The speaker is interviewing someone named Meg Nakatani about her experience playing tennis in high school. Meg mentions that she enjoys being part of a close-knit team and that her teammates are supportive and competitive. She also talks about her previous experience playing tennis and how playing in high school is different and more fun. Meg describes playing at the State level as both fun and nerve-wracking. At the end of the transcription, there is some discussion about prompts for future interviews and the speaker mentions recording the conversation. It's easy, it's easy. Okay, which ones are we answering? Okay, so first of all, what's your name and your pronouns? Meg Nakatani, she, her. How does it feel to go to State as a freshman? It's really exciting. What have you enjoyed about your team? I feel like we're really close and there's a really good bond, so it's really fun to be around. How do your teammates help you, motivate you? They're always supportive and really good competition. We're really competitive, but also really pushing each other. What was your experience with tennis before coming into high school? I played year-round and competitively, so I had a lot of experience, but high school definitely is much different and more fun, I think. How long have you been playing? Roughly six. And then last question. What was the atmosphere like when playing at State? It was really fun, but also a little nerve-wracking, but it was super fun. All right, thank you so much. Okay, thank you. That was so bad. No, it was good. Do you want to ask if there are any kind of players who can interview you? They actually look kind of helpful. The prompts? There's like two of them or so. It's all about the competition. It's all about the competition. There was one that was pretty useful. It's like how do you keep up? You're going to do it all night. What class are we going to tonight? 200 grad. Okay. The first thing is they have to know what class they're in. I didn't look at the prompts. That's true. I know, but I just didn't know what the questions were. I know how to write one now. Now I'm just worried about being able to write one. How? Could I actually help you? Kind of. You get the paper to do it. You do whatever you want, basically, but we ask a lot of questions. Okay. You might as well. Okay. I'm still recording.
