Allison Simpson discusses her experience in the season, stating that without LaDue in their district, they had a better chance of winning districts and going as far as possible. The team had strong bonding and morale, engaging in team activities and feeling like family. Going to state was unexpected but exciting, especially defeating their rivals in the district finals. Playing at state was challenging, but they gave their best and had fun hyping each other up. First of all, what's your name and pronouns? Allison Simpson, she, her. Can you ask me questions before you record me so I can see what I've answered? That's actually against our internals and codes. I think we need to either way. Okay. Yeah. How has this year been different from years in the past? I think going into the season without LaDue in our district, we knew we had a big chance to make it as far as we could. And so it was kind of like... Hang on, I don't know the words. I guess because we knew what was possible, we kept going and worked extremely hard to get where... Hang on. Okay, I'm going to turn it over and you're just going to... Okay. Without LaDue in our district, we knew that we had the best shot of winning districts and going as far as we could. And so the whole entire year, our goal was to get past districts and onto state. And so we just kept working hard and kept improving because we knew what was possible. What's the team bonding and team morale on the team? We are all very close. From varsity and JV, we all do a lot of team bonding activities, a lot of team dinners that have made us a lot closer. And I feel like we're all just family. And over the season, especially because it was the longest season Webster's ever had, we were able to get so close and connect so much. Yeah, how does it feel to go to state? It was great. It definitely was unexpected, but in the beginning of the season, none of us could have predicted that this is what would happen. It was great to see David and Earrings in the district finals because they are our biggest rivals. And so that made it 10 times better. And then going to state, we knew we would have a hard time beating LaDue in the first round, but we came out with third place. And it was a surreal experience. It was really, really fun. Yeah, what was the atmosphere playing at state? Well, for our first match at state, it was definitely we knew what to expect. LaDue won state last year. And so we knew we would have a hard competition. But then at third place, in the third place game, we were all just trying to do our best. We knew we had a chance to win. And so it was just a very, we were all hyping each other up. And it was just very fun.
