The host also asks for examples of effective communication in a professional setting. hello welcome back everyone to the I have a question podcast thank you guys for coming back and let's get right into this episode so today we'll be talking about giving and getting feedback giving and getting feedback are important parts of communicating effectively right giving and getting feedback are super important whenever you're sharing an idea or someone is sharing an idea with you so why is giving feedback and getting feedback important well giving feedback can encourage a person who's sharing an idea with you and then getting feedback gives you any idea of what other people see your your strength says as well as maybe some weaknesses but to focus more on those strengths so some simple do's and don'ts of of giving feedback and receiving feedback first to be honest be honest with what you believe with what you saw the good things that you saw maybe the little things that the person can improve on while at the same time being respectful you know when you're listening don't don't jump in and interrupt them or try to be rude right on the contrary and provide listening ear provide a welcome environment for to hear someone else's ideas now whenever you're you're speaking you know don't be respectful don't over talk don't don't share too much unnecessary information but you know share what you want to share and be honest about it a few other things I like to show you know is whenever you're giving feedback let it be realistic and specific no don't be like you're always doing this or you're never doing that no be more be more specific more realistic like hey I noticed during this portion of your presentation you were speaking a little too loud you know something like that something that is genuine and easy to point out and then lastly I have a question for you all so I want to hear below in the comment section what are some examples of effective communication in a professional setting so what are some examples of where you can share feedback or you can get feedback in a professional setting well thank you guys for tuning in in this episode and I hope you guys have a good one and can't wait to see you guys next week bye bye
