huge advocate on Twitter about like we need to find a way to rebound and of course it's hard to do it against st. Mary's when they have that big what 7-1 200 oh yes yeah I think the Saxon was his name exactly a good player yeah and Moore's held his own against him he did and I mean you know that game scared me to death oh yeah so that's one of the best teams will play off season there are some really good teams in the Mountain West but st. Mary's is definitely at the top for sure oh yeah and you know it seems like this season or what now because who was the other Western Conference team we played before WCC had Dinwiddie's brother on it that's Weaver State they were there in the big sky Oh big we played um oh that LMU Loyola Marymount Loyola Marymount and there's Loyola Marymount like the fourth best team that conference maybe fifth behind San Francisco but that's that's a good team yeah yeah speaking of um Weaver State now though they just beat Utah State the other day yeah and Utah State's undefeated run I didn't check how many points Keith Dinwiddie scored but man when he played in Moby we gave him a lot of a lot of talk yeah we were in his here yeah yeah bad loss for Utah State that was a huge loss and you know it's just puts more on New Mexico be this powerhouse team though because I'm pretty sure New Mexico is the only undefeated team in the Mountain West now yeah so yeah last one that UNLV lost San Francisco the other day yeah you know they did at home now that's a tough one for them if I'm not mistaken I referenced this on Twitter the other day but there are seven teams in the Mountain West and the top 80 teams in the country right now that's crazy and five of them in the top 50 that's crazy this is the Mountain Best now the Mountain Best we you know and there's one ranking I saw on Twitter where you know the Mountain West is like third or something regarding total grade or something like that I don't know yeah no I think I think um someone made a joke on it might have been a joke tweet but someone said that the Mountain West is the second best conference in basketball right now which to me it's not even a joke I mean the Mountain West is definitely a top five conference in the in the country right yeah you got to put us up there with you know a power five conference I know you I think we're with New Mexico UNLV, San Diego State, Boise State, Utah State those like oh those are six teams that have a legitimate shot at fighting for NCAA tournament bids which is usually up there with like the Big 12 I mean the Big Ten gets in like nine or ten teams ACC gets in seven or eight but the Mountain West has a chance to get in probably four to six teams this year yeah I think they'll get a good like three or four yeah you know logically you'd think probably three or four teams yeah and I mean you know the Mountain West is getting a lot of recognition now this season with you know UNLV, Utah State, New Mexico all being undefeated at the time I forget his name but like makes those yes I forgot his name too those are cool yeah those are really cool I don't know how you make them we don't have we don't have very much land right now but we'll get some land back oh we definitely will and I know the winning at St. Mary's would probably help with that yeah we took their land I didn't see which land St. Mary's has but there's probably a decent amount we got. St. Mary's going into our game with 9-3 so we got probably they had San Diego State's land because they beat San Diego State the other day and we took them down a few days later so I know we we took San Diego State's land that they had before exactly and yeah the Mountain West you know conference play this year is going to be definitely something to watch. It's going to be a gauntlet it is going to be a gauntlet and starting the Mountain West season with a road game in the pit at New Mexico that's you know if that's a quad one game for us and if we could win that game that gives us really high chances of make getting in that large bid again so yeah I want I want to see a Mountain West banner hung in Moby that is what I want this don't we all oh yeah I think we have the players to do it because you know we like you know the unfortunate thing losing Ronnie to the Memphis oh my god losing Ronnie to the Memphis Grizzlies yeah and you know we brought in like what like five six players after that yeah yeah you know lose one and bring in five to six who are just at his caliber I mean you know I've heard somebody mentioned about like Cartier and Roddy regarding the power forward position. Cartier doesn't have to fill those shoes and it's gonna it's gonna have to be a win by committee I've heard some people on Twitter say that we're gonna have to go 13 and 5, 14 and 4 in conference play to even get an NCAA tournament bid. You still got Isaiah Stevens you still have Isaiah Stevens at the helm. Isaiah Stevens done like yeah dude what did he put up against St. Mary's? 23 points 5 assists. 