Henry at his new job in Los Angeles, California has moved into an efficiency apartment with Snuffer and Croaker not far behind. He learns his new living quarters have more than a few problems with never-ending pool parties and an older retired couple from Akron, Ohio who have moved in downstairs. He is also beginning a writing career, but his hermit existence must find a way to deal with constant interruptions.
