Okay, so you know Savannah is pregnant, and Savannah uploaded her documents and contacted DSL, DLS, and did everything she was supposed to do, but she doesn't have any clear expectations of what her life duties will be while she's working. Um, correct. However, you guys sent me another document, um, which is kind of like, to me, it seems like it's a similar one that I already submitted. Oh, Lauren, you can stay for this conversation, too. Um, okay, outside of that, Savannah, so she did contact DLS, she did, you uploaded the letter from your doctor, she has verbally communicated that she's pregnant and she's done everything. So, outside of that, what are, what do you need to know when she's here, what is she doing on my duties? Yes, but you guys said that I can't submit it yet. But you're on my phone, by the way. Again, again, again, um, I submitted a few more things. That package you gave me, it's all filled out, my doctor says, you know, I can't, let's put the whole thing under 20, and I, you know, she's on sick, so maybe, I can send you a few more things. A chair, everything, you know, and I'll know when you're ready, and then I have, I might need a helicam, I've already communicated that with you, but do you have that? Well, it's in, it's in DLS now. Right, well, I know, I was going to say, um, did you get the paperwork? I didn't get it, yeah, I have, I think I have it in my car. Okay, but it's in your, but it's in your DLS portal, so if you want to go to A to Z. Okay, but in the meantime, Lauren, what are we doing? That's, So that was where we kind of had the conversation about, like, if you're okay with her working, so we go to something else. Wait a minute, what do you mean it's DLK working? Define that. So there's, there's DLS. But she can't, it's not a DLS process, she cannot be unpaid. That's the law. Right, but it's, but I'll just say it's DLS. Why are you telling her DLS? Is that okay? But I want to say right now, we have no benefit for her. Right. You've got to say it's DLS. Is somebody waiting on you? Um, she's, she's working, she's working. Wait, no, no, no, no, that's not how it works. No, that's not how it works. In your own policy, as soon as she identifies that she is pregnant, that she is to be given immediate accommodation. Like, in your own policy, not to mention, she's protected under the American Disability Act. So we cannot have her working in her regular job. She has to immediately accommodate. But she can't work in tax, it's going to be lifting heavy items. Right, but we can just figure out her tax account. I need a doctor. I have one. But, you know, as we do the work, we can just get her that tax account. Okay, but she has uploaded that tax account, so why is she coming in and being told to work? So, we just need to get people to know. Okay. I'll get that right now. Okay. And can you pull up the policy? This is the problem with DLF and internal HR. There's such a disconnect. How are you guys not able to see the documents that she uploads to DLF if you're HR? I can't see what even my team uploads for me. But if she's giving you the medical documentation, and it's the same medical documentation that was uploaded to DLF, and you're human resources, so doesn't that give you the ability to review those documents? I would have loved that from the moment I started here, but I've never wanted that opportunity. But that is a problem because you're telling associates to contact DLF, and I have workers who are unable to even get into the portal or didn't, you know, have their phones shut off. We are putting way too much responsibility on the workers when this is something that HR should be coordinating. But we can't wait. That's the thing. Workers need accommodations as soon as they have their doctor's note. Bottom line. Sometimes, as an employee, you can't wait. She is pregnant. We need to put her on life duty.