23-5 yeah exactly so you know Steven always you know I'll trust that man with the basketball anytime I mean you could give them the first team all Mountain West point guard spot you might as well yeah you know and hit him and Jalen House you might I mean both him and Jalen House probably will be first team Mountain West players together those probably have two point guards on the the first team on Mountain West this year because Jalen House has been incredible for New Mexico this year. Oh yeah New Mexico's been incredible to you. I don't know if a lot of people saw their win against Iona but they got a good quad two win at home against Iona and Rick Patino which Iona will be a top 25 team they're ranked 39th in the net rankings right now which New Mexico sitting at 21st so New Mexico's only top 25 team in the Mountain West right now if I'm not mistaken San Diego State just outside but yeah I mean you know I think we'll have a great Mountain West because you know we lost terribly to Northern Colorado CU and yeah after that I feel like the team. Big bounce back. Yeah exactly and St. Mary's proved that like you know our team is like you know what I'm tired of losing shit so like yeah winning against USC would make a huge statement. Huge statement and it would show the resilience of our squad the mental fortitude of our players it'd be big time. Exactly and you know we're in Arizona right now so hopefully you know we'll be able to. They'll see the outlaws in the stands and they'll get a win just because of that let me tell you. And even all the other CSU fans like if you're traveling to Arizona like come sit with us. Why not right? All right we're going to move on to the out-of-bounds segment of the Outcast here. We'll bring in Todd Asoba ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to out-of-bounds with Todd and Logan. Yeah today we have such a big large steaming topic for y'all. Oh yes we do. And to start it off it's what is the best soft drink from all like fast food restaurants? Soft drink? Yeah like out of the soda machine you know it doesn't have to be a soda but just like soft drink or you know like so shakes all that off the table. Shakes are off the table. Everything like that's off the table. It's like you walk into McDonald's and you're like I want a soft drink and then you walk over. Anthony here let me, can I chip in on this? Yeah yeah yeah, welcome in. Oh alright. See I'm a big chocolate guy for shakes. Yeah but shakes aren't on the table. Oh no shakes on the table? No shakes it's the same. Okay here we go. Like you just said I wanted a large drink and then you have to walk over to the fountain. What are you getting? Well Taco Bell's Baja Blast. That's what I'm saying Taco Bell's Baja Blast. But in general. Taco Bell's Baja Blast. Michael C's always a good old Coke or Pepsi at everything. Always. Always the Mountain Dew Baja Blast. The Mountain Dew Baja Blast is something. No the Baja Blast is something but personally I'm not really a huge soda fan. Nerd. So I mean I just get like I wouldn't even get a drink or if I had to go anything it's like a lemonade or something. Here's another thing. Powerade. Another one. Powerade yeah yeah. Another one though when you go to a movie theater you know how they have the whole widespread selection. Yeah yeah it's like the hundred something machine. What is your go to on that one? Because that is every single time. Alright it depends on the movie I'm about to go watch right. So let's say I'm walking in and I want a nice action movie right. Cherry Coke every single time. Not even tripping about it. Cherry Coke for an action movie? Not even tripping about it. And I get the biggest drink possible with the largest thing of popcorn and halfway through that movie I'm standing up and I have to pee like a damn racehorse. Logan what about you? What are you thinking on this one? I mean you know. Not a soda guy. Yeah not a soda guy. Not a huge soda guy but I mean you know. It's like Powerade. For all the people that don't get sodas as well it's always like good. You know one of the icies are in there. Yeah that's what I'm saying. Like if you get the for me it's the I don't know the blue icies that's what they call it. Yeah the blue raspberry one. Blue raspberry. Yeah dude that's the bee's name. That's fire that's fire. I'm sorry if my dad's out there listening. He knows that I like the coca-cola icies. That is so wrong. That is awful. You know what and that's why the out of bounds segment does not have you in it. Thank you for sharing your opinion. You know what it's out of bounds for a reason. Debate it. Why is coca-cola so good? No I'll freaking debate it. The coca-cola icy. It's just because I'm a big coca-cola guy anyway. It's just digging a hole now. I mean. The hole's getting deeper. I'm really starting to realize maybe the coca-cola icy really isn't the movie. It isn't. It's just what I go to. Yeah it's like it's one of those flavors that you're just like ah when in doubt but really it's like have you tried any other ones? The strawberry one's pretty good. Strawberry one's mid. The best is the blue raspberry and I'm dying on that hill. Anyways back to the topic of. Oh yeah my bad. Vanilla coca-cola. Yeah exactly. Okay that I can see that but no on a for real note action movie it's a cherry coke. Now if it's like a little like kind of rom-com kind of lovey movie all that stuff nice sprite. Why a sprite? Because I have to pee more for sprite. So that means I don't have to watch as much of the movie as I'd really want to. So it keeps me out. Yeah and then you know comedy movies dude I just get a water because I just want to sit there and laugh the whole time. I'm always popping some M&M's when I'm watching. Yeah that's what I'm saying. If I'm watching like a good funny movie it's like water and M&M's. Y'all ever had Junior Mints? I think those are pretty damn good. Oh let's move on to snacks then. Okay yeah yeah pivot to the best movie snack. I always like the little crunch bar like the little. Yeah yeah like the crunch balls thing. Yeah I know exactly what you're talking about. The crunch chocolate balls. Oh I have never heard of that in my life. No those are like. Those are the bees knees. The witch's titty. The