Today I want to talk to you about a woman who in Colombia represents the true power of transformation. She represents strangled and strained, she is and will be a symbol of peace, justice and inner power. Her name is Natalia Ponce de Leon. Natalia was born in Bogotá in 1918. She worked as a freelancer, studied in the audiovisual media and liked to have fun. One day she went to visit her mother. They were having a good time when a man came looking for her. When she left the house to see what it was, the man attacked her with sulphuric acid. She is a famous survivor of gender violence. Her face, arms, one leg and half her abdomen were burned. She underwent 16 operations. She wanted to die, but she had a lot of support, who supported her, her family and an entire country. Since then, she led leads and will lead campaigns to draw attention to acid attacks. She travels to many places, has received awards and has a foundation. She could speak in public before, now she can speak in public. Telling her story to help other people was wonderful. She is famous now. Does she make movies? No, she doesn't. Did it appear on television? Yes, she did. She won an award, traveled to the United States to receive the head award from Melania Trump and was part of the BBC's 100 Women of the Year 2016 list. Many people will recognize her as a brave woman. This was a beautiful story and it will be one of the best stories. Natalia is a world hero. She represents Joe and the desire to move forward despite the great difficulties that appear in life. She will always be a warrior. It would be great to see her life in a movie.
