Wladislaw Lach-Szyrma

The book author, Reverend Wladislaw Somerville Lach-Szyrma, was a historian, English curate, and science fiction writer. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of science fiction for being among the first to use the term "Martian" as a noun. Additionally, Lach-Szyrma held a Master of Arts degree and was a Fellow of the Royal Horticultural Society.