witch's titty those things hit. Um no I fuck with heavily the um you know the little like the cookie dough balls that are like covered in chocolate. Yeah that shit makes your fucking pussy throb. I'll tell you what. On twitter also guys put in the comments on your favorite movie snack. Yeah that's what I'm saying. I'm very interested. Let's hop on that train. What is the best movie snack. Yeah I mean you can't go wrong with popcorn low key. Yeah well like popcorn's a given though like everyone when you go to a movie you get popcorn. Oh so you're saying. Yeah like like like okay there's a plan A right plan A is popcorn but what is that plan B that either you mix into the popcorn or you have when you're like fingers and stuff are like all buttery and you're like I need a break. No that's fair I mean I can't I mean can't go wrong with M&M's like they're always a go to. That's what I'm saying. Junior Mints big big candy person um uh Skittles I mean I'm a huge fan of Skittles. You had me and then you lost me. I'm not a Skittles guy it's too sugary for me. I can get out of sugary but I just like the like you know the sweetness of it that just kicks in. I wouldn't eat Skittles outside of a movie theater but like in a movie theater it just hits the spot. What about the Sour Skittles? The Sour Skittles hit. No I'm not a Skittles fan it's just they're not they're not it for me. You know the picture for the CSU basketball team when they went into the gas station got all their favorite snacks I saw a few guys with the Skittles uh. I think it was Tonje and a couple other guys. Yeah Tonje had the Skittles. Riding on that wave. Yeah riding on the Skittles waves and I'm like hold on hold on. That's when I mentioned the outlandish pic from Patrick Cartier going pistachio. And you know I was limited about that on him. Hey man respect the hustle though. I mean yeah he's pretty healthy. He's talking about the same guy that took a brownie from us getting pistachios as his girlfriend. I don't blame him not dude pistachios are kind of the way to go like I see where he's coming from. Because sometimes you want like like when you get a snack you don't want to just be like I'm gonna be fat you know. You got some like cashews. Yeah yeah but like dude pistachios are the shit though like for real for real. Like if I pull up at a bar and I see like pistachios salted nuts or pretzels it's going to be the pistachios every time. Yeah like I don't touch nothing else because I know those pistachios are brand like they're fresh. Nah even those those are still hit or miss. Pistachios always hit. Yeah Logan can't even weigh in on that. Imagine being allergic to peanuts. Yeah that sucks though. Yeah it would suck it really does. Yeah just they're straight up inferior but it's okay. Did you know the majority of the population is actually allergic to dairy? About 40% of us are not allergic to dairy. Yeah we're speaking on that. Dairy huh? Oh yeah so like on a for real note like most people are lactose intolerant. Like in the general population I know at least in the U.S. like 40% of us are not lactose intolerant. Everybody else is. Wow does that make me superior though? It's like it's a severity thing though. Are we like better than everyone? Yeah basically. Well you can't talk you're allergic to peanuts. Yeah but like basically like 60% like have some sort of like reaction to it. Like some people have a you know extreme you know and then there's some people that really they're just like oh upset stomach kind of thing. So which actually is makes sense because you know most like adults like animals especially mammals are not supposed to have milk anyways. So it's actually like they're actually the normal ones compared to the rest of us. So the 40% of us that I fall under that can continually drink milk and have cheese and all this stuff we are weird compared to like the natural laws of life. So that's like that's a CSUW right there. All right we're going to transition from lactose intolerant to the Denver Broncos. Oh boy oh god still in the out of bounds session. Let me tell you all right I'm a die-hard Denver Broncos fan. I've been going to the games ever since I was like 10. God do they suck. All right you know what let's talk we're not even going to talk about the Denver Broncos rights let's talk about the wrongs. You know Jerry Judy what an absolute lackluster receiver. Jerry Judy man. I mean I'll take that a step further what a lackluster receiving core in general with Portland Sutton playing so underwhelmingly bad this entire season. It's not even like stats wise they're bad they're just disappointing. How the hell did the Denver Broncos pick Jerry Judy over potentially the best receiver in the NFL because everything that's wrong with the Denver Broncos is the Denver Broncos. Literally the coaching staff everything other than the owners because I know the owners are living. They need to do stuff about Hackett man. We need a new coach. He ain't it he ain't it. Let's talk about bad situational play calling bad clock management. Oh yeah don't get me started. I mean all right Russell Wilson is not him but we don't have the money just to like get a new quarterback. Well what we should do is you're actually going to thrive off that. No all we need to do is just get a new head coach and try and adapt to work with Russ because he's not good but you know we had Tebow when we went to the playoffs with Tebow like we can live with exactly like and honestly he's not that terrible he's a little washed up but like you know you could just because the chef is a little you know a little high