In this podcast, the speaker discusses what constitutes a good life in God's eyes. They explain that having a conscience leads to developing responsibility, love, and goodness. As we grow older, our responsibility and conscience towards ourselves and others increase. Following ideals such as forgiveness, truthfulness, and courage is important. Jesus exemplified these ideals and showed loyalty to his disciples. The Holy Spirit was given to the disciples to spread the word of God. The speaker encourages listeners to read scriptures and learn from Jesus' life. The podcast ends with a song and a reminder to live a kind, responsible, and caring life. When I met you in the summer, took my heart beat down. Welcome back. Today we are talking about a good life in God's eyes. Now, everyone wants a good life with all the luxuries they could imagine. Yeah! But what is a good life according to God? Well, firstly, God makes people with a conscience which leads to developing responsibility, love and goodness. This is what a good life in God's eyes are. A conscience is what generates your thoughts and feelings like if you have a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other when you are trying to decide on something. Wow! As you get older, God has made you develop more of a responsibility and conscience of yourself and others around you, like when you are 10 and you just want all the way to the store. But your mum doesn't even let you get one packet. Annoying, right? Or you might come to a decision to accept that you can't even get everything you want. This leads to something called ideals. In this situation, it would follow by the ideal of forgiveness. God will forgive you if you repent and say sorry. In the ideal of truthfulness, you might steal a loan from your parents. If you follow this ideal, you'll be honest and say, I'm sorry, I still love you. Another one of Jesus' ideals is courage. Courage is when you want to do something but you don't have the bravery to. This is because you don't want to get embarrassed or you don't want to get hurt. In these times, Jesus will guide you through and help you build up your courage. An example of showing courage is when Jesus continued his mission to teach people about God. He still did it even though people were going to kill him and they wanted him dead. Some people may feel bad for Jesus as he gave up his life to save others. But this is what he did and this is the best thing that he did and he followed by all the ideals and was a good person. I feel bad for him. I feel bad. I feel bad for the guy. We'll move on now. Loyalty is what many people want to see in their relationships. It's an important quality to display in life because it means you will stick with someone and always have their back. Jesus risked being arrested for his disciples to show true loyalty. An example of showing loyalty is when you get invited to your friend's birthday party. But then someone invites you to an even cooler birthday party but you still stay at your friend's birthday party. Jesus tells a message to his disciples to stay in Jerusalem. His disciples are his followers. They are made to come out. When Jesus left earth and joined his father in heaven, the Holy Spirit was blessed upon them so they could spread the word of God. They tell the story of God and the Catholic religion to everyone. God gives the Holy Spirit to the disciples to share the word of God. He also grants them with the ability to speak in many different languages to share the message of God. A good life for God is having qualities that are good and responsible. The scripture has many references that you can find out about that represent these qualities. You can follow by what Jesus has widely told to live by these important qualities. God created people to develop human ideals, a good and responsible conscience and a warm heart. An example of a part of the scripture you can first refer to is In Matthew 5.18 Mark 10.32-34 John 18.4-8 Matthew 7.7-12 John 11.32-36 Mark 2.4-5 Even searching up these scriptures can help you learn life lessons and follow by the ideals of God. You can also see the examples that God did in his life. To end our fabulous podcast, there's a fabulous song by the WAIS Choir. Enjoy! God is always in my heart, to my strength, for here you are Jesus, I thank you. I love you Jesus, I love you Jesus, you give me reason, you give me hope, Jesus never let me go. Jesus never let me go. Be kind and responsible, caring and knowing what is good. Now, go live by the ideals and a good life in God's eyes. Thank you. Everyone, have a great day!
