The person is feeling down because things have been going wrong for them while everything seems to be going well for their friend. The friend explains the concept of manifestation, which involves visualizing desired outcomes, using affirmations, and taking action towards goals. They also discuss the importance of having a positive mindset, gratitude, creating a vision board, and practicing positive affirmations. They explain that manifestation is not just a belief but a real concept based on the laws of attraction and assumption. The person is advised to act and feel as if their desires have already been manifested. The friend also mentions that constantly checking for a desired outcome can hinder its manifestation. Key, why do you look so down? Oh my god, everything's been going so wrong lately. What do you mean? I just don't understand how everything always works out for you and goes your way. Oh, I get it. I think I have the trick. Okay, teach me your way. Okay, so it's actually very- I don't know if I've been doing everything right. I've been wishing for good things, but it's not working. Okay, you're not doing it the right way. You have to manifest. What? Today on The Power Within, we will be talking about the power of manifestation. On last week's episode, we talked about the downsides and upsides to karma. This week's episode will be based on the three most commonly used methods to manifest, as well as different laws. The first method that will be covered today will be visualization. First of all, what you need is to create a mental image of your desired outcome. To practice this method properly, find a quiet, comfortable space where you won't be disturbed. Close your eyes and imagine yourself already having achieved your goal. Make sure to include all the details such as the sounds, smells, and emotions. For this method to really work, it will be necessary to spend a few minutes each day visualizing your goal as if it has already come true. This mentality allows yourself to fully embody the experience. Wow, very well said, Miki. The second method we will be covering is called affirmations and personal experience. The method of affirmations is a powerful technique used to reprogram your subconscious mind and align your thoughts and beliefs with your desires. This may seem complicated, but it's actually quite simple. If one of my desires is getting a job, I have to start aligning my thoughts and thinking that I already got the job, instead of thinking like, oh no, I'm not going to get it or something like that. Affirmations are usually positive statements that you repeat in order to reinforce a belief, goal, or intention. Choose statements that reflect your desired outcome, and most importantly, state them in the present tense as if they had already come true. For example, if you're manifesting wealth, you can say something like, I attract wealth and prosperity. Very good, Natasha. So, the third method is action and goal setting. Basically, this is the way in which you can achieve whatever you want, whatever you desire. The premise of the goal setting is to work in silence and shine out loud. Here are six ways to manifest a goal. First way is to write down your goals. Start a manifestation practice by identifying and writing down specific goals. Let's say you really want to get a car really badly, or that job you've been eyeing ever since your kindergarten teacher asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up. Catalog these goals over time in a manifestation journal and see how they evolve. Another method is to write down your goals on slips of paper and place them underneath your pillow at night and bring your goals closer to you. The second way is to develop a positive mindset and reframe negative energy. This is very important because this manifestation process involves challenging negative feelings and limiting beliefs in favor of more positive evaluations. Be mindful of your thought patterns and integrative reflective negative thoughts. For example, if the process of finding a partner that you really want leads you to think, I will never find my soulmate, try to flip that notion on its head. A great positive rebuttal may be, I am taking my time to find the right person for me, and it will happen. Shifting your mindset to focus on positive emotions will improve manifestation and your well-being. Number three is to make a vision board. Crafting a vision board, a collage of photos, quotes, and colors representing your dreams helps you visualize the life you want to build for yourself. Hang the vision board somewhere visible in the house. It could be on your table, it could be in your kitchen, it could be anywhere in your house. Hang it wherever it is that's visible to you, setting yourself up to think about how you will manifest your dreams every time you pass by it. Number four is practicing your gratitude. This one is pretty hard, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very helpful. Gratitude is a powerful mental tool that cultivates an abundance mindset, which is the belief that there is always enough of anything to go around. Faith in the abundance of whatever you're seeking, love, money, happiness, fosters positive energy that you can channel towards achieving your goals. Keeping a gratitude journey is also a powerful tool that will aid in your manifestation journey, encouraging you to consider the value of what you already have, and helping you to bring more positivity into your life. Number five is to try regular scripting. Scripting is a manifestation practice that involves writing journal entries as you've already completed your goals. For example, if your goals are to manifest love and move to New York, for example, start journaling as your future self. Use present tense as if you have already accomplished those things. This way it's easier to envision your desired future and come closer to it so that once you finally reach your goal, it won't come as a surprise. And finally, number six is to use positive affirmations. Incorporating positive affirmations into your daily self-care practice may help improve self-esteem while helping you manifest your goals. For example, suppose you want to manifest a new job. In that case, a great affirmation may be, I will get my dream job. Some manifestation practitioners even use numerology to strengthen their practices, like the 3-6-9 manifestation method. This technique involves writing down an affirmation three times in the morning, six in the afternoon, and nine times at night. Once you understand the laws of attraction, you'll be able to manifest anything you want. And no, manifestation isn't any woo-woo spirituality make-believe, it's actually real. So here's an explanation. It's basically a concept that suggests that thoughts and emotions have the ability to attract similar experiences into someone's life. So some of the basics are just that the universe is made up of energy, and our thoughts and emotions are also a form of energy. Thoughts hate attract. The more you try to force something such as a relationship, you are automatically subconsciously pushing it further away. Power of thoughts. Thoughts hold energy, so if you're telling yourself you're ugly, dumb, etc., that's what your brain will start to believe. You are putting restrictions and limitations on yourself without even knowing it. Okay, so now it's time to talk about the laws of assumption. So basically what it is, is you just living assuming your manifestation is already done. It's being a bit delusional. Just having an attitude like, oh yeah, that's already done, it's guaranteed 100%, written in the stars kind of attitude. Trust me, if you think it's BS or have any doubt at all, it won't work. So you have to assume it's already manifested with your actions and emotions. How would you act and feel when it's already done? Start taking those actions and feeling those feelings. Watch it attract right into your life. So let's say when you're waiting for a text from someone or maybe an email, if you're checking your phone 100 times per minute, it's never going to come. The more you stop thinking about it and distract yourself with other things, the more likely it is to get that unexpected text. So next time you go to check your phone for that text, DON'T! That's a wrap, girly pups!