on coke doesn't mean he don't know how to cook you know what i'm saying like like at the end of the day like he still knows how to throw the football down the field it's just having the personnel that's understanding that he ain't going to throw it very well and it seems like he's lost a little bit of a step on like oh yeah he definitely has well he's old he's like he's old and like he's washed up and we know that but he'd probably like now it's probably like the steaks well done yeah he probably does like you probably go to elway's and get them well for real though they need to just get a new coaching staff and just you know like build plays around knowing you have a terrible quarterback not saying run the ball every time but like you know if you don't get running back right they're not bad yeah they're not bad i mean at the end of the day like we have pretty decent talent overall like don't get me wrong i mean bouncing off ed's statement i mean any game plan could probably work get the arizona cardinals yes i would not be compared next week like against the rams but the rams are just as bad as the cardinals are so i don't know right and potentially even worse yeah right now like the nsc west is not how the nsc west is over under the broncos sack baker mayfield six times this next week under the broncos honestly i hope they take i want the broncos to lose the rest of their game get their draft pick it doesn't matter it would give us even more of a reason to get rid of the head coach that's what i'm saying that's what i'm saying if we take when we get nathaniel hatchet gets more leverage exactly that's what i'm saying like we almost have to take get better like not better picks but just better coaches and just it's a great thing that we got the dolphins pick because we at least have a first round pick now what we do with that first round oh my god yeah forever get an offensive weapon or an offensive lineman those are the two things that they don't they don't draft like a linebacker or some shit like that if we do that i will be very disappointed in george patton well prepare to be disappointed i am you're a broncos fan prepare to be disappointed and we'll make this a short little segment here but we're going to move on to the uh csg football team in the midst of the transfer portal the three of us will talk about clayton ellen and csu football real quick but uh broncos country let's ride let's ride all right with the transfer portal uh getting really really big around this time um we're at csu getting a few commits here and there i wanted to talk about just how our roster is shaping up this next year mo kamara coming back next season and uh to go the anusium that was a big one our defense is going to look really nice i know logan wants to talk about the safeties a little bit defense yeah i mean i played defense in high school i'm always going to be an emphasis for defensive play i mean you know i was never really an offensive guy i don't really care honestly well i mean i should because you know we're you know tory horton clay village you know they're good i think clay will improve tory horton will always be tory horton but oh yeah uh yeah defense i mean you know they're they're great we brought back everybody and i'm excited to you know see what they could do on a defensive side of the ball freddie banks does an incredible job in my opinion you know using the three safeties i love bringing aiden hector into the nickel safety or nickel corner excuse me and i love that and of course like the two corners the two safeties you know blackbird and howell they right now right now we got chiggy and uh brandon gooseneck corner we've just brought in a uh former or uh yeah former firman university corner um that'll be interesting it seems like he was second team all league in that that that division of uh fcs football that's a that's a big pickup he has good tape on huddle um i want to talk about offense a little bit bringing back millen moroe the entire receiving core we're trying to get a couple guys from in the mountain west unlv and wyoming receivers uh who shall not be named right now but uh i want to name them oh yeah and they're both really good players hopefully they they jump in the boat but um yeah doing trying to do our best and uh transfer for right now we're trying to get as many offensive linemen as we can still awaiting on on dishes and oh yeah oh yeah and uh what we do in the offense with the offensive line and the transportal really deciphers what our roster is going to look like what our projections are going to look like we're trying to get to a bowl game next season with even with a tough schedule but playing uh washington state week one and canvas stadium wazoo at canvas is going to be insane i'm expecting a sellout with that game i hope to resell out and i know a lot of a lot of fans especially students like you know they're really not believing in this program and they need something to believe in something and i want you know i was trying my damnest to try to like get people these games you know right yeah it's just tough with our fan base right now and um with a lot of people leaving at halftime which they with how our program has kind of been the last few years that makes sense and uh it's kind of been that way since 2017 but we need that one year to get everyone excited for the football team again let me chime in on that because i have been one of those fans that has left at halftime uh it is a we need a culture shift like it's not just so much like our team and players like yeah we're we're mid we're very mid team but like