Webster Grove High School Women's Varsity Tennis had an amazing season, going undefeated in the regular season and winning their first district title in school history. They continued to the state quarterfinals and made it to the Final Four. Unfortunately, they lost in the state semifinals. Webster Grove High School Women's Varsity Tennis wrapped up the most successful season in school history. The Statesmen set the program record with an incredible undefeated regular season going 12-0. This undefeated season set them up for success at districts, where they beat Nearings Hall at the Class 2 District 2 title match, giving Webster's tennis team their first district title in school history. Varsity players, freshman Meg Nakatani, sophomore Hannah Sweeney, junior Addison Simpson, and senior Elena King, weighed in on their historic season and state finish. However, they didn't stop there. The Statesmen traveled to Cape Girardeau, where they played in their state quarterfinal match and won, advancing them to the Final Four.