if you have a whole culture shift to football and everyone's like excited to be there the like the players feed off that energy and that's the problem is like our whole stadium and fan base knows that we suck so all they do is they talk shit for uh about a quarter and a half then they leave and like our better they're too drunk to exactly like our players can feel it like whether whether our team is willing to admit it or not and people around us willing to admit it or not like they can feel the energy is not there like even though we all show up and we're all like excited like yeah football like everyone has their expectations extremely low and most people expect us to lose and that's like whether the players and people around us are like willing to admit that that's how it is like it is so like it you can see it how we play because we played we played very different when we played at Nevada than when we played at home right yeah like when we played these away games and won versus how we played at home was very very different or it's almost like when we were away we fed off the you know the other team's negative energy and then like when you're home when your fan base is supposed to be like you know like on your side like it just doesn't feel that way it just feels like everyone's there just because it feels like an obligation and it is a you know fun event we need two things that come together we need to see results in the winning category and I think what winning does is it just creates a whole new energy around the program and then you see a bunch of alumni and students come together support the football team like they support the basketball team you saw five straight sellouts and the basketball season the a year ago because we're a top 25 level team winning creates just a good vibe around a creates hope it creates hope around the football program and I think a lot of people have hope for Norville to turn this thing around he's bringing in the number one recruiting class in the non-west but you need to see that turn into results and that is what we're looking for out of the CSU football program and recruiting start that and the transfer portal starts that and you know speaking of the transfer portal we got you know a commit from Vince Brown tight ends right yep tight end and you know I like that man you know gotta get them big boys up front you know a guy that can you know catch the ball well and get us you know positive yards yeah really got a good tight end from Juco big 6-7 target bull and I think I've heard of you tall receiving threat at the tight end position to Norville's recruiting basketball players bro like they're tall as hell oh yeah and you know hopefully most like you know there's a ton of you know I've learned from you know from social media on Instagram Twitter all of that like there are many personalities in CSU that like need to be able to bring people into stands and there's too many pages here to where like you know we're not filling seats you know people leaving at halftime I know there's enough pages here to where we need to somehow put these people in the seats and keep them there because we we have a good team it's just what we do with the players you know and of course you know we come off a rough season three a night again for two years in a row but luckily Norville and you know all these players that we're getting are bringing hope to this program and I hope that anyone outside of just us the outlaws are able to see that because you know we go to basically everything we want people to be as passionate for CSU sports as we are so I don't know man I just I just hope that you know the transfer portal goes great for us I hope that offseason practices spring ball goes great and we're able to just be on the level of CSU football that it was in the past. All right um we're going to wrap it up here we're going to wrap up the outcast with Todd and he's going to do his last little segment for you guys for episode two and uh yeah enjoy. Welcome back y'all this is my segment to get extremely deep and give everyone some motivation in life um Logan may or may not tap in here but uh you know I found in life that there's a very big lack of motivation for people and you know it's kind of sad honestly like there's a very big lack of motivation and a lot of people are dismotivated to do a lot of things for themselves and I've come to realize that the only way to be motivated is you got to start with you be selfish it's okay to be a little bit selfish with things you know I've realized you could put a lot of things off in your life a lot of self-betterment things that you know it's really easy to look at your past and just run from it but sometimes the greatest growth you'll find is when you actually confront a lot of things because you could sit here and you know not in a religious way but just be like god why you know why am I getting like all these problems why am I you know you're doing a lot of self reflective like I'm in a lot of shit right and a lot of times we don't sit back and look at it as you know you can sit here and like pray for strength you can ask for strength or you want to be stronger but you realize that the only way that you actually become stronger is when you get confronted with problems like you want to become a wiser person then you're going to receive problems in order to become a wiser person right so the best thing I could give y'all to take away from this is change your mindset from being a victim to a victor instead of looking at everything of why is this happening you know oh it's all this bad shit all these bad things are happening to me bad things happen to everybody man everybody is going through something not a single person has their life together not a single one of us has any of their shit together and the sooner you realize that everyone around you has no idea what the hell they're doing that's when you become like you become conscious and realize that you know what you want and only you can get there you know people can walk the line with you and you can achieve a lot of your goals with people around you but the only person at the end of the day that's going to achieve anything that you want to achieve is you become your best friend be you be your best friend and you will accomplish so much more in your life I promise you if you take the path that is harder with more struggles and has more failures before successes you will get a greater success at the end of that road and let me tell you you're going to look back as a much wiser and better person than if you took the easy way out never take the easy path is it may seem for the first month two months three months first year that it was the right choice of like oh everything's easy everything makes sense you're going to find in a few months a year maybe even sometimes a few years that taking that little easy step out like that lateral step out was not the correct choice damn bro yeah jeez you're gonna find in life that the easy the easy road you know not to get super religious but the devil the devil will always give you the easier choice right the easier choice will always seem good and seem like the right choice for a very short period of time and all it's going to do is set you back more the best things in life are the things that you actually have to work for and actually have to get because when you look back and you work for something you're going to feel a hell of a lot better than when you just got something right like it like in a career if you just get handed an executive role sure you get a nice paycheck but you don't know what you're doing where if you work your way up that ladder and then you start your own business like you know exactly how to do it you know what i'm saying like you know a lot more like knowledge is power and the more you put yourself in situations where you're going to learn and going to build and going to be better you're going to become a better person for you and that's going to be what i'm going to leave y'all with is become the better you and the only time to do that is now there's never going to be the right time to do anything in your life you know i understand that there's going to be hesitations on certain things there's going to be times you're going to sit back and go well what about this no it's like don't play the what if game you know there's a perfect plan already laid aside for you you just have to start executing it the only person that can get you to where you want to be is you so the time starts now get up give a hundred percent every single day and i'm not saying it's easy it's very hard and progress will never be linear you're going to have good you're going to have bad days but the quality that's going to define you is how much harder you're willing to work than the person next to you and i want to chime in here look i mean i bet y'all didn't expect to hear this from the outlaws right like no you know definitely not so and i mean you know y'all probably see us as you know 19 20 year old kids that just go to basically every single damn game and you know just bunch of yahoos yeah a bunch of 19 20 year old dudes sitting in the front row with cowboy hats being idiots exactly and you know as much as y'all want you know whatever y'all want to think about this segment man like you know just listen to him man like you know he's he's hit a point in his life to where you know he's gone through a lot exactly he's gone through enough to where he's understood the struggles of life already and the dude's 19 years old so like and that doesn't put like a whole perspective on y'all's lives then like i don't know what will from you know this wisdom coming from someone that's not even finishing their sophomore year yet but it's also important to hammer in that everyone's on their own path and people mature at different rates but the best thing to do is when you realize like you hit a point where you realize that you need to be better the hardest part is taking that first step to being better and then everything else just falls into place you just have to make that stride and that's the most important thing is just starting it again it's not easy none of this shit is easy life is hard life sucks don't get me wrong but it's not about like how hot like how early you do things because hell there's people that don't get married till they're 40 50 60 but that's the best love that they've ever had you know what i mean it's not always about the the like quantity it's about the quality so if you realize that you want something the only time you're going to be able to do it is now you just start doing it now you want to be your own boss great quit your company go start what you want to do now you may not know what that is but at the end of the day you will only achieve what you want and that's what's important here and you know i'm not some crazy wisdom because you know i'm only 19 i haven't done half of the stuff i worked in corporate america a little bit i understand the corporate ladder is hard to climb but at the end of the day like the only person that's going to climb it for you is you you know you want to raise go ask for the raise fuck it you know at the end of the day like what are they going to say no okay great now you know you just got to work that much harder tomorrow and ask in a month you know asking a year and a half you know just keep keep pushing you know i'm all about that you know get on the grind get on the grind and yes the grind is important but there's also times too where you need to realize that working the five days a week is more beneficial than working the seven days of the week and you just have to find the balance in your life and that's again it's one of those things on your self-betterment you know you got to find the balance for you exactly and i really hope that y'all are taking what he said to heart and you know if you if you if you are then eventually i hope you will find it come back to this episode in like a week or something something happens in your life you come back to this episode listen to the words that are coming out of this man's mouth and just take it to heart and anyway you can and that's really all we ask of you know right well in a week you're not going to become a millionaire like progress doesn't happen like that and don't don't expect that like be easy on yourself like you're gonna go up and you're gonna go down there's never gonna be a linear stairway up trust me that's not how this shit works but if you have the mindset of i'm gonna keep going then nothing can stop you the other person that's going to stop you in this life is you so do it you know like the the time is now there is no tomorrow there is no the day after that get up and do it no you want to be again i don't know who's going to be listening to this but you know you want to you want to become a pro athlete great go practice right now like what else you got to do you know oh you want to go on that vacation to cancun great start putting money aside now start an open like open a separate bank account a separate fund you know talk to your fidelity advisor like there's a lot of little tiny steps that you could do in order to get you to places that you know you're only dreaming of because at the end of the day speak things out in the universe and they come true or they just stay dreams in your head you know have a dream wall have a 5 10 year 20 year goal you know like actually plan out your life don't just be throwing shit out there going well you know maybe one day i'll have this no plan for it shit you want to become a millionaire all right sit down for 20 minutes and write out your plan how am i going to do it and don't be like oh win the lottery you know obviously i actually have a legitimate plan of all right well if i put away x amount of dollars this time you know if i pick up some extra shifts here and there you go back to school continue school change my major you know like sit down and figure it out like that's the only way that anyone's ever going to get anywhere and yes half of a lot of life is a lot of luck but what defines the person the most is not about the luck it's about how they get up after the bad luck you know life's going to kick you down it's going to keep kicking you down but the strongest ones of us that go the farthest are the ones that keep standing up shit all these big businesses you think like like controversial but donald trump fell apart multiple times before he blew up steve jobs didn't make it in one day elon musk didn't make it in one day like all these big corporate people that own all these big companies or millionaires billionaires did not make it in one day and as much as some people want to sit here and go well their parents had money or this had that no look literally sit down and look at half of their stories most of them started in a garage some of them started from negative money in their account like the only person that is stopping you from like being one of those people is yourself and that's that's it that's a bar all right um that that is a bar that's a bar yeah so like i said mentioned earlier hope y'all take this to heart because you know todd is you know maturing quicker than probably all of us right now and he's at this level that maybe we'll hit in one life maybe we won't so and you know if all y'all are going through something right now i hope you listen to this episode at least take this segment to think about yourselves man because you know as much as we are dumbass like csu fans we really do care about all y'all yeah no for real hey reach out to my twitter too like i my dms are open outlaws is open you know any of us i'm on the instagram but the boys are other boys here run the twitter like reach out if you want help you want advice shit ask for it and i may not be able to give you the right advice don't don't don't take this as like i'm an all-seeing person but you know like reach out for help if you need the help like there's no shame in it exactly and you know the motto that y'all probably heard forever rams take care of rams you can probably reach out to any big personality on twitter instagram whatever you know just reach out to a page reach out like you know even if like you know whoever you think would probably help you in this scenario you know any ram fan they will they will help you amen they will and if they can't help you they'll steer you to someone that can and if they don't then you know they're not a true ram for exactly and that i think is a perfect way to end that's exactly the way to end all right ram family y'all take care of yourselves you know reach out for help if you need it it's important it's a hard step but it is very important you know y'all take care and we'll catch you in the next episode
